Rehearsal Dinner by Mulberry Photography
In celebration of our pretty, new look, I am officially calling it casual Friday on the blog. I know, I know. It’s Tuesday. But, I’m in the mood to kick off my heels and have a party so that is just what we are going to do. We have a handful of FUN rehearsal dinners and engagement parties for you today, followed up by the most gorgeous wedding you’ve ever seen, all in the name of pretty. So let’s get started!
Our first party was photographed by the awesome team at Mulberry Photography and is exactly what a rehearsal dinner (or a great wedding) should be!
Our wedding itself took place on the shore of Lake Tahoe while the rehearsal dinner was just outside Truckee, at Lahontan. While Tripp and I certainly guided the process, the entire rehearsal dinner was orchestrated by Tripp’s mom, Glennis. She really outdid herself! The goal was to create a laid back western night and she really made sure every detail, from the fly-fishing to the fire-pit, added to that relaxed feel. Glennis hired a bluegrass band instead of something more country western (the amazing Silver Mountain String Band out of Los Angeles). It was a great start to our wedding weekend!

Squaw Valley is so gorgeous! I just love how open and expansive these shots make the area look. Do we know the venue?
Love the long wooden tables, any idea where one might find something similar to rent in Vail Colorado?
Location was Lahontan Club, not Squaw Valley, but the same expansiveness and beauty, if not more!
