You guys know just how much I love Jose Villa. He is like my photography idol if having a photography idol is a real thing. Anyway, Jose often works hand in hand with one of THE best cinematographers I know, Joel Serrato. And if individually they are incredible, together they are kind of genius.
Amazing. Absolutely beautiful.
One of our commenters said that it wasn’t surprising to see that this wedding was sent to us by Caroline. So true. Her work is always spot on gorgeous so when I see her name in my inbox, I get a little giddy. But aside from Caroline’s perfect pictures, what I really love about today’s featured affair is the total sweetness behind the couple, their sense of design and their approach to wedding style. It’s just so cute, so charming…so obviously easy to fall in love...
We have the sweetest wedding for you today. The bride was an avid SMP reader throughout the planning process (which is always fun to hear) so she found lots of her ideas right here tucked inside the blog. And while we have all of the details from the bride coming up in just a bit, I thought that we could first simply devour the gorgeous photographs of the day that Caroline Tran captured…

If there was one wedding on Style Me Pretty that I could honestly say was the most popular…it would easily be photographer, Jessica Claire’s unbelievably gorgeous wedding that Jose Villa shot. We all went absolutely bananas over the detail and the beauty that went into every element of the day. Well guess what. Jessica also happened to bring on Julie and Alex of...
Sometimes …. I just need to go out there and take a look for myself! I need to go out onto our Little Black Book members’ blogs and see for myself what they’ve been up to. Don’t get me wrong, we have tons of weddings waiting to be aired, but as I said, sometimes … I just need to SEE for myself!
My first stop was on...

So, today is a big day for Christian. He actually just rolled out a pretty, sparkly, completely gorgeous new website that showcases his work, along with the incredibly photographers that shoot with his brand. If you are ever feeling even a little bit in need of some wedding inspirations, start with Christian’s site. It’s pure wedding insanity.
And to add to the eye candy that we’ve been sharing today, here...
After the incredibly thoughtful feature that Christian did for us about how to work with (and get the most out of) your photographer, I thought it might be fun to show you a few of the real weddings that the Christian Oth team has shot. Perfect examples of just how important finding that relationship is in getting the most beautiful wedding photographs ever.
This wedding was held at the Harold Pratt House in New York, shot by...
We work with so many great wedding photographers on Style Me Pretty. In fact, it’s the gorgeous photographs that really give Style Me Pretty life, so it’s an understatement to say that finding the right photographer is beyond important. So important in fact, that we’ve asked one of the world’s best photographers, Christian Oth, to stop by and share some of his tips for getting the most out of your...
Guess what! The fun isn’t over yet. Sarah and Rupert actually had Matt Bass shoot a fun little film that the couple edited after the day was said and done. Yet another fabulous DIY project and one that you know they will love for the rest of their life.

A HUGE congrats to this adorable...
This is a DIY wedding dream come true (as one of our readers appropriately coined). Even better than that, it’s filled to the brim with spunk, personality and total charm. Which you know I love. The bride, who happens to run a cute, cute, cute little company called Smitten Studio, went above and beyond, crafting the most perfect details a girl could ever want. And lucky for us…...
Here is the insane laundry list of the adorableness that the bride crafted for this perfect wedding…all of the paper goods, the table linens, the flowers (yep, the flowers), the fans/programs, the photobooth and the mustaches for the booth, the candy buffet and candy bag favors, the cake toppers, the hanging monograms, the paper funnels for confetti. This is not just a DIY bride, this is THE DIY bride. She made sure that every project that she crafted had her signature style on it, that...
What an eye-popping image this first one is today! From Jennifer Lindberg Wedding Photography.

You are going to DIE when you see this next wedding. It’s beyond charming, beyond adorable and to top it off, the bride did basically all of the details on her own. It’s a total DIY affair from top to freaking bottom and in the little areas that she didn’t craft, she brought on the best vendors, the most talented group of people. Like the always awesome Jessica Johnston, who provided the picture perfect...
