I love the look of these invitations! The color on the 40th b-day invitation is amazing. These would be perfect for my wedding - especially since we only need 50 invitations!
While all the invitations are stunning, the vintage wrangler is the one for us! I looked through the photos, saw the grey and yellow and just about died! It's in our colors, and fits perfectly with our vintage-summer theme!
Love the "Harvest" suite - it would match perfectly with our Fall, Big Sur, outdoor, causal wedding. Great work!
I love the bloom invitation suite. It would go perfectly with our garden themed, yet still contemporary wedding! So many invites have more of a vintage feel to them, and while beautiful, it just doesn't go with our venue. These, however, would be perfect!
I love the Honeycomb design! My mom is a beekeeper and we will be giving away her honey as favors. We put a little bee on the honey label that is very similar to the bee on the Honeycomb design, so it would tie everything together. We are having a casual outdoor wedding in September and I think this design would go perfectly with the vibe we are looking for, fun but still elegant.
I am in love with the "harvest" letterpress suite, these would be the perfect invitations for my summer outdoor barn wedding. My colors are navy, gold and a hint of light light pink. I am very into Louella Press and it doesn't quite fit into my measley budget; I would be honored to win! Thank you for the opportunity.
All of these invitations are beautiful. I love the look of letterpress invitations. I think that the "Vintage Wrangler" invitation best fits our October traditional (with a hint of vintage) wedding. I've been searching high and low for invitations, and I knew that I wanted ones without flowers. My favorite thing about these is the way the bride and groom's names are showcased. Our colors are slate grey, burnt orange and cranberry. The grey used in these invitations is so lovely.
I love love love the Copper Twist in white & copper! simple and elegant, really matches the understated style for our White wedding weekend. That one would be perfect, but all your collections are adorable!
i am loving the "vintage wrangler" to go with our "vintage vineyard" theme! our colors are apple green and royal blue with grey accents... i am so in love with the simple yet oh so chic look of these invites. *fingers crossed*
This is the first time that I have seen this site - wow! Completely impressed. As a designer, I often find invites to be pretty generic, but these are timeless with that hint of character that makes an invitation unforgettable! I love, love, love the Vintage Wrangler, Bloom and the Honey Bee designs. We are having a an outdoor wedding at a New England Distillery and these invitations really embody the modern/casual feel, while still preserving the tradition that makes wedding invitations so special. I think a really beautiful paper design sets the tone for the event, and these designs are sure to leave anyone excited about the big day!
I really love the Vintage Wrangler design. Our wedding has a vintage feel in an urban/downtown setting. These invitations really exemplify the look and feel of our wedding and would the perfect addition to our special day.
I ADORE the first one under "Custom"! It would be perfect if the lettering were gold instead of teal, though. The style is modern yet elegant, which is exactly the look I am going for. These invitations are truly to die for - I can't get over how beautiful they are!
the vintage is awesome, but the harvest is adorable! love it!
my wedding is outdoors, with very simple, organic designs (at least in my head so far!) and i think the harvest one will convey that nature tone very nicely.
of course, we're also a bit quirky so the vintage one might give us that little bit of an edge.. decisions, decisions! ;)
I love the "Vintage Wrangler"! It would be perfect for invitations for our rerhearsel dinner, which will be a fun and casual catfish fry.
The Caribbean Lace design in a lilac color would be absolutely perfect for our vintage-chateau themed wedding! They have the perfect balance of frill and nature that reflects the glam-at-home wedding we are having in August. And because we are having it at home our guest list is small and we only need 50 invitations! I would LOVE to send these out to our friends and family to get them excited for the wedding.
I’d be lying if I said I haven’t totally coveted Louella Press and Two Paper Dolls for quite some time. Big time SIGH. While I’ve always been a huge fan of the sweet “honeycomb” and the incredible “nouveau,” I am now totally drawn to the lovely “harvest!” Its such a simple, stunning design and it perfectly captures the rustic “dinner party under the stars” we’re trying to invoke!
i love the "jasmine" invitation set. it would go perfect for our ethnic parties. i especially love the bright pink color--its fresh and happy! overall, love your work! the letterpress really stands out in these designs.
The copper twist stood out to me because its delicate grace really enhances the romantic afternoon on the riverboat where we'll spend our wedding reception. I would love to send these to my guests to set the mood!
I love all the invitations! But, if I had to choose my favorite .. it would be the Treasury!!! I love its classic, strong style. My fiancée and I have known each other since my freshman year in high school, and we have been through many obstacles as we grew up in life, and our wedding is more of a party to celebrate our strong love and our family. The look would tie in perfectly with our wedding feel, and its strong, classic beauty. :-) Thank you!
Love the Copper Twist design. Our wedding is a mix of whimsy and elegance, and this suite would fit in perfectly! I'd work in our colors of apple red and silver to really spice things up.
I think the harvest invitation suite is gorgeous! It would go perfectly with our fall wedding set at a historic bed & breakfast!
Gorgeous, gorgeous!! Love them all. My favorites were caribbean lace and nouveau for our wedding but I would have to pick nouveau. It's so crisp and organic. The leaves and flowers remind me of some that grow in the seagrapes along the beach which is where we plan on having our ceremony. What a treat to whomever wins! Good luck ladies and great work Louella Press!!
I love Treasury! This would be so perfect for my fiance and I-- we're having a small wedding with a small budget, but letterpress has always been part of our relationship! We have a wall of our apartment dedicated to displaying all the cards we've given each other through the years, many of them beautiful letterpress.
I cannot take my eyes off of the Cooper Twist design. It somehow manages to be both whimsical and classic at the same time. My fiance and I are finally getting married in early September after a four-year engagement. The ceremony and reception are both at an old mansion. The curling lines on this design remind me of the tops of the posts on the mansion's wrought iron fence. How beautiful!
I'm in love with the colors of the "Plume" collection, however, I'd have to choose the "Spring" theme for its delicate simplicity and beauty. We want a clean invitation in letterpress printing and this design would match perfectly with the floral details on my dress!
The Copper Twist would set the theme for our small, morning ceremony with a shot of whimsy! It combines wonderful graphic, swirling elements (which work for me) and it's not too girly (which works for him!)...I can see us weaving this look throughout the entire celebration that starts our forever. Great inspiration and lovely, lovely work!
The invitations really set the scene and style of a wedding. What beautiful invites, we are planning a pretty contemporary pink and beige styled wedding and the blossom look of 'Spring' would be the perfect way to introduce our wedding to our guests.
The Plume is perfect for my wedding!!! The navy and spring green colors exactly match my color palette. In addition, we are getting married at a bird sanctuary, so the subtle feather motif would be elegant and appropriate.
The OceanFront collection is gorgeous! I am having a small beach wedding at our family's beach house in Cape Cod in September. I was drawn to the Ocean Front collection because it epitomizes the elegant but laid back nature of Cape Cod. You can almost feel the salty sea breeze just by looking at the design. The colors of yellow and navy are also the colors of my wedding.
The Vintage Wrangler design is my favorite--it's playful and classic at the same time. I love the soft corners and the gray and yellow. So pretty!
Oooh!! I love the Spring design! Mine and my fiance's first date was to the DC Cherry blossoms and that's what the design reminded me of! :) Absolutely beautiful!
I would pick the custom if I could 'cause we've already designed our wedding invites ourselves, but haven't found the right place to get them printed yet. I wonder if they can be done letterpress, that would be soooooooooooooo cool!
But if not, I would pick the Vintage Wrangler design. I love the simple elegance, yet not too feminine.
PS. all the designs are just lovely!
I love, love, love Treasury!!! They're elegant, yet rustic. The invitations would definitely compliment our small wedding at Tlaquapaque in Sedona, AZ.
The copper twist is both classy and fun!
I looove Nouveau! It's perfect for our "modern vintage" theme, and I love that classic and elegant feel. So pretty!
I love the mantilla design! I would get it in teal and white because the floral details will match my summer wedding in the garden!
The vintage wrangler was definitely my favorite. All of their work is beautiful and I would love to win. Thanks for sharing.
Harvest is my favorite. We are doing a small, simple, outdoor, Fall ceremony in Vermont. These invitations are elegant and simple and would convey the vibe of our wedding perfectly.
I have trouble picking just one! My choice would probably be urban florish though.
What a hard choice to make! beautiful designs! I will admit that my favorite is image #5 on the custom selection! I love the simplicity of the raised letters on a solid stock! beautiful! Our wedding is an old fashioned Halloween celebration and these invitations would be perfect!!!
Thank you for a wonderful giveaway, and good luck to all!
Harvest is my favorite design because my fiance and I will be getting married in the late summer or early fall. This design captures that time of year. Plus, my fiance loves the color of this invitation. He says it's not too "girly".
I think my first choice would be the Jasmine design, though I also really like the Copper Twist. As I wrote in a post earlier this week, I have been planning for my future sister-in-law (a graphic designer) to work on a design for our invitations with me. However, I am sure that she could play off of either of these gorgeous options and perhaps we could take on even more DIY projects as a result of winning this prize (hope, hope). My fiance and I are planning to marry in San Francisco and the historic Fort Mason Firehouse (right on the bay) is our likely venue. Both of these designs suggest urban elegance to me. I especially love the deco details of the Jasmine design and the stunning blue sample on Louella's Web site certainly fits with a wedding by the sea!
I love the mantilla designs...very nice...a bit off beat from traditional colors...and definitely fits the vibe of our fall, outdoor wedding.
Honeycomb, hands-down! My name is Melissa which means "honeybee" in Greek. I have been on the hunt for a elegant but modern honeybee invitations for our August outdoor wedding.
Please pick me!!! Please!
I'm currently completely consumed with deciding on invitations. I'm really drawn to the copper twist because 1) copper is one of our accent colors 2) The swirls are beautiful, elegant, and simple (all word I hope will describe our wedding) and 3) I love the bellyband that ties them all together... I need some cohesiveness in my hindu/christian/4th of July celebration combo of a wedding!
I absolutely love the bloom collection. It fits our personality and the rustic charm of our wedding theme.
I love the Copper Twist best. It is simple and elegant at the same time and I could very easily include that brown into my already chosen color theme!
Pick out your favorite? As in, one favorite? Yeah, right. Here are my favoriteS: bloom, bouquet, copper twist, jasmine, plume, and vintage wrangler. That's the best I can do for now. :)
I absolutely adore the honeycomb invitations! We are getting married in palace gardens in Germany, surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery, and the honeycomb and bee design would be a lovely nod to the gardens while keeping with our classic and traditional, yet modern, tastes. I love the clean lines and playful nature of the design, and I think that this combination is a perfect representation of our relationship. :o)
Wow! These are GORGEOUS! My favorite is the Belle and it would fit in perfectly with our vintage-inspired East meets West September wedding at the Lan Su Chinese Classical Garden in Portland, OR because the water lily makes an appealing reference to our location without being theme-y.
I love Vintage Wranger - it has this antique quality, but so elegant at the same time. Our wedding will be country meets the city - an classy affair in an unexpected place (like a barn with exposed beams and mason jars for drinks). It is so simple, and elegant, but with a distinct personality!
I am loving the Bouquet suite. It is perfect for our wedding. We are doing a vineyard wedding with magnolia accents. I want to have magnolias on the invitation and all the paper goods. I am having sugar magnolias on the cake and other magnolia touches. The magnolia was my Mom's favorite flower (she was from Georgia) and it is my way of having her memory all throughout the wedding, since she can't be there physically. This invitation would be the perfect addition to our dream wedding!
Carribean Lace! Oh my heavens I love it, we are having a winter wedding so doing it in either a slate gray/white or a navy/white would be lovely... I've always loved summer/spring invites and themes so I was worried I'd never find one to match our December wedding, but this one is just lovely. Absolutely LOVELY!
So very lovely! My favorite is the Nouveau! Exquisitely matches our upcoming outdoor garden wedding! I love the glamorous yet vintage feel of the invitations.
I LOVE the "Harvest" collection! Our wedding theme is Rustic Autumn with many DIY touches. These invitations express the essence of our wedding perfectly with the rustic feel while not being over-designed! These invites would be the perfect fit!
I absolutely adore the "copper twist" design! The stunning swirls and the array of colors would make any guest cancel their standing plans to attend this wedding.
COPPER TWIST! A great blend of modern with a timeless classy feel which is how I want my wedding to be. My colors will be black/white/yellow/orange which works well with this design.
What an AMAZING giveaway!! I love the Caribbean Lace collection. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! AND it goes perfectly with our colors! YAY!
I am helping a dear friend of mine plan his wedding. We were great friends through high school and roommates for a long time. He works for the state and she is an elementary art teacher. This year has shown them a lot of hardship as far as their jobs go. As an event planner, I've donated my time to help them to plan a wedding that they can fit into their ever shrinking budget. Unfortunately, they're not the only ones in those shoes, so a lot of venues are reluctant to cut their fees and reasonable, but responsible vendors are harder to come by right now. Their wedding colors are green and pink and the Vintage Wranger Invitations would be such a wonderful surprise for them. The shape and color will speak to the inner artist in the bride as well as mesh with the overall theme we've come up with.
The Caribbean Lace collection is awesome! I like vintage feel and the unique design of this suite. We are doing a "shabby chic" outdoor wedding and I think an invitation suite like this would certainly bring the "chic"!
Wow! Louella Press has definitely set the bar high. They make it very hard to pick just one design. My favorite so far is the Copper Twist. Organic. Whimsical. Strong. I am the maid of honor/wedding planner for my younger sister's wedding in 2011. The couple is outgoing and crazy with a hint of patchouli! These invitations will bring a sense of elegance to their grassroots soiree. The perfect surprise for the couple who can't get away from the rock face to plan a single detail!
I Love love love the Vintage Wrangler and it fits perfect with my Green and Grey Summer Rustic Outdoor Wedding!
Thank You for this opportunity!
i love love love the vintage wrangler invitation suite! what beautiful punches of color and pizazz. also two paperdolls is local to me, and i'd love to incorporate them into my wedding!
Wow. All of the designs are absolutely beautiful, but when I clicked on "Vintage Wrangler" my heart just leaped out of my chest and started racing with a "MUST HAVE" urgency. That shade of green captures our wedding color and style to a T - summery, a hint of vintage, funky green, and wow... I just can't express how perfect this style is for our wedding. Seriously, it's like the folks at Luella Press read my mind (or had Conan's squirrels burrow into my brain for ideas at night :)) and took exactly what we were looking for but couldn't describe or design ourselves and then (ta da!) made the perfect design. I also absolutely love the different shapes of the invitation suite - I like that they used shapes and trim to differentiate the pieces while using a simple design. This is so us. This would be the absolutely perfect giveaway to complement everything we're going for in terms of wedding style.
The second I saw the copper twist layout, I actually gasped at my desk (yes, I'm at work...being sneaky). It's exactly the look and feel my fiance and I are looking for - a little playful, but elegant too. Absolutely a GORGEOUS design, and I just love the entire suite that comes with it. So great!!
I am in love with them all! Style Me Pretty seems to have an endless amount of beautiful invitation ideas. I definitely fell in love with Bouquet. I love how classic and clean the look is. It is most definitely evokes the feel I am going for on my special day!
Love, love, LOVE Copper Twist ... thanks so much for the chance!
I love the bouquet design... especially the part of the darker colored paper with the flower in white... love it. It's simple but also has a shot of drama and boldness to it, which fits our wedding perfectly. We're trying to do a subtle classy vintage with dark colors. I love the intricate simplicity that this invitation embodies. (I also like that it's easy to read -- I've gotten too many invitations where the writing is so flowery, it's hard to read! )
I love "vintage wrangler" because of the unique shapes and rounded corners. The colors of the Erin and John stand out the most to me.
The spring layout is so beautiful. I love that it is simple, classic and just so darn pretty. We are getting married in June in an arboretum, weather willing, under a tree filled with flowers so this invitation would really set the mood for our wedding. I just finished my PhD and he is just starting his, so we are on a small and very tight budget. I love love love paper products, and am dreaming of getting letterpress. Right now there is a battle between letterpress invites and a DJ, this giveaway would let us have both!
thanks so much for considering me!
I love the copper twist design! We're doing a very modern, fun, funky feel for our wedding and with a bright color, the curls and twists really come alive!
I absolutely love the bouquet invitation set! I love the soft and romantic, yet stylish feel of the flower, which would be perfect for our Charleston garden wedding. What a wonderful collection!
Well. I just love the Harvest logo because I'm getting married on a Northwest beach that is bordered by a lovely meadow flush with tall grasses, hopping crickets and spindly, waving wildflowers. The slender grassy motif in the Louella invites would capture "our meadow" perfectly.
Our wedding is themed around our old 1970s Dutch bicycles and our love of cycling (we squeeze five bikes in our 1,200 square foot house!) We are even dragging our most stylish bike to the beach house and putting our favors (flavored sea salts, natch) in a bed of sand in the wooden wine-crate "basket" fixed on the back of the bike. So my absolute dream would be custom invitations with a sweet and simple bicycle logo, setting the tone of our celebration to come. :)
I am completely smitten with the Bouquet suite. The amazing detail in the single flower design, the elegance of the fonts and the hint of vintage charm would fit so very perfectly with our intimate outdoor summer wedding. I love flowers and I love beautiful paper and this design encompasses both. I can imagine just how amazing these invitations would look and FEEL printed with a letterpress. EXQUISITE! These are exactly what I've been looking for!
All the designs are beautiful, but mmy favorite is the Copper Twist. The design resembles twitsty tree branches which goes perfect with my Fall themed wedding. I especially love it in the orange color with the taupe envelopes. Simple but nice!!!
Spring is my fav because my fiance's birthday is the first day of spring! The flowers are so cute and will look perfect in our sea glass colors.
I loved the Harvest design. I love how natural it looks. This invitation is everything I could look for. The color is perfect. I really feel that the design matches our personalities as well. It also doesn't hurt that we are using dried wheat shafts as centerpieces, ball jars for beverages, and lots and lots of natural decor. These are perfect!!
All of the designs are absolutely gorgeous!!!! I think the one that would best fit our wedding would be the "Ocean Front" deisgn. We are looking to have our wedding a block from the beach at a really adorable boutique hotel. I just fell in love with the location because it will make our wedding more intimate with our guests. It took many years for my fiance and I to find each other and we feel so blessed to be able to share this day with our closest friends and family. The cost has been overwhelming. Not having to pay for "save the date" invitations would be wonderful! Thank you!
Wow! I have been on-line for days, weeks, hours trying to find a beautiful card at a great price. It is hard for me to decide the best. I have to say Belle would be my first then Bouquet. The Belle wedding invite is my favorite since it is a perfect in between where my fiance won't feel it is too girly. It has a simple chic vibe. My fiance and I are paying for our own wedding. With this said we would be so grateful to have help on saving for the cost of invites. I have a huge network of friends and would be happy to share the love of telling everyone about your company.
I love the vintage wrangler! Its the perfect touch of classy and fun! My soon to be husband plays in a band and they have been touring nationwide for the last year. needless to say, there will be plenty of "artsy" people invited to the wedding and I would love to wow them with a great invitation like this one! Ultimately, we just want people to have fun at our wedding (as well as feel over the top in love when they leave) and the invitation should say the same thing, right?
The Treasury design in black and white would be wonderful for our winter wedding! We are keeping it simple with black and silver and white accents, and these invitations would be a fabulous compliment to everything else. All of them are beautiful choices all around, though!
Louella Press's mantilla design is absolutely perfect for our rustic outdoor wedding. Our colors of grey, ivory, and navy blue would complement this invitation suite beautifully.
Copper twist is my favorite. I'm a graphic designer by trade so I love the simple but tactile design. My fianceé and I are having a wedding on Chincoteague in June. We loved the old-fashioned beach town and the ability to walk everywhere. We're having close friends and family only and I love being able to relax with my guests before, during and after the big event. Beautiful invitations would be icing on the cake.
The Vintage Wrangler in the soft yellow and gray hues initially caught my eye because these are our wedding colors! The intricate scroll design gives this stationary a touch of classy elegance, while the diamond pattern lining the envelope and the justified block lettering on the invitation itself give it a modern feel. And of course, I love the typeface keeping with the vintage theme. Looking at close ups of the card stock, I can see it's not the cheap crap, but that it's luscious. This stationary is so many things wrapped up into one complete package. We're in the early stages of wedding planning so I can totally see me and my guy planning our wedding decor around this amazing design. Even if we don't win, thank you, SMP, for introducing me to Louella Press. These pics made my day and are really inspiring.
There's something about bumble bees in August that I can't resist! Michael and I are getting married this August and think the honeycomb set would send just the right taste of summer and fun to our guests! From the bumble bee diving across the envelope to the honeycomb symmetry, I just love it. To then also be able to send it letterpress would be ... well, the bee's knees :)
I absolutely LOVE the copper twist, the minute I saw it featured in the picture I thought "ooooooou I wonder what this one is called". The font is so basic and simple and then the swirls just add a magical touch to it I would say. Which is exactly how I want our wedding to be simple with a little twist!
WOW! What an amazingly generous giveaway! All the invitation styles are simply GORGEOUS and absolutly STUNNING! It's so hard to choose one, but I definately would go with the caribean lace! The details are beautiful and the designs compliments our intimate Mexican destination wedding.
It's really hard to decide... but I think "bloom" is my favorite. It would work well with our garden-themed wedding. Great giveaway, thanks!
I love Spring. I'm getting married next February, when cherry blossoms will be starting to bloom. I can't wait to be surrounded by the large branches and delicate flowers!
I love the Belle design because it's simple, elegant, and a piece of art- all the things I want my wedding to be!
I dream of the Caribbean Lace invitations in teal. Literally. I stumbled upon Louella Press while searching for the perfect invitation but put it to the back of my mind because it was more than we can afford. Now there is a glimmer of hope that my dreams will come true!!
Our wedding is going to be casual and fun - in my mom's backyard - but still be very pretty and refined. The Caribbean Lace invitations reflect that vibe perfectly with the beautiful, antique-y lace pattern paired with a vibrant color and a whimsically modern font.
A keepsake picture of our Caribbean Lace invitation propped up against a centerpiece of garden roses and wildflowers in a pink-ribbon-wrapped mason jar... now THAT is what dreams are made of!
Caribbean lace is my favorite - bright and light with a vintage flair - it's unique and oh so lovely!
Harvest would be perfect! The organic design is simple, classy, and beautiful, and would be great for my small outdoor wedding at a botanical garden.
I love the vintage wrangler invites. Clean font and rounded edges--to die for! We are having our reception in a vintage carriage house and this would fit perfectly into the location. These invitations would be a beautiful addition to our vision!
Oh my goodness...I have to have the Copper Twist!! First, we have created an event that celebrates our families since they are the ones who helped define who we are today! We are using swirls implace of a typical family tree because it looks more modern, and ultimately because they loop over each other, that is what is happening with our families!! Second, copper and a plum/wine are our colors!! We love that the colors symbolize ideas that represent the past, but we are able to use them to reflect the past and define a future!!! I would love to win these invites!! They are perfect for fitting in with my wedding and overall our life!!!
I like both Urban Flourish and Bouquet. Both fit my Elegant Modern November wedding so it is hard to choose. I love how luxe the invitations looks! Winning invitations, such as these wonderful Louella ones, would be wonderful and help with my shoestring budget of a wedding to my deployed Army officer* Thank you for running the contest!
CUSTOM!!! We are having out wedding at the Phoenix Art Museum. I believe that beautiful invitations set the tone for your guests. It gives them a sense of the initial wedding style, but not to much. Its like a teaser for bigger and better things to come. I think those beautiful black letter press invitation suite would go so well with the modern architecture of the Museum as well as our general wedding style. Plus (bonus!) our colors are Black, white with the very occasional shot of red!
All these designs are breathtaking, and I find my heart leaning towards the Spring design because it is perfect for our DC wedding that shares the same date as when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. They are perfect. perfect. perfect.
Our wedding style is glamour + tradition and we plan to incorporate the combination of these two elements in every single wedding detail! I will be wearing a vintage dress, my bridesmaids will be wearing very lovely, glamorous dresses, and my fiancee + I will be married at a traditional catholic church downtown. Wedding party photos will take place along the Tidal Basin with the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom, and the reception will be held at a very elegant venue located a block from the White House.
These invitations are amazing and perfectly incorporate a glamorous + traditional look and style. Exactly the feeling I want to create for our wedding. Thank you for the opportunity!
I love love love the bouquet design at Louella Press. We are having pink and orange as the colors for our wedding, and I just love the amazingly vibrant colors they have chosen for the invitations. I would owe a huge debt of gratitude to someone if I were able to score these amazing invitations to begin the feeling of my brightly colored farm wedding in the Fall! I think they would really give our guests the idea of how much fun we are going to have!
I would have to say the Ocean Front Collection...gorgeous! It would be perfect for us because we are having a small ocean front wedding and reception, and these are unlike any other "beachy" invitations I have seen!
Impressive! There are so many beautiful designs. It is obvious that Louella Press cares about detail and a quality product. I am having an Hindu wedding ceremony followed by a more western style reception all at a California winery. The manilla print would be perfect as it will complement the mehndi (henna) designs that I will have on my hands and feet. Many of my girl friends & cousins will also have designs on their palms as well. It also has a bit of the feel of a vine trickling down onto the page which will work well with the vineyard setting. Needless to say, they are all quite lovely.
I am absolutely in love with the Caribbean Lace collection!!! They would fit perfectly into our vintage inspired theme!
I love Urban Flourish, which reminds me of wrought iron gates and twisting vines of Tuscany. We hoped to get married there next summer to honor his Italian heritage and my Italian language study, but we want my fiance's ailing grandparents, married 60 years, to share our special day. We're trying to incorporate any and all things Italian-feeling into our wedding day, and Urban Flourish in green would be the perfect finishing touch! What beautiful work they do!
The minute I logged into Style Me Pretty this afternoon, I was drawn to the Spring invitation which led me to the Louella Press website. While there were several invites that caught my eye (Belle, Bouquet), Spring still called out to me. The plum blossom is the first flower to bloom in the spring in Japan. I liken this new beginning to the start of our new life together. The invitation has a simple elegance which is timeless and what I am planning for our April 2nd wedding. We will be on the lawn overlooking Lady Bird Lake in Austin on a bright, beautiful April morning with a brunch following the ceremony. Spring will be the perfect complement to what will be, for me and my family, a lovely spring day.
I love several of these designs, but I think "Bloom" would work especially well for our wedding plans, on white/ivory paper probably with a red ink. Our wedding will have something of a red/white vintagey theme with large red/white/gray paper rosettes at the reception and white globe balloons at our ceremony. But that vintagey theme will most likely combined with a little bit of "summer explosion" exuberant flowers in reds/oranges/yellows/whites. the "Bloom" invitations goes perfectly with both the circular/vintagey/spareness and with the joy of summer flowers. In simple red and white (or red, white & black), these invitations would match our wedding beautifully.
The Vintage Wrangler collection would be the perfect follow up invitation to our vintage inspired, Vegas themed Save the Date postcards going out in two weeks! We are getting married in Las Vegas this fall and while I wanted to embrace the spirit of our location in our Save the Dates, I have been trying to find an invitation that is not cheesy, yet looks like it came from the same line of stationery. Vintage Wrangler accomplishes just that!
Our venue is a renovated airplane hanger turned vineyard...a mix of modern and 1930's. The noveau line is just that mix of floral and art deco era! Plus, my fiance's name is also Ryan Patrick...just like the sample.
These invitations are so gorgeous I'm overwhelmed. I adore the Mantilla followed closely by Harvest. On my wedding budget, I'm afraid I can't even afford to dream that I could have these invites but by this contest, I can! Our reception is in a red barn in the fall and I think that these two themes best capture our style.
So the writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who reads.
Dr. Seuss
Vintage Wrangler, it is clean and green. I love it.
I love the Mantilla design and it would compliment my "black tie affiar" wedding theme. The design is simple yet classic and elegant. All of the designs are and simply I would be honored to have any one as my invitations! Two Paperdolls is an excellent and reputable company and I was very happy when I learned they do wedding invitations and then, this sweepstakes.
The Caribbean Lace is stunning and goes with exactly what we are envisioning for our wedding, romantic and whimsical.
I love copper twist! We're having a saturday evening, spring wedding and these capture the elegance and formality of black tie while still having an air of lightheartedness, love them!
I love the bloom suite. We are planning a fun backyard affair. I think the bloom suite really conveys a more casual theme, while still letting people know that we are throwing a nice event.
I would love the Caribbean lace suite. It caught my eye cause the blue is the perfect color to coordinate with my blue mason jars and other details of my wedding and the pattern of the lace reminds me so much of the lace on my dress! This would be an amazing contest to win especially since we only need 50 invitations for our intimate September wedding!!
CARIBBEAN LACE!!!! it is so beautiful and the color of picture 01 matches the main color of my palette and the bridesmaid dresses. Plus I love lace and have already worked lace ribbon and details into all the DIY projects that will be at my wedding, and the lace details on my wedding dress! It is romantic, whimsical, and still very classy and elegant - just like my wedding will be this September!
I love the Harvest design. Our reception will be held on a cliff/lawn over a beach. My idea for the theme is seaside garden. The botanical illustration on the Harvest design is perfect - it reminds me of seaweed!
OH MY!!!! I just love the Urban Flourish design. They are all absolutely pretty, and it would be so wonderful to win!!
LoVEEE the spring.
oops - forgot to say why i love it. cherry blossoms and it doesn't really fit our theme but i know my fiance REALLY wants branches - so we were gonna get some centerpieces with 'em and these invitatios would go right along while still having a feminine flair of flower in it!
I heart the honeycomb! I once went to a palm reading party (I was visiting San Francisco, where else would there be palm reading party?!) and the palm reader called me the Queen Bee! The nickname kind-of stuck. The honeycomb design has the geometric pattern that I love and the Queen Bee makes it perfect!
I just adore "Plume"!! How much more georgous can you get?!
My fiance and I are currently planning our wedding and because of our limited budget are having to "skimp" on invitations in order to afford our big day! How awesome would it be to have the most stunning invitations ever! I always sing praises for Style Me Pretty!
...now I will start singing praises for Louella Press! Yowza how beautiful!! :-D
My partner and I are getting married on Hallowe'en in a 1930s theatre. We looked at all the invitations and fell in love with the gothic and classic style of the urban florish. Our colors are crimson, black and white and this invitation works well!
Ohh I love letterpress paper goodies long time. Unfortunately my super tight wedding budget wouldn't allow the splurge. If I get to be the very lucky winner, I would pick the "Spring" design. I love cherry blossom so much that I've decided to use its colors blush pink, brown and ivory as my color palette. The "Spring" invitation suite would be so perfect for my wedding. Please pick me! :) It'll definitely be a dream come true!
The Caribbean Lace would be perfect since our colors are teal, grey, silver, and white! I also love "Spring."
The Caribbean Lace design would be perfect for my beach wedding! I would never be able to afford such beautiful invitations so it would be a dream come true!
I like the style and feel of a letterpress invitation and to me the Plume style is a modern motiff for an ocean wedding.
Oh my, how I love the "vintage wrangler"!! While this doesn't go with the theme we've selected for our wedding even a little, I think they are spectacular. They actually remind me a LOT of my sister and her style, so, hopefully I will be getting one of these to adorn my fridge next year when she gets married (it will remain there I'm sure for months after the actual date :) ) Fingers crossed here in AZ!
I love the harvest one! We're getting married in October, outside in Kentucky and those would be perfect with the bright green color.
i love the caribbean lace--perfect for my caribbean wedding! as students on a very tight budget, these winning these invitations would be a blessing. they are all wonderful, thank you for this opportunity! :)
I adore the cooper twist. I love the elegance with a bit of whimsy. It would work wonderfully with our August Museum wedding.
J'adore Vintage Wrangler. We are having our wedding at a historic estate that is beautiful gardens, stone & brick and fountains. This would just perfectly capture the feel of our romantic and natural wedding.
I love the Jasmine design. It would be perfect with our classy but not too fancy vibe.
I love the copper twist design in silver. It is perfect for our Christmas wedding. I love the design on the belly band and the pocket type style of the invitation. It puts a unique twist on a classic wedding invitation, just the feel I am hoping for on our wedding day.
The Caribbean Lace is amazing. It has a simple vintage feel that would go perfectly with my intimate destination beach wedding!
This is the best contest ever! I'm obsessed with letterpress and my heart literally skipped a beat when I saw the vintage wrangler design. You have NO idea how hard I've been searching for the last month to find invitations to match my vision...I just about fell over when I saw these because they are everything--and more--that my fiance and I both want.
The style of my dress is art deco, as well as the small church we're getting married in AND the reception hall. These invitations are the most beautiful things I have ever seen and I hope that we will be able to send these out to our 100 guests very soon (wink, wink). Thank you for the opportunity!
I loved plume. That shade of green is beautiful and the blue is a great accent. Would work well - thanks for the chance!
I love the Caribbean Lace! It looks very elegant and would go really well with my contemporary elegant wedding. :-)
The Caribbean Lace would be so beautiful with our Old World wedding to be held in Coral Gables FL in January 2011. This invitation suite in a chocolate brown with copper accents would be ah~mazing! :)
Beautiful invitations, the vintage wrangler in yellow would be perfect for our July wedding at the rustic west coast resort near my family cabin. I've been trying to convince myself we don't need letter press invitations to keep the cost down and manage our small budget, but oh how I would love to have these elegant, yet fun, invitations set the tone for our day.
Thanks for sharing!
Oh. My. Goodness. Every single one of those is absolutely stunning. I had the hardest time picking a favorite, but I think it would have to be the Caribbean lace. It's beautiful and would go perfectly with the vintage floral feel I have going for my wedding.
I adore them all... especially the Caribbean Lace, simple and elegant. Thanks for this opportunity!
The Copper Twist is so simple and elegant – exactly what I am looking for in planning my wedding in Tuscany. I love the wrap around the invitation set (it’s like a hug!) and the copper will match my wedding colors (and the shoes I just bought today!) so perfectly. Absolutely in love (with the invitation and my future hubby)!
oh my, i love them all but if i had to choose, i'd go with copper twist! so elegant and beautiful!
Beautiful designs … truly special. I am getting married this October in Sarasota, Florida and would absolutely love to send the bloom invitations out to all my guests. They fit just perfectly into my wedding plans and vision. We are getting married at a Garden Club and the ceremony is taking place in the flower gardens out front. The whole theme and vibe of the wedding is a garden party. Further, the colors shown in image 01 and 02 are the perfect match! My colors are purple and orange – a great offset to all the lush green. The pictures shown are just perfect for what I am going for! Unreal how perfect and special the invitations would be for me! My Florida garden party wedding would be so great with these invitations as a part of it and I would be so grateful. Thanks for reading!
I love the Mantilla because of its classic look. The black and white would go great with my timeless, simple winter themed wedding. We're going with a white-on-white themed wedding with accents of black and these invitations would simply seal the deal!
I love the 'bouquet' design from Louella Press. The brown paper with white floral design caught my eye initially, and the white paper with yellow floral is also incredible - both are fitting for Mike and my wedding. Printmaking is my favourite art form, in particular because of the raw and vibrant quality of the lines, which definitely comes out in this design. We are having a traditional wedding in New England this summer. Mike and I are both attracted to crisp, clean design, and our venues are just that - white and yellow paint, molding, brick, windows with views of lots of leafy trees. I also adore the cozy, inviting feel of these invitations, which is the ambiance we aim for. We'd splurge on a few more invitations, etc, but this gift would allow us to do that and would be such a treat.
All the invitations are simply stunning!!! I specially like the "Spring" collection. I am getting married at a museum with beautiful gardens and our ceremony will be in one of the gardens and just looking at the invitation made think of us, exchanging our vows, under a tree. Also, I am doing black & white with pops of pink and the "Spring" invitation captures everything...the colors, the season, and the mood. Plus, I only need 50 invitations.
I heart vintage wrangler!
I am SO torn between the copper twist and honeycomb sets!! I think the sophistication yet simplistic approach of the copper twist perfectly embodies our contemporary/vintage wedding, while the honeycomb set is equally beautiful in that we have a Summer wedding planned and much of it is homemade. We'll be busy bees up until the big day...Either way excellent designs Louella, Congratulations!
My fiance and I are insect collectors, and we especially love bees (my nickname for him is "little bee"--yes, he's relatively little in stature, and his name starts with a "b"). This obsession--along with the fact that our wedding color is yellow--leads me to choose "Honeycomb" as my favorite.
*WOW! The carribean lace design is amazing!! The color is spot-on for my wedding and I wanted to incorporate a lace element into the invitation design to mimic the romantic lace in my dress. This invitation design is beautiful and it would definitely set the tone for my wedding.
I love mantilla; I speak spanish and the name first caught my attention. I love it in all its incarnations...the turquoise one, the hot pink paper with yellow mantilla (kiddush lunch)...wow! Never seen anything like it. Also love caribbean lace (for the name) and also how it looks hand embroidered.....this expresses a wedding that's very unique, full of personality, full of attention and consciousness. Love it.
These are all gorgeous designs! I absolutely love Bloom design. It is eye-catching and a modern, yet elegant, twist to the typical floral invitations I've previously seen. It's perfect for our modern and whimsical botanical garden wedding!
Ooh, Harvest is the perfect invitation for us to up the ante and take our casual garden wedding to full blown rustic chic! Its so sparse but tells a full story. I'd love to get our guests completely in the mood for a fun, rustic, outdoor affair from the moment they pop open the beautiful invitation.
I love the oceanfront design! We are having our wedding in SC (aka the palmetto state!), so it would fit in perfectly with our wedding theme. I love that it is a fun but still elegant design which would really set the tone of the event nicely. I wish I could say that 50 would be enough, but our wedding list gets longer by the day. This would allow us to splurge and get much nicer invitations than what we could afford without getting this giveaway!
The Urban Flurish invitations are beautiful. It caught my eye because our colors are black, white and blue and these invitations would be a great match.
I love that they are classy, timeless and elegant, just what we want our wedding to be
Wow, these are the prettiest invitations I have ever seen. I love the urban florish design the best-it's grown-up and urban but also fun and flirty. It's dressy and casual at the same time, which perfectly describes me and my fiance'. He's the laid back one and I'm the perfectionist, he's the dressy to my casual! I would love to share these beautiful invites with friends and family.
Thank you.
Your designs are stunning, the details are amazing. We are just beginning to plan our central california wedding and I love the idea of your Harvest design being the inspiration shaping the vision we have been imagining for so long.
copper twist.
Simple, but elegant. Just how we want our wedding to be.
We are recently engaged and have a lot of work to do for our October 2010 wedding!! Urban Florish is a beautiful design that fits our energetic and elegant personalities!!
Copper twist is my favourite! It would totally suit our modern yet casual wedding. Our ceremony is in an art gallery, followed by a modern dinner party in an historic building. These invitations are unique and would suit the look and feel of our wedding. I'm in love with Louella Press!
I am in love with the vintage wrangler. Our wedding is a fall event set in a barn built in the late 1800"s. Our colors are also perfectly matched to these with the green and brown. My wish for my wedding is beautiful simplicity set with a warm barn and close family and friends.
I can't choose between bloom--the overall more casual feel and the circles reminding me of our pie theme--and vintage wrangler--the classy and fun afternoon tea we'll be serving.
I LOVE the "copper twist" design. Very simple, but elegant, which is what our wedding vibe will be. I would imagine this could be easily incorporated into many wedding themes. This design closely matches the out of town bags that I'll be using and I'm using stamps with similar swirls as well!
i love love love them all, but the vintage wrangler is exactly our style, modern, sleek, but elegant and fun at the same time. thanks for the opportunity to win! we <3 style me pretty!
Wow! They are all beautiful. Copper twist caught my eye because of its freewheeling and whimsical swirls. It would fit the style of our wedding by letting our guests know that they are invited to an event that will be a good time, have a significant amount of flair, and that there are possibilities for unsuspected surprises.
Their designs are all so beautiful it was hard to pick one! Plume really stood out to me because the colors will tie in perfectly with our wedding colors and will let our guests know to expect a fun wedding.
I LOVE the copper twist design. It caught my eye because it's simple, yet elegant, and I would imagine most wedding themes could easily incorporate this design. I am using stamps with similar swirls, so this would compliment my DIY decor too!
Harvest is perfect :) Adore this design . Perfect looking invite for our summer Indian wedding .
Cant say MORE!
I love the simplicity of Harvest. My fiance, Chris, and I are planning to have a small ceremony with close friends and then go out for sushi as part of a three day reunion party. It'll be more about having everyone together than anything formal, and I think that invitation really shows the casual attitude I'm hoping to convey. We're just excited to be bringing our friends together for our wedding!
My dear Style Me Pretty,
Oh how I love Louella Press! I am getting married this August and I would just love to have the opportunity to win Luella's creation, "bouquet"! Elegant, Sophisticated, and super Classic! I think that Luella has this beautiful way of slightly adding character to her invitations..Just fabulous!
Chas and I have been together for six years! We are fourteen years different in age, Chas #41 and myself #27! We had a beautiful courtship (and patience was my middle name) and he finally did it! In our living room and I was completely shocked. I really enjoyed this particular invitation style because it really describes us as a couple. Its funny to me sometimes to think that no matter how much time I have spent with this man, I always laugh with him (on a daily basis!) I still anticipate seeing him when we come home from our jobs and super excited at spending the rest of my life with my best friend. This is an invitation that will never fail, will never go out of style and will continue to thrive because it is simply classic. I believe Chas and I are made for one another and we will thrive in our love and respect for one other all of our days. It fits us! We fit!
It would be such an honor if you picked chas and I as your winning couple. We would be most grateful for it!
"Pretty pleases with smiles on top"
Cheers,
Miss Melissa
The Vintage Wrangler is amazing! I love the play on shapes with the contrasting circle, rounded corners and the triangle of the envelope. The colors work so well together and as a textile designer, of course I love the use of pattern! The raised letters are dreamy! Our wedding is going to be on a farm in Georgia. These invitations are so perfect for our Georgia Farm wedding!
Vintage Wrangler- we are a big fans! We are hosting a vintage-wine country wedding in August complete with a barn. These invites are gorgeous and just right!
if everything in our wedding goes off as harmoniously as the design of "vintage wrangler", we will be set! it strikes the perfect balance of fun, quirky flourishes and linear traditional patterns that we are striving for on our wedding day!
I love copper twist for its clean, elegant lines. It's both pretty and fun at the same time. We are using fabric with a similar swirly, wrought iron-looking graphic design for all our table overlays so these invitations will match perfectly!
HONEYCOMB, HONEYCOMB, HONEYCOMB! Oh my goodness! I can't even tell you how PERFECT this would be. My fiance is my "honey", and VERY SINGLE card I have given him has been covered with little hand drawn bees kissing with a little heart between their heads. I even found a card (that I later framed) that has a black and white photo of a little boy dressed as a bumble bee and a little girl kissing him on the cheek - the card says, Bee Mine, Honey! :) The honeycomb with green writing would be even more perfect! That is the main color in our wedding. These invitations are so beautiful, and the honeycomb is the perfect design. It would fit in with our Spring, Shabby-Chic Picnic wedding. Pretty, pretty, pretty please! with a cherry on top.. i'll even throw in hot fudge and sprinkles.. XOXO
Samantha Nelson
I LOVE THE OCEAN FRONT! I love them so much I'm begging you to pick me! They'd be absolutely perfect for my wedding on Fort Myers Beach. I love how they're crisp and clean and simple with just enough design and style to be truly unique. We're having an intimate destination wedding on Fort Myers Beach, but the ceremony is in a church- not on the beach. These invitations are elegant enough for a traditional church wedding, but festive enough for a destination wedding. What an awesome giveaway!
Oh the Honeycomb bee!! My fiance and I are biologists and getting married in an orchard in Oregon. We appreciate all the tiny creatures and the big jobs they do. I would love that little bee to pollinate our celebration so that it will bloom!
He's wearing cowboy boots and I'm wearing my mom's hat from her wedding in 1979!
Let's kick this party off right with the Vintage Wrangler invite.
I love it and we'd be so thankful to win!
Yours in wedding craziness and fun,
Dana & Curtis

These are gorgeous! I'm definitely addicted to stylemepretty!
Love love love copper twist and urban florish. I think I will have to go with urban florish for my favorite though. Love the elegance of the pattern with the copper. Perfect for my outdoor Oregon fall wedding. Our vision is to infuse rustic elements into a traditional elegant wedding. These would tie it together perfectly! :-)
While I'm not getting married .... happily married for almost 26 years now. My beautiful daughter is soon to be wed - for her wedding we'd definitely chose HARVEST - it is classy with a touch of whimsy - which is how my daughters wedding plans to be. The greyish colour sample is almost the perfect colour for her planned theme.
love the whole range of cards - very pretty
I love love love the "copper twist" & "vintage wrangler" what a hard choice... I am getting married in a Italien Style Chateau with as color theme purple declination. The style of our wedding will be modern/casual with of course a bit of classic since it s wedding :-) Therefore the Vintage Wrangler totally communicates the idea that we have of our wedding, very modern yet classic trough the vintage flair. I like the fact that every piece from the invitation is unique and yet still in the same style. It definetly translates the touch that we want to give to our wedding...
Would love love the honor to have thos invitations for our wedding.
xxxx
B.
Definitely 'Carribean Lace'! How I wish wish wish we had amazing wedding stationery like these back here in Singapore. I can already imagine it'll sweep our guests off their feet, like how it did ours. Will really love to share these pretty invites, it's not often we receive invites like these here. It'll certainly be a conversation piece in our wedding =) keep up the awesome work!
What perfect timing, I am just starting to plan the invitations for our late June wedding. For me it was an easy choice, it has to be the Vintage Wrangler design, it's perfect!
Our wedding style was decided by our gorgeous location, an amazing villa built in 1920 overlooking the ocean, so we are going for old hollywood with a modern twist. I found an amazing lime trellis print fabric (our colours are lime, white, and pewter) that will be carried throughout the wedding- table runners, signage, photobooth, etc. and it ties in amazingly with the print on the Vintage Wrangler... my fingers and toes are crossed!
Oh, this is such a great competition! The invitations are my top priority, as I'm obsessed with all things stationery.
We are inspired by sage green & grey - as I've not seen many other weddings using these colours and it will fit the Autumn tones of our May wedding in the Southern hemisphere. We want clean, crisp tones with nothing too "fluffy".
As such, the gorgeous invite that I've fallen in love with would have to be Copper Twist. I love the bold grey of the invitation.
(Though a close second would be Harvest. Simply elegant.
I LVOE the PLUME design. We have a peacock themed wedding. This invite is elegant, modern and fits our color scheme almost exctly!
uhhhh...thats LOVE the plume. Not LVOE.
The Louella invitations truly took my breath away! I am a big fan of Style Me Pretty and I turn to the blog time and time again for inspiration and recommendations. My wedding is in Nov. and it will be small but sophisticated. Since I will be wearing a Mantilla veil, I think the Mantilla style would be perfection!
I love, love, love the copper twist invitations. They first caught my eye because they would still fall into the more formal category that our wedding is in, but it has the fun design that could be incorporated into all aspects of my wedding stationary. As I was looking closer I realized that one of the examples is actually my name & my fiance's name, Amy & Sean (except he spells his different) which sealed the deal for me!
such beautiful designs!
Im really connected to the vintage wrangler design. The embellishment on the deisgn actually looks like the decorative ceilings at the venue for our reception. There are ornate trimmings everywhere, and a carousel on the park grounds, so this look really ties into the wedding's suroundings. It also has a very simplistic, clean look about it, which I love.
thanks for doing such a great giveaway!
Almost too hard to choose because they're all so gorgeous.
If I could though, I would absolutely love to use Harvest. It's so beautifully understated and I hope reflects the same simplicity but beauty we are going for with our wedding. As well, I think the double strand of blooms will go well with our decor of simple flowers in mason jars and cigar box centerpieces. The use of the navy and white is perfect as well, my sweetie's kilt is predominantly navy so it works well with our colors.
thanks!!
What gorgeous designs! Although they are all unique and beautiful, the Jasmine invites would make lovely compliments to style and architecture of our wedding location in St. Augustine, FL. Our venue has Spanish-influenced architecture with Moroccan design details. The Jasmine invites evoke a sense of that exotic flair in an elegant and simplified way. Thank you to SMP and Luella for the generous giveaway! You will be making one lucky lady very happy.
Well, as the groom I never thought I would be the one sorting out the invitations, but here I am trolling wedding blogs trying to find something that will make my fiancée thrilled, and letterpress is it!
I am blown away by the Plume design and think it would work well with the other elements we are bringing together for the wedding. After all my research I am absolutely in love with letterpress and it would be fantastic to get the Plume style invitations done in letterpress!
I am pretty much in love with the "Harvest" invites. The simple but graceful design matches the style of my fall farmhouse wedding and the envelope details are amazing.
I love the Copper design! For my wedding, my fiance and I wanted to create an event that represented us as a couple - modern, fun, and simplistic. These are the qualities that the Copper design represents. Not a lot of fussy details - just a few simple elements to get the point across!
Our October plantation wedding in Virginia has long been imagined as a harvest celebration, with food that makes us think of thanksgiving on a day where we will be so thankful to be surrounded by all of our family and friends. The harvest invitations fit perfectly into our day in both name and style. I love the line!
I love love love the Belle invitation. I am getting married in Philly and I have already sent my spies (my mom and aunt) over to Louella to scout out this invitation! Unfortunately it was a little out of the price range. What a dream it would be to actually get it! The flower design would fit perfect in my deep purple color scheme.
honeycomb.
perfect for the casual outdoor summer wedding that we are planning. i love the use of negative space! all the invites are beautifully done.
: )
We want a small beach wedding and I love the Copper twist invites. They are very elegant and yet not too much at the same time. We haven't decided on invites or anything yet but this would be great!
Harvest is my absolute favorite. We are planning to have a june 2011 wedding and it will be held in a country/outdoor setting. I want it to be rustic and earthy, but full of elegance. I think those invitations would fit perfectly with that theme.
Took a peak and the harvest is very cool. The perfect invitation to our farm table-style rehearsal dinner in chilmark, ma! Love the lines and clean style.
I had the hardest time deciding which one I liked the most. But I think my final decission would have to be Harvest. It's simple and elegant and would go perfect with my fall wedding. My fiance really likes these invitations as well because they aren't "girly" like the other ones I've been looking at. The harvest would be great!!
All of the invitations are so beautiful, but I think the harvest would be the most beautiful for our Big Bear Lake wedding in the mountains of California, in October. I love the simple, natural, clean look that would go so perfectly with our wedding. Thank you!
I am madly in love with the Copper Twist. It's so uniquely beautiful, simple with such elegance and exactly what I want my wedding to look like. I love that it is Copper and not Gold! My colors are simple- black, white, and... COPPER!!! The sleeve that ties it all together makes such an impression! They are so perfect and winning this would be heavenly!
I love love love the harvest. I'm going for rustic, yet elegant and with a twine square knot or something I think this set really accomplishes what we are going for. To be honest I'm kind of stressing about invitations right now. I never really thought they were important but I have changed my tune and now really really want nice, and unique invitations now. I think they really set the mood for the day. The only problem is budget. These would mean the world and I appreciate the giveaway.
Thanks!
The Vintage Wrangler would be perfect for our Sonoma wedding! Lots of bright colors and a casual feel.
Our wedding is in Fort Collins, CO (think foothills of the rockies, breweries, friendly college town) and our wedding is a great mix of traditional vintage and all that is Colorado. That said, it's really hard to choose which invitations would suit us best only because every one of Louella Press' designs are beautiful. My favorite would have to be Caribbean Lace. Lace plays a very dominant role in the theme of our wedding and the invitations are gorgeous!!
CARIBBEAN LACE WITH A TOUCH OF NOUVEAU. I love the light, romantic and antique feel of the Caribbean Lace, especially in the teal pallet. Absolutely elegant and beautiful. I would love to make it pop with the effects that were used in the Nouveau. It basically glows! All the designs are lovely. Donnie and I would definitely appreciate the honor of working with Louella Press to set a feel for what the wedding will be like through the beauty of their press work. Donnie and I are getting married in a rustic environment so I am trying to add all the pretty embellishments that represent me. Caribbean Lace invitations by Louella Press would be a beautiful and much appreciated addition to help us save on our budget and pop out that elegant charm I want people to feel at our wedding.
Without question, the Vintage Wrangler is not only breathtakingly gorgeous, but perfect for our wedding. Our ceremony will be held at an Old California Mission and the reception will take place at a rustic, eclectic olive oil ranch where we plan on line dancing the night away! I have yet to see another invitation suite capture, so beautifully, the combination of summer, vintage, tradition, and down-to earth vibe that is embodied in the chic, fun design. The first gift my fiance ever bought for me was a cowboy hat, the first dance we danced was a cowboy song, and I would love for the invitation we send to our friends and family to be reminiscent of the things that began to untie us years ago!
Though I am not the bride in mind, the bouquet invitations are simply stunning, and would be PERFECT for my sister. The elegance matches her June wedding, and the love that she shares with her fiance perfectly. The hint of romance and the simple design illustrate the relationship between the couple very nicely, and I think they really need some formality to their rushed and budgeted wedding. I could go on forever about how they truly deserve something like this, but even if they don't have the fabulous wedding everyone would love to see them have, they will be happier than anyone else I have ever met just to be together. If I won this for my sister's sake, I can only imagine how happy she would be with me. Not because I would have enhanced her wedding, but because it would show how deeply I care about her having the most perfect day possible. It is, after all, the best day of her life.
All the designs are so nice! I particularly love the Plume suite and think it would work lovely with our wedding-- although the designs are meant to resemble feathers, they also look a little like waves to me and since I'll be getting married outside, with a view of the ocean, they would work wonderfully to give a hint of the ocean, without being too beachy. Plus, the look is so sophisticated-- ooh la la!
My favorite is "Bloom". I love the simple and modern design and the yellow-purple combination would fit the colors of our wedding perfectly! Please choose me... :):)
I absolutely love the Honeycomb design. It is so simple and pretty.
These are amazing! Copper Twist caught my eye right away, as gold is one of our wedding colors. What I love most about this invitation is that it is not overly feminie....gold and light berry our are wedding colors, and they are rather "girly" so I am trying my best to keep all stationary gender neutral so that all the paper and decor truly represent "us" and not "just the bride."
I love both the honeycomb and vintage wrangler designs. We are getting married in a barn and focusing on rustic, natural details, with a modern twist. The example of the vintage wrangler even had our colors- brown and green. Letterpress is something that I absolutely LUST after, but won't be able to afford for our wedding. We have been together for just under ten years and are paying for the wedding ourselves, which is why we haven't been able to have a wedding just yet! These invitations and stunning. Letterpress adds such a degree of understated sophistication- absolutely beautiful, which is how we hope our wedding will be.
I adore the harvest design. We are planning to do a green countryside wedding in Austria and the design would be a perfect match with us and the location. I love your website and how easy ordering and customization works! We don't have something like that in Europe (can you imagine??). I would love to bring your lovely invitation set to Austria, Switzerland, Finland and Italy (that's where our guests will be from). I know that everybody would be so envious as this will be the nicest invitations they have ever seen...EVER! Thanks!
I love "Bouquet." My fiance and I are trying our hand at growing many of our own wedding flowers for our September wedding, so the beautiful floral design and the many color options caught my eye. Wish us luck and thanks for sharing!
I thought that the nouveau invitation suite was absolutely stunning. It is so delicate and gorgeous, but still different than most traditional wedding invitations. For some reason, they remind me of old books, which my fiance and I both have soft spots for. We will be using antique books as some of decoration for our wedding. This invitations would be a beautiful prelude to that.
While all of the designs are just stellar, the Nouveau would fit our September wedding perfectly! We're getting married in the sculpture gardens outside of a 1920's mansion, and the reception will be inside, complete with a fantastic jazz band that specializes in swing music from the 20's and 30's. We want our wedding to be "romantic garden ceremony" meets "jazz-age dinner party," and these invitations would perfectly express that synthesis--romantic foliage in a lovely art-nouveau style. Not to mention how desperately I pine for letterpress. I would be so delighted to be able to send these stunning invitations to my guests!!!
I love the urban flourish design. It caught my eye because it's a modern interpretation of elegant, classic flourishes and has a hint of vines/leaves. Our wedding will take place in an old garden, but our style is very clean and modern, so the invitations would be the perfect mix!
My heart was caught hook-line-and-sinker at the first glance of "Bloom". If the artsy botanical theme, accented with a splash of chic is the cake, then such warm purple, cream, and green tones which match our colors are the icing! "Bloom" embodies the fun style and color palette of our garden wedding in stationary form!
When I started the wedding process looking for garden locations I wanted to stay as far away from "Grandma's Rose Garden and Tea Party Luncheon" as possible. My dreams came true when I found the Elizabeth Park Gardens where our spring ceremony will be held because on the edge of the grounds is a gem called the Pond House Cafe. A little bit whimsy, a little bit artsy, and fun, The Pond House Café has a logo which incorporates a loopy swirl, reminiscent of the whimsy circle flowers on "Bloom".
I fell in love when I found our ceremony and reception location, I fell in love again when I saw the "Bloom" invitations, and I'm sure it'll be the same feeling when I find THE dress. These invites are so fun and elegant, and would be the perfect first glance at our fun botanical style wedding for our guests. All you have to do is see the Pond House Café entrance framed by multi colored birdhouses, lanterns, flowerbeds of violets, mums, cabbages, and purple/green coleus, to see how perfectly these exquisite and whimsical invites will complement our reception hall.
When determining our budget my fiancé and I decided to sacrifice invitations among other things in order to invite more of our family and friends, so this would be an opportunity to get something we couldn't otherwise afford!
Thank you for considering this entry, and creating such fabulous invitations that make bride-to-be's drool!
My favorite is bouquet! I have been looking for a design that reflects the simplicity and elegance of my parents' wedding invitations. Growing up, I have always admired the invitation, displayed in a frame in the hallway. This reminds me of the invitation I have always loved, and it reminds me of a very simple time. I want the invitation to show that the beauty of a wedding is love. This invitation style shows that concept perfectly! I love it!
I am in love with the simple elegance of the spring invitation. I am infusing pale pink and gray into my wedding and this invitation would work so well with it! It's the perfect invite that is so beautiful yet so simple. I am in love...
The invitation line "treasury" speaks to me because of its elegant yet urban, and classic yet chic style. These invites would convey the perfect message to my guests- that our wedding will incorporate the deep and meaningful traditions of our cultures, but will be accented with our own personal and quirky twist. I want the guests to know that from the beginning, and I think that this invitation would convey that that message flawlessly. Beautiful designs- thanks for the opportunity!
I LOVE letterpress! Caribbean lace would be perfect for my wedding, a formal spring wedding.
These are all amazing, but the vintage wrangler really jumped out at me. We're trying to keep things casual and fun, and that's exactly what those invitations are! They're perfect.
My favorite is the Copper Twist... The design looks to me like a fusion of an Indian henna design and a modern American logo. It would be great for my wedding because I'm looking for a fusion feel! Amazing giveaway. fingers crossed.
"BLOOM" invitations rocked my socks off!
They would go SO perfect with our Fiesta Themed Wedding! I need something that will pop, & those deffinitely did! THANKS SO MUCH!
I adore -- no wait, ADORE -- the bouquet set. (Makes you almost want to scratch and sniff, doesn't it?) Green, yellow, even pink -- I'd take any of them. We're DIY-ing our save-the-dates to save money. It's such a kick to imagine the surprise on my guests' faces, if those postcards (cute as they may be!) were then followed up by such elegant invitations! Ah well, a girl can dream...
I love "copper twist!" I can envision incorporating a vignette of the flourish design into my cake, bouquet and maybe even some of my bridal accessories. All of the Louella Press designs are so unique and beautiful. Any would be a great complement to my September wedding at The Craven's Estate in Pasadena!
I love "Vintage Wrangler" for it's modern flair and vnitage simplicity. Plus, it's super cute! I am entering for my girlfriend who (finally) just set a date with her fiance. We were talking on the phone this week about how overwhelming invitations are. How they set the mood of your wedding, she wants something informal but not so casual as a post-it note. These invitations are so "her". Even the green color in the sample picture on Louella is my friend Katie. She has a favorite pair of pajamas in college that were that exact color, Kermit the Frog green. But oh so classy.
Oh my... I love Spring and Honeycomb but my favorite is the Vintage Wrangler! We're having our wedding next summer and we're doing yellow and grey as our colors so this would perfect! Also, I love how the menu is in the shape of a circle! How unique is that?? The invitations would be just perfeect for our summer vintage garden wedding (it's an old school house). =D *crossing my fingers!!*
I'd definitely either pick Plume (we've got a slightly peacock theme) or Caribbean - both are lovely and will work wonderfully with my blues and greens. How pretty!
Your invitations are beautiful and very refreshing. They stand out and set the right tone for the wedding. I was browsing through the collections and number 06 in the custom selection stood out to me. I am doing a black, white and cranberry wedding on September 18, 2010. I know the sample is in navy and pink but I would love to see it in black, white and cranberry. I also like the texts on it. I am getting married in Rehoboth, DE. We are doing the ceremony and reception at a country club at 5:00. I am going for the romantic, elegant feel. The sample fits in perfectly for the mood I am trying to set. It's not too formal but just enough elegance to set the tone. We are doing a cocktail party. So it won't be a sit down dinner there will be food passed throughout the evening and stations set up with low-tops and high-tops all around the room. We are doing some white and cranberry shades of flowers throughout the whole wedding and lots of candle light. We also have a band that will be set up in a big white tent. I think black and white is elegant and you can never go wrong with it. The splash of cranberry adds to it in the right way. My dress is white silk organza with textured detail. I have a white sash that is silk organza with big flowers I am wearing for the ceremony than I will be changing into a black satin satin sash for the reception. I think that these invitation fit my wedding perfectly. They help complete the tone and feel of my wedding!
I look forward to being considered for the contest. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Cheers,
Lauren
My fiance and I absolutely love the Harvest collection. We have been working on our invitation search for weeks now and there are just so few we've seen that hit all the marks for us as this collection does. We are getting married on Mackinac Island in MI, and this simple and elegant invitation would be the perfect compliment to the classic and timless feel of the island.
I absolutely love Louella Press's stunning stationary and wedding invitations. They are clean, classic, very so tasteful, and elegant all at the same time.
My favorite design and the design most perfect for my wedding is the bouquet design. The designs in this collection are so fresh and full of life. Louella executes her designs meticulously and I am just in loving with the bouquet design. I would be honored to use these invitations to invite my guests to my classic, simple, small, and elegant wedding under giant oaks trees in the outdoors with touches of dahlias, lisianthus, lavender, and hydrangeas. The flowers in the bouquet design would give a taste of beauty to an already stunning environment. They would be the icing on the cake.
Thank you for creating such beautiful designs.
The "Harvest" design would be absolutely perfect for our Northern Wisconsin backyard wedding. Wow.
I like the "Bouquet" design. They would suit our outdoor California wedding beautifully!
All of Louella Press's gorgeous designs stole my heart, but the Vintage Wrangler style absolutely took my breath away! Our wedding style is eclectic... A little bit vintage, a little bit modern, a little bit whimsical, a little bit classic. These stunning invitations encapsulate the feel, style, and energy of our day and translate them onto beautiful paper. The sample in grey and yellow perfectly captures our wedding colors and is bright and cheery while still being laid-back and understated.
I'm already having visions of incorporating the vintage scroll motif and clean, classic style into our wedding! :)
I loved all the designs but the vintage wrangler is the invitation of my dreams. Its absolutely perfect and would be over the moon to be able to send such quality invitations to my guests :).
They are all very lovely and unique in their own way, but 'Copper Twist' is my favorite. It's simple yet elegant. Those are the two words I hope will describe our wedding. I don't want it to be fussy, but still very special. The Copper Twist is old world meets modern chic.
Oh, I love their designs! Their Bloom is definitely the best choice for our day though - fun, flirty, modern, with just enough of a 'wild' feel to it.
We have been searching for months for invitations that are casual yet elegant AND truly reflect our wedding style. We're having a garden ceremony on the grounds of an old European style mansion. This, plus our love for french details, has driven our "french country side inspired" wedding "vibe". Needless to say, the NOUVEAU invitations are absolutely perfect. Not to mention beautiful works of art!!!
The Spring design is absolutely PERFECT for our wedding! We are getting married in the spring, and soft flowers will be a huge focal point for our wedding. The flowers on the invitation are brilliant and catching, but don't take away from the content of the invitations, which is wonderful. I couldn't imagine my invitations without soft, simple flowers on them, as featured in the spring design. Absolutely perfect!!!
Belle all the way. It is so beautiful.
Beautiful designs! My favorite is Copper Twist. It would be the perfect invitation for our New Year's Eve wedding!
It would have to be the 'Mantilla', how gorgeous is that design?! I also checked out their etsy page and fell in love with the 'Tweet Thang' design, so cute!
Love, love, love! They are all simply adorable, but my favorite would be "Bloom." These invitations would fit perfect for our wedding mainly because we are having a garden wedding and they would stay with our theme! Also, my dress has a flower on the hip & I plan on having a flower in my hair for the reception. I've always been a flower kind of girl & my wedding is staying true to it! Great invitations!!
I LOOOOOOVE the Spring Collection. The detailing of the different material and texture of the cherry blossoms works perfectly with each paper texture. I love how the flowers "pop" ! So elegant and natural! This set will go perfectly with my wedding since I'm getting married in a Japanese Garden around April when the cherry blossoms are in season!!
Beautiful!
Pick only one!?!?
I could imagine a fantastic wedding to match any one of these gorgeous invites.
My personal style (and look of our wedding) gravitates towards the Vintage Wrangler. Its retro, its glamorous, and downright fabulous, darling!!
I'm la-la-loving the Caribbean lace invite. While many lace themed invitations are uber feminine, this one remains classic but stately in its contemporary typography paired with the flowing lace. It is absolutely perfect and I would LOVE to send this little beauty to our wedding guests!
I am loving vintage wrangler - and I need exactly 50 invitations, so winning this would be perfect! :)
I'm in love with the Spring invitations--the dark blue ones with the light colored flower fits our colors and the feel of our wedding perfectly. We are having a tiny wedding in Arizona- only 40-50 of our closest friends and family. The wedding will be an outdoor ceremony on a veranda over looked the mountains. These weddings are a great mix of elegance and the outdoors, and winning them would allow us to have the gorgeous invitations that we wouldn't be able to splurge on otherwise.
Wow! Harvest is completely what I've been looking for in wedding invitation. The detailing on the envelope flap sets the perfect mood for the beautiful simplistic design that's to come on the inside, and a sneak peak to our special day!
I love the copper twist invitations! They are so lovely!
The "bouquet" engraved wedding invitations are absolutely stunning visually and a perfect fit for my spring wedding next year. Our ceremony will be held outdoors in a lovely garden location. These invitations are both simple and yet extremely elegant and classy and would really help to set the tone for the type of wedding I am hoping to have. I love how intricate detailing on the flowers are!
My fiance' and I are planning a classic wedding that emphasizes the details. The timeless "bouquet" invitation is exactly what we have had in mind. We have been looking for an invitation that reflects our desire to share our appreciation of elegance and tradition with those that are most important in our lives. This is truly a keepsake and a memory of our wedding day that we will treasure forever. We appreciate the opportunity to include this beautiful invitation in our wedding plans.
My fiance and I love the Harvest invitations. We both love being outdoors. We are having an outdoor wedding at a historic estate. The Harvest invitations capture the feel that we are trying to create for our event. I especially love the envelope liners with the orange and brown colors. Thank you for the opportunity to have your beautiful invitations be apart of our wedding.
My favorite design is Copper Twist. I love the elegance and simplicity of it and it would definitely capture the spirit of our day. I can't think of a more beautiful way to invite our guests to celebrate with us.
I love the Vintage Wrangler! My fiance and I are planning a small destination wedding in Victoria. We are going with a vintage theme and these would be a great fit!
I like the honeycomb because of the simple pattern and clean look. I have a modern theme, and these would look lovely!
Beautiful designs :) I really love the 'nouveaux' colours and detailing, perfect for our countryside barn wedding :)
I adore the "Copper Twist" invitations ... there is something about the design that hits me as very personal ... fun, yet classy and just a bit on the elegant side. I have a feeling it would look stunning on the pearl paper, and give off just the right vibe for our summer, garden wedding!
What a wonderful giveaway! All designs are beautiful but the "caribbean lace" is whispering to me...."pick me" "pick me". We are having a breakfast/brunch wedding in an old 1920's hotel, so the softness of this design matches our vision. I'm already envious of whoever wins this!!
I've been waiting for a giveaway like this! I adore letterpress! I love Belle, because it's classic or the Bouquet , the bloom looks like a peony which is what we plan to use as our flowers or the Vintage wrangler {well lime green is one of our colors & we're using gray too} & we're here in Good Ol Austin, Texas so it fits perfectly
I think the Nouveau design is amazing! Our wedding will be a little eclectic with paper cranes and depression glass. My engagement ring is a gorgeous filigree ring from circa 1920 and has been the inspiration for the style of our wedding. I think that invitations in the nouveau pattern would definitely set the right mood.
The Vintage Wrangler caught my eye and would be perfect for our wedding because it perfectly reflects the vintage art deco style ring that my fiance chose for me and sparked our wedding theme. I love the juxtaposition of the dots and diamonds with the scroll motif.
I just got engaged in January but am already started looking at invitations. I will be getting married October 10 this year. I am planning a small wedding because I want it to be very intimate so 50 invitations would be perfect for me. Planning for this wedding has be difficult because my parents have not had jobs for over 2 years, so the budget is definitely tight. If I could get 50 invitations free that would so helpful and awesome! Letterpress invitations have been a favorite of mine for a long time but because they are rather expensive I did not thing it'd be possible. The Louella Press invitation that I love most is the Harvest. I am having an outside wedding with minimal decorations. I love that it would be an awesome compliment to my simplistic country chic wedding!
WOW! I LOVE Louella Press and the Bloom invitation style :) I love the simplicity of this summery design, which would compliment my DIY summer wedding perfectly! Thanks for this wonderful opportunity :)
We are getting married at the gorgeous Hans Fahden Winery (rustic, boutique http://www.hansfahden.com ) in Napa on September 19th - the Harvest invitation would be perfect for us. The seasonal style invitation is wonderful for our fall wedding in wine country - and I love the feeling of "rustic/boutique" in your invitations!
We would be thrilled to win!
Louella Press is amazing!! I love the spring invitations especially the delicate design and the colors used pink and orange. This matches perfectly with my wedding color theme orange and fuchsia pink.Letterpress invitations has been a favorite of mine and I would love to have letterpress invitations for my wedding. Thanks SMP!! This is a great idea.
They are all beautiful, but I love the understated "belle", simple, whimsical, sophisticated, delicate. It's a quiet, beautiful look that I think would set the tone for our wedding, which I hope will be an elegant, intimate moment for us and our families and friends. Understated yet stunning. What more could a bride desire?
Louella's designs are a beautiful marriage between classic elegance and modern simplicity. I love the use of a detailed large bloom in the bouquet design paired with minimal color and simple lettering. I am planning my low key outdoor summer wedding and this design sends the perfect message. Thank you SMP and Louella for this great opportunity.
I love the nature-focused simplicity of the Harvest design. We're getting married outdoors in the gorgeous Northwest and we want our wedding to reflect the beautiful natural, rustic elements we love about this region. I think the harvest invitations would set the tone for a relaxed, but elegant, celebration.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Hands-down, "Copper Twist," although "Plume" came in a very close second! "Nouveau" is my number three.
Copper Twist is exactly what I am looking for!
Oh I forgot to say why I am choosing Copper Twist:
1. it is beautiful
2. but it is also spontaneous
3. I feel like it somehow ties into the peacock theme... I can see it, but it may just be me.
4. It just fits with out personalities
5. I absolutely love it!
Wow, these are all amazing. I'm a sucker for floral, so I would choose Belle or Bouquet. Both have that vintage, romantic theme I'm going for! Thanks!
There are two that I totally fell in love with, may I choose two? Let's start with the Bouquet; the texture and the detailing of the flower is exquiste. It reminds of of my childhood, I would rumage through my mother's personal treasures and amoung them I would find the most beatifully shaped-floral pendant. The Bouquet desgin reminds me of it. Imagine having that beauty on your invitations? My colors are Raspberry and Chartruse and I envision the a Raspberry colored flower at the corner with a very light Chartruse background with Raspberry and Chocolate writing, magficient!!!
Now the Carribean Lace. This desgin is so intricate, I find myself again falling in love with the texture and detailing. I am a huge fan of the Jane Austen era and this design shadows me with it. Again, with my wedding coolors I would have the detail textures in Raspberry on a Pearl colored background. Awwww, that's lovely!
I would definitely chose the "Treasury" collection. My fiancee and I are having our ceremony and reception in a historic hotel (early 1900's - 1930's) so we are trying to replicate for our guests a feeling of coming to a grand event at the hotel. This design would lend itself perfectly to the overall feeling of grandeur and timeless elegance. The hotel is neo-classical or georgian in style which would pair amazingly with the simple detail of the "Treasury" invites. Let's make this perfect day even more perfect!
I love the Harvest collection! So simple and beautiful-- exactly what i want people to say about my wedding!
I would definitely choose the "Harvest" collection. My fiancee and I are having our ceremony and reception in a botanic garden so we are trying to get our guests in the mood for a fresh outdoor affair. Thank you style me pretty for this awesome giveaway.
oh my goodness can I just love all of them! They're beautiful. There's something so special about letterpress invitations. I especially love HARVEST because of it's simple design and earthy colors. We're getting marries in fall and I think these invitations would tie in beautifully to our rustic and small affair.
I absolutely looooooove the invitation designs at Louella Press. The Harvest collection is a beautiful complement to the natural elegance of our garden wedding and outdoor reception. I swoon at the thought of having such gorgeous letterpress invitations!
They are all absolutely stunning invitations and it was hard to pick just one, but I love the Spring collection which will compliment our planned wedding and reception in the park.
I never thought I'd marry this guy. Seven years ago, he seemed like the most arrogant, self-centered brilliant poet, telling me that I'm a brilliant poet too just to get me in bed. And here we are today, planning to share a life of wonders and passion. This is my Treasury.
I found my treasures in this man. In times when nothing seems poetical anymore, my man taught me that treasures can be found in all God's details. And today is the day I found myself in this fabulous Treasury collection. I closed my eyes and imagined our names written on those delicate yet eternally flattering save-the-dates... October twenty-third, the day of the Saint Apostle Jacob... and my grandma's tears holding the card, this marvelous piece of perfection...
Thank you, Louella, for this piece of treasure you put in my path!
I love the Vintage Wrangler suite! The curliques are stylish without being antiquated, and they'd be perfect in the bright spring green in the first picture for our May wedding! They're a little bit vintage, very classy, and very stylish. They fit the vibe I'm going for perfectly!
Louella's unique designs are all intricately beautiful with a modern twist! My finance and I have planned an elegant September ocean-side wedding, and out of all of the collections, we loved the Custom Design #3 most!! The ornate scrolls echo the location for our beachside wedding set in Newport RI perfectly! I could not find a more ideal invitation that matches our theme and personal tastes better!
Thank you, ladies of Louella Press!
I absolutely ADORE Louella's designs! They are amazing! My fiance and I love both the Jasmine and Treasury designs - but I really think the Treasury matches our relationship perfectly.
As I am American and my fiance is Asian Indian, the design is a little bit of East meets West and matches us perfectly! We were immediately struck by the stunning design - bold but simple and of course, gorgeous! : )
Please pick us!
I LOVE the bloom invites! Not only do they match my color scheme (which I hard since I picked a weird color) they have the big, bold flowers I'm so fond of - like sunflowers and gerber daisies. We're getting married in late summer, but wanted a fall wedding but the venue we loved was all booked! Which is why, in part, we still have fall colors; but with a summer twist - and the Bloom invitations fit the bill perfectly.
We're also paying for the wedding ourselves, so finding invitations has been a challenge!
Thanks Louella - for showing me we CAN find invations with fall colors and a summer theme.
Thank you for introducing us to Louella Press! These designs are beautiful... Understated but definitely eye-catching, which is exactly what we're trying to do with our wedding! The Vintage Wrangler suite is perfect for our vision for the wedding. The grey and yellow colors will go beautifully with the letterpress style, creating a laid-back vibe that's filled to the brim with style. Upon receiving these gorgeous invitations, our guests will know that they're in for a day filled with love, beauty, vintage touches, and wonderful style. These are such a great match for us!
The Copper Twist invitations are gorgeous - they immediately caught my eye because the design mimics my wedding Web site design! And, I love the combination of a modern, clean font with script. I've been searching and searching for the perfect wedding invitations, and I love these. Fingers crossed!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the vintage wrangler design. I am recently engaged and I love the geometric pattern, and both the modern and vintage feel of the font. It would be the perfect marriage between my style (more vintage-y and whimsical) and my fiances' (more contemporary and modern) (pun intended)!
i love the urban flourish! we are going for a vintage glam style very similar to a recent inspiration to reality feature. think: black & white toile, accents in shades of pink, champagne, and chandeliers. it's funny because i've been looking for a modern invitation with a vintage charm and these are THEM! so gorgeous.
I I have to say Louella Press has truly opened my eyes to such a distinct beauty which can be delivered in words on paper for such a special occasion.
The intrinsic details is what women such as myself value the most when looking for pieces of artwork such as your invitations. Artwork is what we want to deliver to our family members and closest friends to share with them this special moment when man and wife come together. We thought of this day since we were little girls and coming across a site such as Louella Press proves to us that things truly fall into place.
My eye is drawn to Belle and Bouquet although my personality and my character is completely Urban Flourish. Words can’t describe the detailed look and I’m sure feel that your company has done here. A beautiful Vineyard is where I will be sharing my day with family and friend. Your Urban Flourish fits the venue itself as well as my fiancé and I. Were both City people but decided on the beauty of the vineyard to capture our day. Urban Flourish depicts us to a tee and would be
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous collection and for giving us brides a chance to share your beautiful invitations...
These are the prettiest invitations I've ever seen. It's such a lovely detailed design. I'm having a July Garden Wedding on the water next summer and Bouquet Invitations would be perfect in my colors of navy blue and grass green. I can't wait to see them in person at Elizabeth Grace.
Wow...Louella Press has the invitation design I always wanted for our invitations. The spring design took my breath away. I want to incorporate my love for cherry blossoms and the color pink! It definitely fits with our Asian summer wedding.
Thank you for introducing Louella Press on here! :)
STUNNING... Although I haven't figured out the colors for my wedding just yet, I am on a mass scavenger hunt for the perfect invitation for my engagement party coming up shortly. It has been really important to me to begin this journey with the hopes of incorporating everything that I have always dreamt of. I just hope I can get off to the right start with being able to mail out the "treasury" invitation from Louella Press. Im looking forward to possibly having a company that is so dedicated to quality, perfection, and elegance doing my invitations for my engagement party, shower, wedding, and hopefully all the other spectacular events that are yet to come.
~ QUALITY ~ PERFECTION ~ ELEGANCE~
there is something so very quiet about the ‘harvest’ design, as if the branches are bending to a soft breeze. Perhaps the design is more than attractive because I see it as a metaphor for this wonderful relationship I have with my almost husband. in our six years together, we have always bent towards each other while learning along the way the importance of giving each other space to grow. If the invitation is the first moment when we as a couple get to ‘stage’ our relationship, then the ‘harvest’ design seems rather perfect in re-introducing ourselves to the friends and family who will be there with us when we exchange our vows.
i LOVE the copper twist. so elegant and gorgeous. it would work perfectly with the look we're going for. thanks for introducing me to yet another amazing company!
The Vintage Wrangler fits our Steampunk Vintage wedding theme perfectly. It has whimsy, masculinity matched with grace and a beautiful use of texture and shape. Our wedding is a stone courtyard ceremony followed by a vintage ballroom reception and this paper set would look amazing in our black, white and red color scheme. Absolutely beautiful letterpress!
Vintage Wranger! It's darling! We are having an outdoors "tea party" dessert/champagne wedding and these invitations almost look like tickets which is the feel we want! Not to mention we are only inviting 50 people! Love it!
I love the style of the "COPPER TWIST". The lines and forms leads the eye around the presentation of the invitations. It isn't cluttering the surface of the card(s). Where ever one looks, they'll be enchanted by the colours and lines. It's simple yet very fun and chic.
OMG!
My husband and I are renewing our vows and have been looking for budget-friendly alternatives to save money. You see, when I married him he was in the Army and about to deploy to Iraq. We had no time to plan a wedding and decided to say our "I Do's" at the local court house and promised ourselves we would get the chance to have our perfect wedding day in the future.
He is getting out of the Army at the end of 2011 and our Renewal date is set for our six year anniversary, April 14, 2012.
I checked out the site and fell in love with the "VINTAGE WRANGLER" invitations! They are absolutely adorable!
And if I do win, I'm only inviting 35 people, so I wouldn't need to full 50! YAY! Haha!
Letterpress invitations would be a dream for me. I lost my job in this economy (graphic designer) and plan to print my own invitations. These designs are stunning and I would be so lucky to win. If I could have my dream invite, it would be letterpress! One can only dream, and also enter a contest. PICK ME!
My fiancé introduced me to these invitations yesterday and I have been taken back by the delicate, yet eye-catching themes you display in your gorgeous prints. It is evident that time and thought has been put behind these memorable invites. The bouquet design seems to correlate well with the traditional southern garden wedding we will have. These invites will capture the theme of our Big Day to all who receive them but will leave our future guests curious of the simple however romantic event to come!
My fiance and I LOVE the vintage wrangler design as it reminds us of the decor in an old-fashioned ice cream parlor! Our wedding's theme is "Love is Sweet" and will be inspired by various sweets from chocolates to candies to cupcakes and more! We will even have a "Create your own Sundae" table at our wedding! We want our guests to be reminded of the joy and happiness that the sweetness of love brings! This invitation does just that~ and will bring smiles to the faces of all our guests!
Hello! Paper, I admit, is my weakness. I am old-fashioned and prefer writing letters to sending emails. In fact, my fiancé and I were long-distance for a year and a half (in different countries), and we sent many letters back and forth. I would walk to a paperie near my work regularly to pick out new papers for my letter-writing..and, like fabric, I had to touch the paper to make my decisions!
My fiancé and I both love old books and we appreciate the quality of the paper, binding, and printing. In fact, he won't buy books online because he wants to be able to touch them and see the paper first! I also spend forever in choosing paper for gift-wrapping (the rolls just never have the weight that I like)!
Your 'Bouquet' design is exactly the look that I have been scouring botanical art books for...the loveliness of 19th century botanical art, the exquisite feel of letterpress.. our wedding is going to be Edwardian and a celebration of our love of doing things the 'old-fashioned way'....letter-writing, handmade favors, and wax seals.
Thank you for your generous offer and for understanding the importance of paper!
I love Luella's Caribbean Lace because my wedding theme is the Edwardian era, and my gown is entirely covered with French Alencon lace. The invitation caught my eye because it's so classy and it reminds me of my lace trimmed custom mantilla and filigree jewelry.
i just love the vintage wrangler, in brown.
