I’ve never ventured to Oklahoma but after pouring over the images from today’s wedding, I think I am in need of a visit. The fields alone are enough to make me book a ticket. They definitely don’t make them like that in Southern California. Do we even have fields?
Aaron Snow was the man behind the camera and managed to capture all of the lovely, lovely details of Melissa and TD’s day. To say the wedding is gorgeous is an understatement; it is simple, elegant, rustic and modern all rolled up into quite the stunning package. Who knew that a cotton farm and modern lounge furniture could be such a wonderful combo? Throw in loads of moss pomanders hanging from the trees and you have a drool worthy wedding in the making.

From the Bride:
I grew up on the farm where I was married and my husband grew up in the next town over. We now live a few hours away, but both thought it would be a wonderful place to get hitched. Neither one of us is very fussy, we just wanted to have a good time with lots of great food, drink, music, friends and family. The setting was beautiful, so we didn’t need a lot of embellishment.
The day was perfect, if you discount the rain and ominous clouds that gathered right before the ceremony. Luckily, they cleared before the band fired up! I loved my caterer’s suggestion to serve family style. It fit right into the mood we were hoping for. I strayed a little from some of the usual traditions (no cake, no garter toss, etc) but added in a few things we both love: smores over an open fire and a gaggle of nieces under the age of seven, all dolled up to steal the show at the ceremony were just a few.
I also am overjoyed with how Aaron, the photographer, captured our day. I feel like I am back at the wedding every time I look at the pictures. They are so natural and spot on.
More in a bit from Melissa and TD’s day. Lets just say this party is about to get reallly good.

I LOVE these flowers! Do you know who did them? Such great pops of color with the white.
I really love this wedding...Being from Missouri, I love the simplicity and the use of the natural surroundings...
This has me singing The Dixie Chicks. Beautiful.
Beautiful pictures & GREAT ideas. We have just begun planning my Daughters wedding. She has been following your blog for quite some time. I have been in the wedding industry for years. Blogging is new for me. It's great to have new sources for Brides to get ideas & share their individuality. I will enjoy following your blog. Thanks for the great source!!!!
Beautiful bride, great wedding photos. Thank you
I have always been a sucker for that long rectangular table layout. It is a shame we don't have any location similar to this in Miami! Great wedding!
I love how the wedding reflects the spacious and open feel of the farm and isn't overdone. So effortlessly great!
So beautiful! What a great wedding!
SO in love with this! Such a beautiful blend of natural, rustic, chic elements with a twist of modern. And that dress is perfect!
Really I love this wedding!!!
This wedding definitely evokes a relaxed, simple yet thoughtful feeling and I LOVE it!
Love that photo of the horse shoe and the rings-- very unique!
I am also an Oklahoma bride so this wedding gives me some more ideas! I wondered if their wedding was near Altus, OK? That's where I'm plannning my June wedding and the Blossom Shop is one of my favorite florists.
Just in case the bride checks these...I'm wondering where you got the pretty flower for the little bridesmaid's hair?
I absolutely love Leese - Fitch wine! I tried it at the OC Fair a couple of years ago but have been unable to find it anywhere since. What a great wine to serve at a wedding!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures!
