This wedding is all about the pretty. It’s East Coast style done to perfection with a little bit of prep, a little bit of pure elegance and an incredibly lovely understated style. Planned and designed by the forever fab Elizabeth Bailey Weddings and photographed by one of the best, Arthur Remanjon, all of you East Coasters are totally going to fall for this perfectly pretty affair.

We are so sad to say that the photographer behind this beautiful day, Arthur Remanjon, passed away shortly after the wedding. We hope that this feature speaks for itself as to just how talented, just how lovely he was. We are so honored to be able to brag about him here today.
This cute couple was all about personality. Little things, like the steel band for cocktail hour and the blue crab lollipops that served as escort cards, made the wedding that much more charming. They went for a laid back preppy style inspired by the fantastic color palette of the sea and the grounds. With green paper lanterns decorating the ceremony aisle, ring bearer pillows made of bright green flowers, blue sea glass chargers and a collection of antique silver vases and pitchers used as centerpieces…the wedding married the seaside theme with a sense of understated elegance. As for bride’s favorite detail…the monogrammed “L” for her new last name that was threaded through different elements, from the moss monogram hanging in the tree to the linen monogram dinner napkins that were given as gifts after the wedding.

I LOVE this! I am so happy that there have been more contemporary weddings featured lately. The color combinations here are just perfect - they're crisp and clean - like you can almost smell that ocean breeze! Something about that nautical blue and apple green is so pleasing to my eye. This is just lovely. I adore her blue Manolo's, too!
How lovely and sweet. Tragic to hear about the photographer.... he did a beautiful job.
I'm glad to see an East Coast wedding featured...I feel as though there are not as many of those featured as CA and West Coast weddings...Also, I completely agree with Heather about the contemporary weddings...It is nice to see some new and refreshing ideas on SMP. Thank you for sharing!
This is beautiful! Is there anyway to find out who made the bride's dress?
The photos are breathtaking! I love the first two shots from the top. The letter L made of flowers tied to a tree with a white ribbon is fascinating, romantic and unspeakably beautiful. The beaming bride looks stunning in her flowing white wedding gown.Congratulations!!!
What a gorgeous color palette...love the consistent thread of the bright green flowers that ties it all together. This is a wedding that will look timelessly elegant 50 years from now!
This is an absolutely beautiful wedding and Arthur captured it with perfection. He had a great eye for telling a story through his photos. I miss him dearly. Beth, there is no end to your planning perfection...this wedding has your influence written all over it.
@Jennifer - the brides dress is by Amsale I believe. Looks like style "Bali" with a modified neckline
Hooray for an East Coast wedding!!! These Western weddings are lovely but as a Bostonian I'm very excited to see more East Coast venues!!
Stunning images and color palette choices for the wedding. Love the green and the location of the wedding. Breathtaking.
Love the mom's outfit! Sassy!
Love this! Does anyone know what size the paper lanterns used on the chairs for the ceremony are? We have those same chairs and this is a brilliant way to decorate them. Thanks!
hmmm... they look like their 10"... I'll see if we can find out...
Beautiful bride, beautiful day, beautiful wedding! So beautifully captured in these photographs by Arthur Remanjon.
In accepting the NACE Arthur Remanjon Inspirational Member of the Year Award, Carl Brashears said that "this is for all of you who get up and get better every day." That was Arthur - he wanted every wedding he did to be his best work yet. Lisa and her family will forever have these works of art to remind them of all the love on this happy day.
This wedding was so much fun, seeing the pictures brings back a lot of great memories. Elizabeth did an AMAZING job with all of the details for a gorgeous Maryland wedding, right down the blue crab lollipop favors (not pictured).
Arthur was a great guy and had a great eye, it's still surreal to me that he's gone. His work lives on, he gave so many couples the gift of fabulous wedding photos that they will treasure.
EAST COAST!!!!! love it. dress is divine. where did the guys get the suit, im trying to find good ones for my groomsmen!
Gorgeous! I love her choice of colors and her gown is so beautiful!
LOVE the dress! And of course, the shoes are to die for. The whole affair looks fresh and simple in the best possible way, bravo!
Yeah! I was the MOH in this wedding. Lisa worked so hard and the day was so beautiful and fun.
Dress is Amsale and guys's suits were from Express. Not sure she would recommend them though bc I know there were issues w/ shipping and suit sizes. They looked fantastic though. I'm sure she'll chime in at some point though w/ the rest of the details. :)
The dress is by Amsale...style "Coco". Beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous wedding and photos. The colors are so clean and crisp. I love her sweet dress and choice of floral.
Beautiful! Where are the BM dresses from. I LOVE that they are all different!
Love that dress and the colors are so pretty!
Finally, East Coast style! I'm from Maryland, pretty close to Annapolis in fact. I love seeing weddings (especially one as beautiful as this) featured! Love, love, love!
Thank you so much for all of the great comments! The BM dresses were by Thread. I had such a great time planning my wedding. Beth Bailey was wonderful and really helped to bring my vision to life. Arthur was such a wonderful person, we were very honored to have him photograph our wedding. Thanks to all of the wonderful vendors who really made the event the best day ever!
RIP Arthur....a true class act! The girls at Romance of Flowers were just talking about you the other day.....we miss you!
And on a side note.....as a vendor, the Gibson Island Club is a wonderful venue to work with--true professionals!
The bride's dress is stunning and I LOVE those flower ring "pillows"!
this is beautiful! i have to agree with the others saying it's great to see more contemporary weddings. while i love the vintage look, that's about all i've seen lately and i need inspirations for my modern wedding! thanks so much!
What a perfect preppy, East coast wedding! That bride looks beautiful in that Amsale dress and I love the navy and green palette.
The bride's face when she's walking down with her dad = priceless.
So sorry to hear about Arthur. What an amazing note to end on. I am in love with the palette. Damn those east coasters and their lovely everything. I need a vacation there!
Where are those beautiful centerpieces from?!?! Love the wedding!
I love the pictures! I am going with the same color palette...and I would love to know where the navy shoes are from??
This is one of the most exquisitely beautiful weddings I've ever seen -- I've been fortunate enough to see many of Elizabeth's weddings (which, without fail, always feature the most unique and stunning little details) but this one very well may take the cake! And, of course, Arthur's photos capture every bit of the gorgeousness of this event and the couple's love. What a wonderful tribute.
Is it possible to find out where the guys got their suits? I love the cream-white color!
I believe the guys' suits were Express.
Are they paper lanterns attached to the chairs for the ceremony?
the brides dress is Amsale called "coco"

Another triumph Beth! I can't help but think all of the guests went home raving about it. I'm really sorry we weren't there to capture this one. The photos by Arthur as usual are exquisite. His passion for life and artstry is already sorely missed.
The bride made excellent choices with Arthur and Beth. In the many years working with both of them the bar was consistently raised to lofty heights. I can often recall thinking that the settings she created and he captured were something you might see in an exclusive magazine (and many times deservingly were). How incredible is it that their clients get to live out their own individual visions with the guidance of such creative and astute professionals. Arthur was a rare, incredibly talented breed and his legacy was sealed many years before his departure.
LOVE the colors, LOVE that dress ! Beautiful, beautiful wedding...
Lisa (the bride) was the ideal client. She has wonderful taste, a great vision and pulled all her ideas together to create a chic waterfront wedding. I am so glad that she is featured on everyone's favorite wedding blog, Style Me Pretty. The comments here are very nice and a tribute to Lisa's smart fashion sense. It was a honor for me to be part of her wedding team and we all have fond memories of her beautiful wedding day.
Love the touches of light blue, paired with the navy and green. Especially in the bow ties - and that extra touch of blush with the peonies is beautiful and elegant.
simply stunning! loving the bright green and dark navy blue color palette! love her manolos! and i am loving the darling floral green ring pillows! thanks for sharing!
Does anyone know where the bridal party shoes are from?

I love the green and blue accents! So pretty and elegant.
Love everything about this wedding...the Mom's dress was sassy indeed! Loved it! The flowers are stunning, the pops of green pom flowers were very modern and fresh. Well done.
I'm getting married in annapolis and this wedding is such an inspiration!! Any way to get pictures of the blue crab lollipop favors? Sounds adorable!
Where are guys ties from???i have been searching high and low for green, white and navy stripe ties.
Amazing wedding!
What an AMAZING wedding. Navy and green represent!
Beautiful wedding and lovely photos. Sorry to hear about Arthur Remanjon, and thank you for "bragging" his artwork.
Did anyone find out what size the paper lanterns are that are hanging from the chairs? These are the same colors i'm going to use for my wedding, I love these pictures!!
The ties were from www.boardroomties.cm, the hanging lanterns were 12" the Crab Lollipops were from www.lollipopcreations.com. The earings were from Thomas Knoell Designs NY. Bridal Party shoes were from Blue Tux and then dyed lime green. My shoes were from Bergdorf Goodman.
Thanks,
Lisa
I like the lady who married today because she is so beautiful and the sun is so nice.
