Nautical Wedding Color Palette ~ Blue and White + Green

February 2nd. 2010 by Eddye | Filed Under | 24 comments

Lauren & Dan only had a couple of requests when it came to their wedding … that it be by the water and that it be nautically-inspired. Little Black Book favorites, Elizabeth & Karrie, at Posh Paperie took their thoughts and ran with it!

Lots and lots of pretty … but my favorite thing? Hand-painted lanterns! (I could totally do that!)

Another fun thing? Lauren’s sister (and a friend) created chandeliers out of wine and champagne glasses. Pretty cool!

The bridesmaid dresses are from Vineyard Collection by Priscilla of Boston, style 1508 in satin yoryu. They are truly that stunning in every color available!

Wow-It's amazing how they got everything to match.

I especially love how their invitations carried their theme all the way through. I love the idea of a flat invitation with a unique cut. I think they'd go really well with the clear address labels from Bachcroft which I'm using for my save the dates as well.

    thanks for the post!

Navy is so classic, maybe even more so than black. It looks so amazing with the silver!

I love the blue and white theme! Any pictures from the reception? Did you use blue for linens?
    Thanks!
