We pretty much never feature bridal showers on SMP but after seeing this adorable little fete, I am officially putting them on our must have list. Planned and designed by Jeannie at Details Details for her cute friend Grace, the details behind this shower are basically what I want my entire life to look like. Sweet, pretty, and completely girl. Oh and the lovely Chenin Boutwell snapped the darling pictures so you really get to see this little gem in all its girly perfection.

From Jeannie at Details Details…
I titled it “shower with love”, as I am the Matron of Honor for Grace’s wedding. I really wanted her to have a beautiful shower, something that was completely her style….cute and pretty, soft and sweet. I got cake stands from Williams Sonoma in pink and yellow and filled them with cupcakes. Cupcakes were customized with baby sugar flowers. The empty cupcake boxes were placed into fabric bags that I made, placed at each seat. Then at the end, everyone could fill up their favorite flavor. I think chocolate with vanilla frosting and white chocolate sprinkles was the most popular. Fresh, soft, happy colors….Grace loves pink. We paired it with the color butter as the patio has yellow tones. Grace and I would make flower pens during college, so I thought it would be fun to remind her of those times, since we needed pens for the Grace letter. A letter that each guest would fill out of their memories of Grace (later to be scrap booked) I bought mini vases from a craft store and had a local florist fill them with peonies, tulips, garden roses and sweet peas. They were scattered down the center of the table, lined by a light pink silk dupioni runner. Glass bottles from Anthropologie, which I borrowed, added to the garden like setting. Fun, bold cocktail rings were also another party favor…embedded into flower pots and green lily stands. All the girls had fun picking their ring! Thanks to Nichelle who made all the paper goods, from the adorable invite, to the menu card, even the welcome straw tags.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shower! SO beautiful!
absolutely gorgeous! and i love what you said "the details behind this shower are basically what I want my entire life to look like. Sweet, pretty, and completely girl." oh, any idea where she found that lovely shower dress?
this is AMAZING! looks like she picked the right matron of honor! :)
Wow- honestly, if you have the money, you can make anything beautiful! Gorgeous shower :)
i love this! so feminine...
How gorgeous!! Who wouldn't flip over a bridal shower like this? This little event has a style all its own and I just adore how blown away the bride to be looked.
Wow, this shower is gorgeous! Abby, please do feature more showers. For those of us whose weddings have past, but are in the middle of throwing shower after shower for our friends, Style Me Pretty inspirations are wonderful! Of course many wedding details can be translated into showers and other parties, but it is still nice to see an actual shower. Keep them coming!
I totally agree that SMP should do more "bridal showers & rehearsal dinners", not just weddings. It is all part of the entire process anyway and important steps to getting married.
This one is so pretty, congrats Grace and good job to the bridal party. That must have been some hard work. It looks gorgeous.
i agree! gorgeous shower. and i think that dress is from mod cloth: http://bit.ly/bbYsZd it's been on my lust list for awhile so i recognized it instantly!
that is so sweet! we love chenin!
xoxo
Just so so pretty! Perfect flowers, stunning invitations and paper details...and um, where can I find one of those cupcakes, like, right now?!
I too would love to see more of the wedding-surrounding events on SMP - or maybe even a new special section just for them? Those of us who aren't necessarily brides, but who love weddings and have friends getting married (and therefore will be planning showers and other parties!), love the inspiration for these events too!
Darling! It's so sweet and pretty....could be a beautiful baby shower even!
Awesome!!! MORE posts on showers please!!!! This is the reason I scour this blog! I use the wedding ideas for the bridal shower, bachelorette and other parties I have to plan!! :)
what is the drink they made .. it looks really cute. do they have a recipe
I love bridal shower shoots! I wish more brides did them :) This shower has such cute details, especially the lemony drinks with little "welcome" flags
Wow what an amazing bridal shower. I love everything about it and especially love the fun cocktail rings and take home cupcakes.
This is gorgeous! I love the flowers, the invitation, the favors, and the colors.
I love it! I love her expression. I love the flowers and her name goes so well with all the details
I love the cupcakes! All the details are so feminine and delicate! LOVE it.
This is super cute! I love all the clean details!
Jeannie is so incredibly talented and Chenin's photos captured her work beautifully! So luck to have these two ladies in my area!
What a beautiful and delicate party! I would love to see more showers on SMP...for the ones who have been married for a while, but LOVE seeing gorgeous party ideas that we can translate into another affair.
Thanks for sharing!

i love this! i am planning two bridal showers this year, so i'd love some more shower inspiration!
Where did they get the Crystal bottle toppers?
This is just too adorable for words! The color palette is so girly and the style is timeless. Bravo!!
Nevermind...I see they are from Anthropologie...Really cute look!!
I'm in the middle of planning a shower for my sister-in-law to be and this is sooo up her allie! I definitely love the cute fabric bags to hold the cupcake boxes and the rings are precious!
LOVE the colors and the countless detail that went into this Bridal Shower. And, the photos are wonderful. Well done!!
This is the an awesome shower! It's so gorgeous and all the details are perfect!
Where did the adorable fabric come from????
All around lovely with lots of original touches. My favorite detail is leaded glass bottle toppers.
Very pretty colors and details!
Bridal showers are great because all that pretty is encapsulated and often details that aren't affordable on a large scale can be done on a smaller scale for the bride and her close friends. It'll probably make your job harder, but more showers would be great!
I love all of the teensy little touches of yellow - and that banner, so adorable!
This is such a darling wedding shower! I will definitely be using some of these ideas for my best friend's shower. I love the idea of using letters and monograms, and spelling the bride's name out was very personalized and cute. Using yellow to give the shower pops of color was great!
I also want my life to look like this! Its beyond words!!!
Very pretty and soft. I love the colors!
Great bridal shower. Very nice.
Curtis
May I ask where the cocktail rings are from? I love them!
Wow I cant believe who is creating all these silly posts. Your content is quality and it attracts many amounts of these types posts. take care and thanks for the work!
please can you give me tips on how to manage and prepare a bridal shower, i am the maid of honor of my sister and she'l have her bridal shower this month, and i dont have any idea regarding bridal shower paties.... it is my first time to conduct such party.
Wow...what a gorgeous shower!!!!!! I absolutely adore Grace's style, and she is certainly lucky to have a MOH with such great taste. I'm in the wedding planning process for my Februarly 20100 wedding, and I know my MOH (my sister) is already planning my bridal shower. But I haven't even registered yet *oops*! I'm probably going to create my registry online, and I'm leaning towards using MyRegistry.com because they have an iPhone app that allows you to scan product barcodes when you are in the store and add those scanned items right to your online registry. Where did Grace register? I'm open to some last minute suggestions, and would appreciate them coming from someone whose shower was at fabulous as Grace's :)
The cupcakes were a brilliant idea, and they look delicious! Great craftsmanship on the plants/mini vases.
To Justine, MyRegistry seems like a pretty good idea as they keep everything centralized and like you said they have an iphone app. Let us know who you end up going with.
Those cupcakes look delicious! So cute. Those little cards with the letters of Grace's name are a gorgeous idea too. It looks like it was a really lovely event, and Grace looks so beautiful and happy.
STUNNING! These details would make a darling baby shower as well.
Wow what a sweet shower. I have been looking for decoration ideas and I got so much inspiration from this one in particular. I love the cupcakes as centerpieces and the handmade bags for them to go into so guests can take them home. This could be easily used in a baby shower too!
I love this Shower - beautifully designed and with such a wholesome natural feel. I would definitely like to see more Bridal Showers if this is the quality!
