It’s Chantale, once again from La Belle Bride, and I’m back with some more pictures of this eclectic wedding that combines eco-chic, vintage and a touch of modern, all rolled up into one sleek and charming wedding.

Style-wise this wedding is truly a treat, isn’t it? For me, yellow and gray are two colors that look fabulous together. The color scheme seems to flow perfectly throughout the day from the flowers to the seating cards, right down to the tablescape. All this and I haven’t even gotten to that darn cute bike yet. I’m all about props for engagement/wedding pictures and I am just lovin’ that adorable bike in their photos. It’s almost too much cuteness for me to take today. I gotta go lie down.
More from our gorgeous bride, Baovy:
I really enjoyed how resourceful I was in planning DIY projects. I had bought gray fabric and asked one of my bridesmaid’s moms to sew table runners. With the leftover fabric, my bridesmaids and I made chair sashes and also covered an old memo board to display escort cards. The escort cards were handmade from extra invitations printed on recycled paper. We diligently cut and glued the surplus invitations and reply cards to make cute escort cards. Pinning them to yellow ribbon with mini clothespins was the final touch.
We donated to the Lance Armstrong Live Strong Foundation in lieu of traditional wedding favors. This was especially close to my heart, as I have had many family members pass away to cancer, including my beloved mother.
Above all, we wanted our wedding to be a fun and special celebration with our friends and family. Despite getting married on one of the coldest days known to Texas, our guests were warm with the love and laughter that filled our beautiful wedding. Vu and I could not have been happier with how everything turned out!

Dear Bride -
Should you care to share, where did you find the gray and yellow striped ties for the groomsmen? Wasn't sure if those were Zara as well or if they were found elsewhere. Love.
Thanks -
Another Yellow & Gray Bride ;-)
What a sweet, lovely day. Beautiful job on the grey tags with yellow ribbons! And being an Austinite myself...I especially love the Live Strong donation!
hi! i love how beautifully simple your blog is!!!
can you share with me what program or how you create your collage for all the pictures you post on your blog?
i know there are templates, and ways to do it in photoshop and other software, but i love the you have showcased so many photos without taking up so much room.
i used to make layouts in a program i loves, but it now discontinued.
thank you so much:)
heidi
Heidi. All of us use different tools to create the image layouts. Some of us Illustrator or Photoshop. We also have a really cool board builder... you can check it out right here: http://circle.stylemepretty.com/inspiration-boards/ You'll need to create a Style Circle account.
Nice clean lines really make this wedding beautiful as well as this blog! The flower arrangements are just exceptional!
Beautiful wedding. I love the grey and white!
But most of all, I love her dress. I just looked on the San Patrick website and they have tons of dresses....by any chance does anyone know the name or style number of this bride's dress?
Thank you so much!
Hi Heidi - I used Adobe Fireworks for this specific post. But I know a ton of people who use Illustrator. Hope that helps!
Great diy ideas at this wedding...love the style :)
We had a blast documenting Baovy and Vu's wedding day! Thanks so much for featuring our work!
What a beautiful scene! Where did those adorable little birds on the branches come from?
I love the whole thing!
Hi Katy, my dress is actually White One style #411, which I think is associated with San Patrick (both names are on the label). It is also similar to (or the same as) the La Sposa Fanal. I purchased mine in the oyster color and absolutely loved it!
AMAZING wedding. I am also a Yellow/Gray bride (with splashes of Raspberry). The moment I laid eyes on this palette it just spoke to me. It said: romantic, rustic, happy, homey, warm, inviting, chic, timeless, approachable, lovely. Yellow is a 'happy' color, as my late grandmother would have said. I'm so excited to see my photos after looking at Baovy's. These make me so HAPPY. I'm sure you feel the same when you look at them! Congratulations.
the details of this wedding are amazing - love the creative seating chart - love the gray/yellow hang tags!
The yellow and gray work extremely well!
Simply stunning! I'm picking out linens this week and was looking for a color to pair with a summery bright yellow, and this wedding definitely has me leaning toward gray. Also, I was super excited to see that The Nichols did the photography (since I'm using them, too!), since the photos turned out amazing.
What a lovely, personalized event!
