Those are adorable! I'm having a formal ballroom wedding. Thanks!
My wedding sytle is warm and unique. Set into a modern loft in the downtown Kansas City area with beautiful honey-colored wooden flooring and exposed beams. Amidst twinkle lights and plush couches we will wed in the month of october with warm scarlet, gold, and orange flowers off-setting the jewel toned purple bridesmaid gowns.
Those are so cute! My wedding style is classic and a little vintage.
Wow...these are lovely. It's not my wedding but my sister's wedding that I am helping to organise - it's an outdoors, spring wedding at a waterfront restaurant, with a colour theme of whites, pale blues and pale aqua - like the sea. Lucky I have a year to organise it!
Really lovely. Our wedding is alternative retro/vintage glamour in an old military armoury house in the middle of a capital city. Thanks!
Love these!! I am having a beach wedding with a nautical/travel theme.
My wedding style is natural and organic. I am using a lot of white, beige, green, brown, etc. My wedding is April 24 and I wanted everything to feel clean, fresh, and new ... just like Spring.
I have loved those bowls for months, but hadn't even thought of what a wonderful bridesmaid gift they would make! What a perfect personalized gift for the women in our lives that mean so much! We are having an casually elegant whimisical (enough adjectives? haha) wedding in June!
Our wedding style is definitely modern. A black and white color scheme with pops of bright color in monochromatic fashion. Our venue also lends itself to our modern style with its huge glass windows and view of the city skyline. Thanks so much for the giveaway. I've been in love with these bowls since early in my engagement.
Our wedding is very local focused, seasonal, natural - trying our best to make a 200-person party feel intimate and welcoming!
Our wedding style is old hollywood/ retro style.
I love these little dishes.....i would have it say, 'shut up, don't say that!' which is what i said after the first time my fiancee said i love you to me. good thing he stuck around.
hope we win!
Good Morning SMP :) Our wedding style is rustic meets vintage meets antique. Our reception venue is a 150 year old barn, that's been restored. It's so beautiful, it isn't actually a wedding venue, but I was able to convince the owner to let us have our reception there. I refinish antique furniture into shabbychic style http://www.facebook.com/#/album.php?aid=108118&id=505313737 I will be bringing some of my pieces to the barn and vintage cakestands and vases will adorn the tables. All the said those plates would look sooooo awesome on the barn walls as part of the decor and then of course in our new to us renovated home :)
Sophie
Our wedding style is a little bit vintage, with overtones of clean and modern thrown in.
My wedding style is backyard chic.
My wedding style is 'Coastside Cocktail.' It's taking place on the coast in Northern California and the style is inspired mainly by elements of the environment there: the huge waves, eucalyptus, driftwood. These bowls, which echo shells without being too literal, would be a wonderful element to add to my wedding!
Our wedding style is traditional with hints of modern and romantic flair thrown in!
My wedding style is English Country Vintage
These dishes are awesome! Love the idea as a bridesmaid gift too :) We are getting married this May and are trying to incorporate a lot of "green" items (as well as the color of my bridesmaid's dresses!) I've also worked with many esty.com sellers to support small business owners. I believe you can keep things affordable but also one of a kind with a little bit of effort.
Our wedding style is classic and sophisticated - black bridesmaid dresses and linens with bright flowers in pinks and reds.
So cute! :) Our wedding is classic with romantic, personal touches. For example, we're giving music CD favors since my fiancé and I love music so much and the ring bearer will carry the rings on my mother's old Bible instead of a pillow. :)
Our wedding will be preppy with a touch of whimsy!! The colors are bright and colorful: fuschia, yellow, red and turqouise!
I got one of the Paloma Nest bowls for our wedding and it was SO beautiful! Came in an adorable package... and was so nice that we could personalize with our wedding date and a special saying. Our ring bearer carried it and now we have this awesome keepsake. Highly recommend!!!
We are having a Pride and Prejudice wedding. An elegant, rustic and simple soiree with lace, wood, tea cups and french country food, on a friday afternoon!
I'm having a spring wedding in a vineyard. My wedding style is romantic, rustic, shabby chic, and very laid back. I was inspired by these beautiful photos of Provence, France so my colors are lavender, green and light aqua. I absolutely adore these little bowls and think they would make a lovely addition!
Love Paloma's Nest! We're doing a vintage southern wedding in Austin :)
love palomas nest's stuff! elegant rust garden wedding!
I have been admiring these bowls since I saw them on your site! They are amazing and would fit perfectly into my garden chic with a twist of modern theme.
I have had my eye on these! They're so pretty. Our wedding style is going to be clean and fresh with a lot of white and green apple (color and actual green apples!). Thanks for offering this great contest!
Our wedding style is a casually elegant garden party.
Our wedding style is casual and cheery! We are using the bright happy colors of sunshine yellow and grass green with some white to keep the colors grounded. We want everyone to feel relaxed. And relaxed, casual, and cheery are the perfect words to describe us as a couple. :)
These are super cute, and would make great gifts for all the ladies helping me out for the big day. Our wedding style is traditional with pops of colour and fun.
My style is Classic and Southern Traditional. I'm a born and raised southern girl at heart.
too cute! my wedding style was cocktail casual. Thanks for the opportunity!!
These are adorable! And ever since I got engaged I have been looking for a great ring bowl or stand. My wedding is going to be rustic chic with lots of creams, golds, tans and hints of deep raspberry! Thanks for sharing
These are so cute! My wedding style is pretty traditional. There will be modern hints though!
These are so perfect! I love how dainty the font is. My wedding style is 1920s hollywood classic. I'm getting married in Downtown LA!!! This would be a perfect way to shoot our wedding rings with the saying "I LOVE U MORE". Its something my fiance and I argue over... I love him more!!!
I have loved these for so long! We're having a modern styled wedding with some southern flair in early summer of 2011.
I have seen these bowls on several wedding blogs and love them! The quotes are so unique on each. I am from Cape Cod, so the theme of our wedding is summer beachside, with the incorporation of a lot of nautical items and hydrangeas.
I am calling my wedding "modern romantic." I love modern elements but don't want to lose the romance of a traditional wedding. I love these bowls! Hope I'm the random winner! Keep up the great blogging!
Such an awesome giveaway! Mine is a romantic, vintage, whimsical feel with a whole lot of love everywhere.
simple and classy, love it!
My wedding style is all me. Unique, simple, modern, timeless and eclectic. This blog is fantastic.
I have been in love with those bowls forever. Yay for this awesome giveaway. Okay, my wedding style is somewhere between "rustic elegance" and "barn whimsy". :)
We're getting married next October in an old fashioned (with a touch of whimsy) outdoor wedding. Can't wait! These bowls are beautiful.
Classic with a little vintage...but I can easily be swayed into modern, whimsical or eclectic...the possibilities are endless!
Wow - These are fantastic! I'm getting married at a modern art museum, and everything is going to be modern, clean and white. These would fit in perfectly! I can't wait to surprise my fiance with my nickname for him on one of these bowls.
My wedding style is cheery rustic - we are having a summer barn wedding! :) We are also trying to do things simple and maybe a little outside the norm. Our guestbook with be a bench that people sign and we are using log slices as centerpiece bases. We are DIYing our invitations, hopefully sewing some party bunting, and making jam for our favors.
My wedding will be cosy, candlelit, vintage, and Christmasy.
Our wedding style is modern organic.
modern vintage classic (are those oxymorons?? :))
I love love love paloma's nest. anyhoo! my wedding is taking place june 12 2010 and is being held at an awesome sculpture/art museum. our wedding is going to be whimsical garden, very quirky and lots of fun! Thanks for the contests, perfect gifts for my 5 favorite people in the world!
My wedding style is definitely "simply elegant" with the focus on the details.
Our wedding will be an intimate, shabby chic, rustic family affair in my hometown of Asheville NC; I can’t wait to introduce his family to my favorite place in the world.
i love these! my wedding is midsummer night's dream garden meets life aquatic meets library - a whole lot of outdoors, water inspiration and books!
I was married 12 years ago- but our wedding was vintage/modern. Daisies, and roses... and balloons. Some people thought the balloons were cheesy- but I was ahead of my time!!!
Chic, clean, and modern. No vintage/eclectic for me. :)
I would describe my wedding as simple elegance with lots of DIY projects. Its in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, so there will also be a mexican feel.
My wedding style is chic, unique and golden. I love everything in the pink and golden family - I think it creates such a warm atmosphere and I can't wait to see my wedding come together on April 24 2010 - love these bowls and love the blog!!
Our wedding style is a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll!
These are so cute- I especially love the Latin one (I teach Latin!)
We are having a laid back wedding in MA-- BBQ and Blues- should be amazing!
I've been thinking a lot about this lately - our wedding style is very personal, modern, with a touch of elegance and a really huge dose of fun. With so many of our friends coming from out of town, we're focusing on making the night a blast for all of our guests, and including very personal twists that will make the day truly "ours."
My wedding vision is elegant and colourful, the latter due to my African heritage.
Aww I love these bowls. I'm getting married this May - outdoors, 19th century, vintage, elegant theme!
BEACH FIESTA WEDDING- My dream wedding style is a beach "mexican" fiesta. A steel drum band, Corona's, margaritas, a taco bar, flip flops and lots of dancing...with just 25 close family and friends. What could be a better celebration than that?
hi.
these are just so beautiful!
my wedding style is mediterranean, with warm colours and lots and lots of flowers!
I am having a casual, but elegant wedding. The ceremony will be outdoors by a lake and we will have the reception at the restaurant next door.
We are calling our wedding style romantic bohemian. Our flower arrangements look like fresh picked flowers, we are trying to incorporate nature & DIY elements in every part and we already have a paloma's nest ring holder, so being able to give the smaller pieces as gifts to the bridesmaids would be perfect! Since I don't have 10 bridesmaids, I would use the additional pieces to give as part of a thank you memento to our parents who have been so helpful with all of our wedding planning.
LOVE her work! I've "hearted" several of her designs on Etsy. Our wedding style is effortlessly elegant, which means we are embracing the natural beauty of our venues without overdoing it on decor. We are collecting a few choice items (mostly from Etsy vendors) to use at our reception, and these bowls would be a beautiful complement to our simple yet sophisticated aesthetic. Thank you for the chance to win! I would gladly use the bowls for bridesmaids gifts (4), ring bearer bowl (1), and as gifts to our mothers (2), my fiance's stepmother (1) and our fathers (2). They are all MUCH deserving of this special keepsake. Thanks again!
Cute bowls! We are getting married in July at a ballroom in upstate NY. The cocktail hour will be my fiance's style with 80's music, modern decor, and a more casual atmosphere. When we move into the dinner, it will be elegant, romantic, a little whimsical with modern elements.
Our wedding theme is rustic chic with a touch of vintage. It's taking place in an outdoor wildflower center overlooking the hill country, so we really want to play up the simple elegance of it all. Plus, with so many family members flying in from out of state, we want to play up the Austin, Texas vibe without being cheesy.
Our wedding is going to have a simple, preppy vibe but with some romantic accents :)
My wedding style is chic and casual. It is going to be a wedding party with great friends, great food and great music ! :)
What a unique treasure!
Our wedding will be in the backyard garden of a close family friend. 65 guests total, all of whom mean the world to us. Our theme is family, friends & love in the garden!
My wedding style is traditional. The overall vibe we are going for is super romantic with tons of candlelight and soft, lush flowers. Thanks, what a great give-away!
We are having a vintage Key West wedding, complete with a cigar roller and burlesque girls passing out candy and cigarettes!
I am not getting married....I am already for 16 years. I didn't have the beautiful wedding like these. I think that is why I look at wedding blogs. I just wanted to say, this is the most wonderful wedding blog. I love looking at all the wonderful arrangements and gorgeous dresses. HAPPY LOVE to each and every one of you lucky women. May you have a terrific dream come true wedding and a wonderful marriage!
I LOVE these bowls! And so would my bridesmaids!
John and I are having a wedding that combines our varied aesthetics. It will be an outdoor country wedding at our family's farm, but with a sophisticated, elegant decor scheme instead of a typical 'country' wedding. White roses, peonies and sage, tall silver candelabras, and traditional chandeliers contrasted with lucite ghost chairs and a modern dress - and a big brass band to add atmosphere! I can't wait!
Our wedding style is rustic outdoor chic with a focus on the beauty and uniqueness of Northern Michigan--we are getting married outside over-looking the water amongst the vineyards and cherry orchards in Traverse City, Michigan. Since it is a destination wedding for almost everyone, we are trying to incorporate as many local goodies as possible and and trying to entice our guests to fall in the love with the area just like we did :)
I love these bowls as an unique alternative to a ring-bearer's pillow!
I would say my wedding style is vintage picnic with barbeque and bluegrass.
My wedding style is warm, rustic and inviting. I want to do a winter wedding and I want my guests to feel that they are coming in to a warm inviting space with all of our closest friends and family. I want to use a lot of candlelight and amber lighting to "warm" up the space. I want it to be very romantic and intimate.
My wedding style is classic and elegant. I am getting married in October and we have chosen the colors eggplant and green able. My fiance's last name is Shamrock so we are playing off of that as well and tying in little green shamrocks where we can - so fun! The bowls are beautiful - I've drooled over them several times.
I loooooove Paloma's Nest. My fiance got me the two branches, one tree bowl for Christmas. Our wedding is going to be casual, quirky, and romantic.
I love these!! My wedding style... wow... a mishmash of everything: a little bit modern (our venue with view of downtown DC and the memorials), a little bit romantic (lace on my wedding dress and invitations, pink/ivory flowers), a little bit Asian (paper cranes for decor, mini bamboo steamers as favors).
my wedding style is fun with an edited style. margaritas with modern decor. hot sauce bar in the wedding colors.
Our wedding will be a mix of handmade, vintage, casual, and just fun! It's being held at an old fort with tall brick walls and no ceiling. We'll be dancing under the starts all night to 3-5 different bands (lots of musical friends). We can't wait to gather up all of our closest friends and family and celebrate!
Our wedding style is relaxed and comfortable. We are getting married in the autumn by the beach.
Our wedding style is MODERN, SIMPLE and FRESH. The wedding is going to be held in the lobby space of an Art Gallery so it's a perfect fit for our 'vision' :) White walls with a splash of color in our decor elements. I'm super excited!
My wedding style is a little bit of modern, classic, and urban chicness all mixed together then sassed up a bow. And not your typical bows, but each with a different kind -- by this I mean, all the girls are wearing a different kind of bow.
Love Paloma's nest! :) The simplicity of them is just fantastic.
My wedding style is fun and breezy! Taking place at the beach I wanted an air or elegance but with the fun overflowing!
Our wedding style s beach chic. we are getting married at The Rockhouse Hotel in Jamaica. So, its fairly casual, but with style.
Those bowls are beautiful! They would make perfect displays or bridal party gifts! Our wedding is taking place in September 2011 at a Point O'Pines summer camp in Brant Lake, NY the style is organic, Adirondack country chic and mostly DIY.
Thanks for the opportunity for this fabulous gift!! :)
Our wedding style is going to be fairly casual and vintage-y. We are getting married at the oldest living botanical garden in the U.S. and we want our wedding to reflect the rustic surroundings.
These are so awesome!
I'm getting married in a desert town in July, and the style I'm going for is a perfect balance between rustic and elegant. Our church and reception venue both have rustic elements like chunky wood beams and stone walls, and I'm going to balance it with a bunch of white flower arrangements, romantic candles and luminarias lining the patio and the walkways. I want to keep the entire color palette within the white color family, and these bowls would be adorable housing little white mints in my dessert bar. I would give one to each of my six bridesmaids and one to my mom, who is a design nut and would love these so much!
We are getting married in a beautiful church in Puerto Rico and then our reception is in an ocean front hotel. Our style is vintage chic with a white, silver, pewter and touch of light pink color palette. We want the reception to be very warm, inviting, romantic, and a lot of fun!
How fantastic! I love Paloma's Nest! We're showcasing the non-honkey tonk side of Nashville in our August 2010 wedding. We're having the ceremony at a grand cathedral, followed by a downtown reception in a vintage ballroom. We can't wait to show our guests a great time in our new hometown!
I have had my eye on those bowls since I first saw them on your website--my wedding is classic-my bridesmaids keeping calling it "Classic Old Nantucket" It will be on a rooftop looking over a Marina.
These lil handmade pieces of joy would be such a lovely detail to include in our day. I have a hard time "defining" our wedding theme....there isn't a specific color scheme...there isn't a particular flower or embellishment that we will be using throughout the decor.
I guess I would say it's a mountain wedding...because it is...there are handmade, eco-friendly aspects to it...a lil classic bride thrown in... with some rustic, hippie choices. Along with special 100% recycled invitations. It will be a day of whimsy...fresh mountain air...a raindrop or two...and wildflowers.
These bowls are very sweet! Our wedding style is sophisticated glamour with some wit and fun mixed in....my dress is very elegant, creamy silks and lace with a bow at the waist; our invitations are black and white with funky fonts; the church is a very traditional Catholic beauty; and we will offer dinner and dancing at the W, with purple uplighting and orchids decorating the lobby. Old school hip hop will play all night after our dj spins Old Blue Eyes during cocktails. A photo booth with propos will keep nondancers entertained.
My wedding is a little bit vintage, a little bit classic, a little bit homemade, and a lot of fun.
Our wedding will be a combination of different elements that represent us as a couple. Most importantly, we want it to be fun and entertaining for our guests. The style of our wedding is elegant, classic with feminine elements, minimal vintage inspired pieces, and will also combine our cultural and family traditions.
Our June wedding will be held in a State Park/Historical Mansion in Beverly Hills, California. I wanted sustainable elegance, harkening to the golden years of Hollywood. The wedding style would be described as soft and romantic- with green, champagne, light peach and blush colors in everything from the flowers to the canvas tote favors, which, along with my Paloma's Nest Ring Bowl, will feature my favorite quote by ee cummings, "i carry your heart with me."
our wedding style is classic . . . silver bridesmaids dresses, black tuxes, oleg cassini dress for me. we're going with a "winter" theme, so we have a few snowflake accents. we're having a dessert and dance reception after the evening ceremony. our reception venue is a 2nd floor ballroom overlooking main street - love it!
Our June wedding is simple and modern, with Asian flair. The wedding ceremony will be in a Catholic church and the reception will be in a golf course.
Our wedding is going to be in May and will be classic, romantic, and family-oriented.
Thanks for the giveaway!
So cute! Our wedding style is going to be fresh and sparkling. We're going for cobalt and robin egg blues, with dashes of tangerine, poppy, chartreuse, and lime.
we are having a modern loft wedding. we're using a lot of neutral grays (silver, pewter, charcoal, black), cream/whites, and a few pops of yellow here and there. i looove these bowls, and have them on my fave list on etsy, it would be wonderful to have them for our wedding!
I am having a romantic, homey, vintage wedding that is uniquely US!!! I love these bowls, AND I am getting married in Austin... where these bowls are from!!!
vintage,sweet, intimate
We are having a modern wedding in the Spring. We are going for a clean Spring feeling with lots of yellows and greens.
Rustic/shabby chic! I love the bowls!
Our wedding style is rustic elegant - we are getting married outdoors, at a beatiful Italian inspired winery. The color palette is simple neutrals (champagne, white, ivory) to offset the amazing scenery.
Love these....so pretty! My wedding is hot pink and lime green with whimsical touches thrown in and Southern charm ;)
Our autumn wedding style is filled with fun, a nod to tradition and the past, and lots of deep dark reds. After exchanging our vows in the bride’s home town church, we will party into the wee hours of the morning with drinks and cake! Highlights are bound to be the vintage beading and lace, roses, and handsome men in tuxes. We hope to give our guests a night to remember while we celebrate our time together, and the years to come.
We will be having a whimsical, fun, and entertaining wedding! I would love a bowl to write "You were worth the wait" 3.13.10
We're going for a cheery outdoor wedding! Our front-runner right now is the San Francisco Zoo, complete with a carousel!
Looove these little bowls! Our wedding style is casual elegance with a vintage touch. We're getting married in a cute little garden courtyard and then celebrating the night away at a restaurant housed in a turn of the century building!
Ours - Etheral, floaty, airy, impish apple green, godess inky purple and earthy rustic brown.
We hope our Spring wedding on the coast of Wales will be warm, whimsical and romantic, with lots of diy details and everyone we love!
My wedding style is vintage and romantic! Love the bowls, very sweet!
My personal wedding style is modern, outdoors, and casual. Since I have a big family, I really want to focus on spending as much time with them and for the event to be one big new + current family reunion. Can't wait!!
Our spring wedding style is country/rustic with a vintage vibe... with a touch of farming.
My wedding style is contemporary,, fresh and fun! We want to focus on our guests having just as good of a time as we do!
I saw these and thought they were a lot like real love: delicate, with an inner strength! Just beautiful pieces of art for the big day. We are having a summer wedding and our style is French countryside with a flair of Texas: think of Provence meets Austin. Natural greens, creams, French silk blues. An ethereal romance.
Our wedding is classic elegance with a touch of vintage! I'd love to win!
Our wedding style is best described as laid back charm, with whimsical details. We are getting married in a rustic bed and breakfast/barn setting this June (yay!!) We decided to go with a huge dessert buffet with drinks, dancing and fun outdoor games for a relaxed reception rather than a sit down dinner meal, after 7 years together we couldn't be happier with our decision ;)
What gorgeous plates! My summer wedding was a family affair, small but elegant. Later we had a gorgeous reception with friends and family. Our wedding color was bright pink and lots of mongram! It was the ultimate girlie wedding!
We're having a modern-meets-vintage aviation-themed shin dig at the California Aerospace Museum.
I would have to say our style might be called "Simple Sophistication on a Budget." We've set our wedding budget at a piddling $10K due to financial circumstances, but we both have very distinct taste... this will be a challenge. This giveaway is great bc I was planning on attempting to make those myself bc I couldn't afford them!
Our wedding style is a combination of rustic and classic elegance. Our colors are navy blue, grey, and ivory. We are having a rooftop ceremony and a candlelit dinner overlooking a lake. These ring bowls would be perfect gifts!
Love these! Our wedding style is I'd say vintage garden, relaxed and romantic. We'll be getting married outdoors at my parents' lovely farmhouse :)
Wow, I guess I really need to ponder this! I'd say our wedding style will come out traditional, laid-back, warm and fun, with lots of awesome music and personal touches. Yeah, I definitely need to work on this description...
So cute!!
Vintage country DIY would best describe mine!
We have coined our wedding style "rustic elegance." Not very original (anymore) but it seemed to be when we started planning! We are getting married in an old historic BARN in Michigan - hence the rustic!
I would say our wedding style is country garden elegant. Not too formal, but not too rustic, with some special details that make it uniquely ours (with a few ideas courtesy of SMP!).
My wedding style is very intimate, casual, and elegant! Getting married in Big Sur...up on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, at a rustic hillside hotel. 30 people. Navy blues and soft pink flowers. Lots and lots of hurricane candles, outdoor lighting including paper lanterns, christmas lights, and glowing table numbers. It fits our laid back and private personalities wonderfully! I can't wait to celebrate with my best friends and family in such an amazing location! We really want neat details at the wedding, since it is so small. And this would be the most wonderful addition!!
Modern/vintage/casual wedding. Grey, green, and white colors... Beautiful bowls!
our urban wedding is classic but modern/sophisticated/funky! we're getting married at an amazing historic synagogue, with the reception at a boutique hotel within walking distance, and also in a historic building (that has a modern, almost marimekko-looking decor as well). it's semi-formal because it's evening and set in these classic venues, but with fun whimsical touches, and a focus on seasonal, local food and flowers
I adore these! My wedding style is antique, warm and glowy!
My wedding style is eclectic wintage glam! :)
wedding style....art museum + pacific nw rainforest...I guess it's classic nature
These are great and would go perfectly with my wedding style--urban classic!
My style is classic antique with a modern twist! Love it! Thanks for the giveaway :)
These are beautiful - we're actually using one for our ringbearer, so would love to give the girls their own bowls. They go perfectly with our style - minimalist, classic, and a little quirky!

My style is whimsical and fresh with a classic feeling. I want to love my wedding in 30, 40, 50 years when all my tastes have changed. We are getting married in my hometown at the same church my parents were married. Im wearing my mother's gloves from her wedding. With a midnight blue and apple green color scheme. I am overwhelmed with excitement!
My wedding style is modern chic - gray, ivory and yellow, all surrounded by pretty cedar tress in Austin, TX. I adore these bowls! WAY CUTE :)
My style is casual elegance. Outdoor ceremony in a beautiful garden with a tent reception. Lots of natural elements mixed with gorgeous fabrics. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these bowls!

My wedding style is classic with a little vintage.
These bowls are beautiful! Thanks for the giveaway.
We have rented my old sleepaway camp for our May 2010 wedding. The setting is playful, rustic, and beautiful. A fun weekend filled with zip-lining, horseback riding, and stealing kisses at the lake. What goes better with summer camp than a little pottery?!
I love these little bowls! Our reception is going to be in the ski lodge at the top of a mountain. We're going for "earthy" with a hint of western (I have the BEST pair of green cowboy boots!). Lots of greens, browns, and creams to reflect the beautiful surroundings and our outdoorsy, laid-back style. Lots of DIY projects, I just made the boys' boutineers!
The bowls are so adorable!
Our style is DIY garden chic. We're getting married in a garden by a friend from school and having lots of white flowers. So pretty and (hopefully) easy to arrange ourselves!
What cute bowls! My wedding theme is classic.
Our wedding is a casual, eco-friendly, outdoor wedding on a farm. We would love the bowls to use as gifts for our wedding party!
i LOVE these and have been keeping my eye on them for awhile! what a great idea to give as gifts. i'm an austin bride so would love to win something from an austin designer! we're getting married in january 2011 and we keep saying our wedding will be chic, simple and modern!
Our wedding is modern/simple/chic. Indoor with bright colors, and soft lighting.
We got married in June 2009, and our wedding style was vintage modern. We actually had a Paloma's Nest ring bowl, but our ring bearer thought it was his to keep after the wedding, and I didn't have the heart to make him give it back!
Although our wedding has passed, it would be nice to be able to recreate our lost ring bowl, and give an "anniversary" gift to the wonderful friends and family who helped make our day possible!
I have moved to California from England, our wedding will be retro wild west meets english lawn games....
Oh my goodness this is the happiest Monday morning EVER!
I have been pining over these bowls for months and plan on ordering one for our rings, but how wonderful to also be able to give such a lovely and meaningful gift. I would love to give these to our wedding party (his 2 brothers, my 2 sisters, 3 little ones - neices/nephew) and parents.
We are having a pretty traditional wedding with some quirky/personalized touches. We've been referring to the style as "simple, comfortable elegance". We really want our guests to feel relaxed and pampered. The heritage house we rented for the garden ceremony and reception will hopefully help our guests to feel "at home".
Thanks for offering such a fun contest!
Gorgeous!
Our wedding style is a DIY version of Old meets New... Vintage style mixed with bright, fresh colors :)
I absolutely LOVE these bowls! Have had my eye on them for a while! Our style will be elegant with a homemade/diy style! And I can't wait!
Our wedding style is traditional, with a little touch of modern.
navybaby1113 (at) gmail (dot) com
I am having a vintage glamour wedding with a spinkle or two of royalty :)
our goal for our wedding is to not lose sight of what getting married is all about- the love between us and the support that we have recieved along the way from family and friends. Our wedding style reflects that. We are going for a homemade but elegant feel with dancing, bbq and a dessert bar. We are getting our family and friends involved so that the touches are much more special and would love to have these to give them as thankyous!
rustic elegance...outdoor ceremony at the airport...groom is a pilot...we are flying away, only to return to our reception under a big white tent in the city park...can't wait!
I'm having a formal wedding with a traditional southern twist! Thanks for hosting this fabulous giveaway! :)
My wedding style in three words is southern, comfortable, and romantic. Thanks for the opportunity! These bowls are just darling!
Simple chic. We're getting married in the USVI with a small entourage of freinds and family. The bowls would be a great piece in my welcome baskets or as thank you gifts. P.S. ... Luv the weddings featured here and I'll be stealing a few ideas for my own :-)
I love these bowls! Our wedding theme is bringing the indoors out and the outdoors in...our ceremony will be outdoors and decorated with a gorgeous antique door, rugs and eclectic furniture. When guests move into ballroom & veranda reception, we'll have lawn games, ice cream and lots of fun activities that would traditionally be seen outdoors. If I won the bowls I would surely gift them to the wedding party, but I'd do so at the wedding itself so that they could be displayed before my girls take them home!
We'll be having a casual, handmade, summer time wedding in an LEED-certified gallery/performance space in Brooklyn. We're serving barbeque and I'm learning how to play the drums!
cutest bowls! our wedding is a vintage garden theme.
Our wedding could be described as urban, modern, crafty with a touch of vintage. We're getting married at one of our favorite rock concert halls where we used to go on dates!
They are lovely!
The theme really is two parts urban, two parts forest, one part garden, one part far east, a pinch of rock 'n roll and a whole lotta love. With locally sourced, earth-friendly ingredients as much as possible. :)
We are having a military wedding. It will be held outside. My fiance just finished Ranger School. We are waiting to hear about his orders to deploy.
We are having a lake wedding in Austin in September!! Such a beautiful location! My wedding style is classic/traditional, but we are adding in details of country style. My husband-to-be and his family are the epitome of Texas country living. So, we are adding in details that relate to their love of horses, and Texas country!
My wedding style is very much European with old world flair! Our wedding theme is called “Spanish Splash” because we are getting married at a Spanish/Mediterranean resort by the beach. The groom is also from Spain.
Our outdoor ceremony already has lush gardens and flowers just like what you find at a Spanish-style home. I will be presented with 13 gold coins as a symbol that I will be taken care of financially and forever from my groom.
Cocktail hour will include a Mariachi band or Salsa/flamenco guitar music. Men will be given cigars and ladies will be given Spanish fans. Our guest book are vintage Spanish and European postcards I found from Ebay with Spanish stamps from the 1950’s. My maid of honor will mail them to me when I am on my honeymoon.
Our reception will feature elegant wrought-iron chandeliers and Spanish-tiles used as escort cards for the guests. Each table will named after a city in Spain with the bridal party table named Galicia where the groom and the family were born and raised. Our colors are black and white (how easy is that with splashes of red tone flowers for color) Our wedding wont have a toast speech like in America but everyone will raise their glasses to the bride and groom and toast us with a hearty round of "Salud!"
Our wedding style is timeless elegance. We are establishing this by combining both ornate and simple design elements so that each plays off and enhances attributes of the other. Our ceremony is taking place in a huge Gothic Cathedral on the campus where we met. Inside the design elements will be clean and simple. Our reception is taking place in a minimal modern space, which we will fill with more ornate floral decorations along with other elements. Another example is that I am wearing a traditional wedding gown - but it is not white (can't say what color it IS here in case someone recognizes my wedding from the description!). So we've been playing off that theme in every aspect of the wedding from our save the dates and decor through to my dress.
LOVE!
As for my wedding style - hmmm. I would say I'm crafty/modern/loft-party/handmade/traditional. We're getting married in July and I am so excited!!!
Our wedding style is classic chic with a southern flair. Thanks for the great posts, as always! :)
I love Paloma's Nest!! What a great give away and so timely because I am looking into gifts for my girls now!
We're having a traditional ceremony and a vintage and eclectic courtyard reception.
My wedding was a elegant ballroom wedding with a southern flair.
We're having a vintage, diy wedding in an old monastery, with a little shout out to Spain thrown in the details! These little bowls would be amazing gifts for my bridesmaids and would fit the theme perfectly! Thank you for giving us a chance to win these, they are beautiful!
These are adorable. As for our wedding, we're going for a fun urban feel with lots of class :)
Simple, fun, intimate and one of a kind. It will be a mix of vintage (me) and modern (the boy)...
So cute! Vintage backyard DIY with TONS of peonies!
We're having a non traditional ceremony and laid back, fun party for the reception.
Our wedding style is US!
We travel, love the outside, are a little rusitc yet classic, we appreciate history and we strive to always be good hosts. We want our guests to have an intiminte time celebrating our new life together. SO our style is fresh and summery,a little vintage, a little rustic, and embracing travel.
The bowls are great :)
Ahh! So excited to see this! Our wedding will be a garden wedding with a preppy theme. We imagine clean lines, tons of flowers, and a casual affair. I would love to win these amazing bowls- I can only begin to dream of the many ways we could incorporate these into our very special day!
I'm marrying the love of my life on April 23, 2010 in Austin, Texas. Our wedding is organically-focused, and the style is romantic, southern, rustic elegance (then it transitions to a crazy purple 80's party after dinner!). In additional to giving my bridesmaids each a ring bowl, I would also give one to my mother, my soon-to-be mother in law, and my grandmother, to thank them for their tremendous love and support.
I've had my eye on these bowls ever since I saw them in a magazine! They're gorgeous! My wedding style is casual and classy. We are getting married on our college campus. I'm going for a good dose of old-fashioned romance and making our guests feel totally comfortable. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful prize!
Totally vintage glam. Fun fun fun!
Our wedding is taking place in October and we want it to feel very warm, homemade and glow-y. We are using soft cremes, golds, coppers and other warm fall tones along with tons of candlelight. I've loved these bowls forever and they fit perfectly into our style!
love love love these bowls! they are actually on the inspiration board for my wedding. :) our wedding style is rustic vintage.
Love Palomas Nest! My wedding is going to be sweet, romantic (perfect for the outdoor garden setting).
My wedding style is pinks-and-creams chic. It's all about beautiful texture in soft colours. There's simplicity and sophistication. I've always love flowers so the florals will be very elegant, tall, and stand-out in the room.
Ohhh our wedding is going for a rustic charm with a modern twist. I am really bringing in the Vermonty elements of our location, while using bold colors to make it all pop! Bringing a little bit of the city to Stowe. I can't wait!
Wonderful giveaway! My wedding 'style' is budget-friendly, vintage chic. I'm going for the PRETTY while keeping things within our $15K budget at a gorgeous venue in San Clemente, CA. It's not easy, but I'm having a FABULOUS time planning! Thank you Style Me Pretty & Paloma's Nest for all your inspiration!
What an amazing giveaway! My fiance is a diplomat, and we will be traveling the world and living overseas for the rest of his career. Our style for our October wedding is vintage travel, and we've taken our warm color and decor inspiration from old maps, faded globes, and vintage American Tourister pieces.
What a fabulous gift for our family! We're having a small family wedding this summer in Greece using shades of white against the sparkling blue backdrop of the sea. The texture of these bowls reminds us exactly of the buildings in Greece. Such a perfect complement and a wonderful, meaningful way to include each of our guests who have graciously traveled so far to share our day.
Whimsical and woodsy...a fall "midsummer night's dream"! Tall ceilings with warm uplighting, branches and candles.
Our wedding style is a relaxed garden party held beachside. I love, love, love Paloma's Nest!
I LOVE Paloma's Nest! This is so exciting. My wedding style is an east-meets-west-summer-backyard-vintage-touch of rustic-sun-kissed crystals-DIY-love fest. It's a little bit of everything but at the core, full of love, fun and creativity...just like me and my husband to be. These ten bowls would be the perfect addition to our wedding! I'd love to gift some to my bridemsaids and have the rest on display throughout the reception. And ten is a lucky number for us as we are tying the knot on our ten year anniversary.
Thanks for this exciting opportunity!
Our wedding style is fun, modern, city-chic meets wine country affair. The decor is going to be primarily non-floral-- think tall grasses, glass and white sculptural vases, olive trees and italian cypress. We're also going for a low-key but minimalist vibe with white lounge furniture and sheer drapery with gold accents.
I love the Paloma's nest aesthetic and these ring bowls would be the perfect complement to our wedding style!
We are envisaging our wedding as a sort of London between the wars, the Brideshead set dancing to the sharpest Cuban band, hats and waistcoats and old typewriters and flowers in tumblers. We live in London and are both singers - our wedding is in a gothic church that had its roof blown off during the Blitz (since rebuilt of course) and the reception is in a beautiful Georgian house. And some lovely white bowls would be a lovely addition (perhaps with quotes from the Bloomsbury writers...oh the possibilities...)
These are simply beautiful. I love the engraving on a solid white background. So chic!
We're getting married in April in the garden of a 1920s estate in North Carolina. The house is fully restored and is a great mix of rustic vintage and modern. We're carrying on that theme with the ceremony, the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers...everything! These little ring bowls would make perfect bridesmaids' gifts and gifts for our mothers. Beautiful work, Paloma's Nest!
Gasp! What a wonderful day is today to come to work, get a daily dose of beautiful wonderfulness at Style Me Pretty before I get to doing my real job, and then to have my heart drop when I see that there is a Paloma's Nest give-away!! I am a graphic designer/wedding photographer/ceramic artist (self-diagnosed creative ADHD) and have been around to see my fair share of weddings and made ceramic pieces as gifts. I have been one of those always been a bridesmaid, never been a bride kind of girls. I have been with my now fiance for over three years and have slowly been putting together ideas for when it is our day. I could easily make something for my ladies, but there is something special about falling in love with another ceramic artist's work and wanting to support their work and have it for your own collection and special day. The ring bearer bowls have been bookmarked on my "favorites" for quite some time. Our wedding style is romantic-vintage with accents of art nouveau in shades of ecru, ochre, deep raspberry and cornflower. Yellow/carmel garden roses DIY flowers with baby's breath in grandma's collection of milk glass vases and bowls. Clean, warm, romantic, intimate and DIY.
I love the ring bowls and all of her work! What an inspiration!!
We're having a rather unique wedding. My fiance is an officer in the Marine Corps, so Part 1 will be just the two of us and a stranger for a witness at the courthouse - he'll be wearing his dress blues and i'll be wearing a very traditional dress. Part 2 will be a church ceremony and garden-style celebration in the backyard of my parent's house, complete with cute little bird nest ring pillow!!
Thanks for sharing!
I've been trying to think of a theme for our wedding ~ its a Family and Friends affair, outdoors in our backyard and neighboring field, some fun vintage elements but a little bit Western and loads of fun!
I love Paloma's Nest and this would be the perfect gift for my 8 bridesmaids and the mothers! Our wedding "theme" is Tuscan romance...going for a rustic, warm and elegant autumn look at a winery!
I've been admiring these for some time, such great understated beauty! We are having a rustic chic wedding on the coast of Maine in June. Complete with dingy rides around the harbor and s'mores by the campfire. There is nothing like summer in Maine...
I love those bowls!! My wedding style is definitely semi-formal, modern chick. :)
These are precious! My wedding style is casual beach. We're going with the no shoes, feet in the sand feel.
I have been eyeing these for months! I would love to have one (two, three!) of my own and also give some to my family!!
Our wedding will be in Cape Cod in November, a roaring ocean and a toasty fire, a little DIY, a little whimsical, a lot of us :)
our wedding, in 32 days, :) will be colorful, lively and handmade!
My style is romantic- we're having a Jane Austen theme in an old town hall and English country dancing!
These bowls are super cute and I've had my eye on them for a long time! Paloma's Nest is a bit like our wedding style...simple and minimalist, yet modern and personal. We're planning a small and intimate wedding with just twenty of our closest friends and family... We're viewing the occasion as a celebration of our new beginnings and a way to say "thank you" to those who have contributed the most meaning to our lives. We wanted to celebrate our happiness with those who truly love and care about us. With the current economy and what's happening in the world today, we didn't want to have a grand and 'over the top' wedding... Just an occasion that is truly reflective of who we are and how grateful we are for what we have.
I've loved these precious little bowls all year since getting engaged! Our wedding style is nature meets creative spirit...aka; we're using a beautiful/natural outdoor setting for the ceremony & DIY-ing the entire reception in a lovely historic building that used to house many local artists so I'm channeling their creative energies!
I've been adoring these bowls ever since a colleague of mine used them in her wedding. We are planning an insanely fun wedding weekend at my summer camp in Maine this September. The feel of the wedding will be rustic elegance with a very natural thread through it all, given the setting. The monotone nature and natural materials of these bowls fit perfectly! Because my fiance is a native Spanish speaker, we will be integrating both English and Spanish throughout, so words will be very important component and Caroline's beautiful pieces would work so well!
Outdoor desert modern chic! :) Thanks so much for this giveaway opportunity!
My style - warm, farmhouse, eclectic, slow. Thanks!
These would make beautiful gifts! Thank you to Paloma's nest for the giveaway!! Our wedding will take place in May 2010 at my fiance's parents 4 acre backyard in Berthoud, Colorado on a lake totally rustic, elegant, intimate, classy and DIY! Our mid-morning ceremony will be on the lake followed by an intimate brunch reception for family and friends! A great way to start off a beautiful marriage! There will be hints of lavender, black and ivory.
Wow! How super cute!
My wedding style is simple, with unique touches thrown in that really tell a story about the bride and groom.
Oh those are adorable! Our wedding is going to be outdoor casual meets a touch of geek. It's going to be at my Mom's house, built in 1932 by my great-grandparents, and just a nice casual party for friends and family to come have fun and celebrate. Yay for casual party fun!
These are adorable! Wedding style: backyard casual with a bit of prep
These bowls are beautiful! What a great giveaway! we're having an intimate ceremony in Florida and a big celebration in Iowa, where I'm from about a month later. If I had to choose words to describe the feel, I'd say classic-romantic. My dress and the bridesmaids' dresses are chiffon and the common theme in the decor is a rose motif, my favorite flower. We're not having colors, just different pastel colors.
I love these bowls! We are having a FUN, beachy destination wedding in St. Thomas :)
These are so cute. My wedding is a kind of English country garden style!
My wedding style is vintage winter wedding. I love those bowls!
How fantastic. We're having a white-tie, 1930s inspired wedding on the campus of our alma mater. It is a small, family only affair.
Oh I LOVE Paloma's Nest bowls! My wedding style is Southern romance. We are getting married in New Orleans in an outdoor courtyard with lots of flowers, a jazz band, cajun food and a red velvet cake!
My wedding is in an old 19th Century train station that has been converted into a ballroom, so my invites, programs and menus will have a vintage flair to complement the location. Since we are getting married in the beginning of summer, I wanted to honor the beautiful time of year with a really lush, garden feeling. We are having roses, peonies, hydrangeas and plenty of other summer flowers in pastel pinks, blues and purples. I also am going to add a lot of texture to the tables by using moss within the flower arrangments and birch votives and menu holders.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter this great giveaway!
Our wedding style is rustic vintage with vintage (or repro vintage style) advertising tins found at various flea markets being used as centerpieces to hold flowers. and old advertising tin signs as inspiration for the style of wooden signs we'll paint, and the invitation design.
Love these! Our wedding style is formal and elegant with Southern touches.
My style is Classy yet rustic.
It is so easy to classify a wedding as vintage or classic, glamorous or beachy but what does it mean? I have been trying to define these words for the past few months and I find that everyone has their own idea of what vintage is.
Our wedding is taking his love of modern, clean lines and monochromatic colors and blending it with my love of soft, feminine curves with warm notes of claret and gold. We are both inspired by nature. Moved my the beauty that our Creator has given us.
Beautiful. Natural. Us.
Our wedding style is sophsticated all american on July 4th!
My wedding style is a mish-mosh of a bunch. There's some vintage elements (i.e. vintage style dress, LP-style save the dates), some more classic elements, and some artsy and DIY touches. Overall, I'd say "simple with a whole lot of "us"".
breezy outdoor wedding w/ lavender accents July 31st!
Girlie with tons of homemade, nature inspired elements! Hydrenga green and chocolate were the colors, our motif was a tree, and we went from there with it.
My wedding style is antique/vintage and has an "Anthropologie" theme. These bowls would be a great personal touch!!
My wedding style is antique/vintage and has an "Anthropologie" theme. These bowls would be a great personal touch!!
Our wedding style is natural and fun. We're getting married outside on a land cooperative, supported by friends and family who are communally helping us throw this celebration, a ceremony full of laid back spirit and joy, a good ole' deep south BBQ & fish fry reception, followed by live music from a local blues band. Tie it all together with tons of colors, lots of handmade touches, and a full moon and you have our wedding.
Thanks for the giveaway!
My wedding style is simple and classic, with a bit of vintage flair. I'm incorporating lots of DIY and asking family and friends to contribute their timeless pieces and hang on to the wine corks!
our wedding is in august, at a winery, with lots of vintage touches and a lot of DIY elements. these bowls would fit beautifully with the natural/organic feel I hope to achieve.
we're going for a vintage country wedding out in the middle of lush irish farmland :)
My wedding style is Organic Modern. The would be fabulous!!
I'm going vintage!
My centerpieces are going to be teapots I've collected from various second hand shops and yard sales, my colors are inspired by the era, and we're even having a typewriter set up for our guests to type us out a message as a keep-sake!
The wedding is on June 11, 2011 and I'm hoping for a nice warm day, but just in case, I've got beautiful umbrellas for everyone. I hope that it's a laid back experience that won't end up costing us very much, since we're gathering the pieces bit by bit and we're getting a lot of help from family and crafty friends!
an elegant but modern late-summer garden party. :)
I just love love love these bowls. Our theme is a vintage garden party.
I have been eyeing those bowls since one of your weddings featured them earlier this month! My wedding style is Ethereal and Eclectic! Our colors are mauve, khaki/tan, pink, gold, and hints of pale green, blue and pink. It will be memorable and full of surprises, Expect the Unexpected!
I guess you could call my wedding romantic, country and vintage-y/eclectic. We are having it at a big old manor house surrounded by farmland in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The centerpiece vessels are mismatched cake platters, birdbaths and pitchers surrounded by old and vintage-inspired votive candles with old house numbers for table numbers.
How cute are those bowls!?!? I am so excited for our wedding, I cannot wait! The style of our wedding is going to be VERY romantic and slightly vintage, and completely DIY (with lots of projects I found here on SMP!). The colors will be peaches, pale pinks, bronze, tan and cream colors. My fiance and I are going around to estate and garage sales to find the table decor, which will consist of vintage bottles and jars with single stem flowers, and lots of candles. We just want a fun, somewhat casual atmosphere full of family and friends!
I've been trying to find the right words to describe our wedding style for months! I guess I could have to say our style is DIY Whimsy with a little Vintage thrown in for good measure. I just want to be sure to embrace all of our family members, past & present, and throw a great party while doing it!! Love these bowls! :) What a great idea for a bridesmaid's present.
We will be having a modern, with small retro touches, and fresh destination wedding with a reception upon our return, bringing back some tropical loveliness to the dreary winter. :)
crisp + summery classic
The ring bowls are so elegant and simple. Our wedding is (hopefully) going to be just that!
We are planning a Southern vintage-meets- Spanish wedding for August. I am from Louisiana and my fiance is Spanish, so we are trying to incorporate little things from each of our cultures. Great giveaway!!
I'm the wedding planner for my sister's wedding and it's next June. Colors are spring green and pink. It's at a beautiful spot in Newport, RI. The style is very fun, classic, and with a vintage flare.
We are planning a rustic, eco-friendly wedding updated with fresh citrus colors. Simple, fun and eclectic.
too cute! our wedding is focusing on warm hues, likes pinks and golds, with preppy touches. i can't wait for our florida bash!
Love these bowls! Our wedding will be a "chic garden party" at botanical gardens this August.
I love these bowls! Our wedding will be a "fashion-forward backyard bbq" in a garden location this July.
Love these bowls! Our wedding style is country-rustic with a laid-back/fun feel...or at least that's what I'm going for!!
Our wedding style is simple yet unique: its us! While we are going for some traditional elements we are also doing what we want!
Love those bowls... Our wedding style is intimate, and fun with a touch of elegance. These would make beautiful gifts for my lovely bridesmaids.
We have been calling it something like Country Elegance or Chic. Or Indie Country Elegance...Budget budget budget... those bowls would totally help with the elegance, indie and chic-ness of our day!
Lovely and local! We're having an Austin wedding that will be (hopefully) elegant and classic, with a touch of shimmer.
I'm going for a modern, black & white style. And I have lots of ideas from SMP weddings. So excited!
love love love Paloma's bowls!!
Our wedding style is personal, sweet and rich. Lots of patterns, textures, graphics have lots of graphic shapes but also lots of etched illustrations - color palette of cobalt blue, navy, yellows, grays, etc. Lots of details to help our semi-big wedding feel much smaller - think lots of hidden little intimate secret details we want guests to happen upon. oh, and we'll have local ice cream maker, Jeni's Ice Cream outside the church with an ice cream cart, waiting for our guests post-ceremony. We have to have ice cream in July!
These are so cute!!
our wedding style is casual elegance centered around community. we knew we had to have a wedding, even if it would be easier to elope, because our whole relationship has been about being a blessing not just to ourselves but to our community. this meant making sure we had the blessing of our families and our friends when we started dating and even when we got engaged. what better way to celebrate it than to see all of our community coming in agreement together for our union! we're getting married in a big old house that is owned by a big family that has their own vendors that they also treat like family. friends and family are coming in to help in so many ways - decorating, making the cake, etc. i know that it is going to be an amazing day!
What a lovely idea for gifts! Our wedding style is "Irish Spring"! Remember those silly soap commercials? Well, his heritage is Irish, we're getting married on St. Patrick's Day (very soon!), at a local rustic shooting club, with scads of diy details. There will be loads of green, white, a bit of yellow, and unadorned wood. Not a lot of matchy decor or accessories (except for the gentlemen's kilts), but a lot of coordinating color and a vintage vibe. I would love to give these bowls to my five ladies!
I love these bowls! Our wedding is simple but classic and formal. Its at a Catholic mission in San Antonio with about 50 people. colors are several shades of purple and a little yellow in the flowers because i just had to have daises!
Our wedding will be a classy, Frank Sinatra meets Michael Buble event. Ceremony will be held outdoors overlooking the entire valley of Prescott just before sunset... Small baby's breath posies for the bridesmaids in dark eggplant dresses... For the reception I'm thinking guests in cocktail attire, indoor sit-down dinner at long wooden tables with table runners, tons of tealights down the center of the tables with low flower arrangements here and there and tons of glassware at each table setting to reflect the candlelight... Dancing outside under the stars in the courtyard with strands of cafe lights criscrossing overhead... etc. etc.
i would be so excited to give these adorable bowls as gifts! similar to my fiance and myself, our wedding is simple, a bit traditional and a bit modern, with love showing through all the details. i hope people walk away thinking, "well wasn't that a lovely start to their marriage." we are getting married in the sanctuary of the church i grew up in and have spent so much time in. the reception will be held at the university of oklahoma football stadium! i absolutely love football a little more than most females. our closest 500 friends, family, and loved ones will be invited to share the evening with us.
Love those bowls! And I know my special ladies would love them too! Our wedding is going to be fun! We are incorporating our Mexican and Irish heritage throughout our ceremony and reception. We want the wedding to express both our vintage style and bright, lively personalities. Our colors are vibrant red, persimmon, and accents of turmeric. So excited for our fun day!
I love these! My wedding will take place near a lake in a tent, the colors are green and blue and it will be dress/casual. I really just want it to be a huge party for our friends and family to celebrate Jason and I spending the rest of our lives together. These bowls would make a great addition to the day!
:)
great giveaway - thanks! my wedding style is probably best described as "rustic edge to classic elegance".
Oh, those bowls are lovely! We're having our wedding at an Inn built in the 1860s. Our theme is sort of a blend of Woodland mixed with Rustic Elegance. <3
What a lovely giveaway! I've always loved these bowls and would love to give them away as gifts. I'd say my wedding style is sweet and simple + traditional/classic + a few parts cultural heritage.
Our wedding is going to be rustic and modern ... outside but with a touch of structure and clean lines inside for the reception - cannot wait! Thanks for the chance :)
Our wedding will be a shabby chic - Southern style wedding. Inspired by many of the weddings I've seen here on Style me Pretty! :)
Our wedding style is going to be clean, elegant & practical. We've chosen to have charcoal grey and white to be our base colours, with a pop of a very deep plum. Our reception will be head in a lounge/bar that has recently been renovated and is situated in the downtown core of our little city. It has beautiful hardwood floors, limestone walls and exposed beams in the ceilings, with three huge windows in the front that let the light cascade into the place. Gorgeous!
So pretty!
We are getting married at Belle Mer, a semi-permanent tent structure right on the Narragansett Bay in Newport, RI. When planning our wedding, we wanted to include all of our favorite things about summer while also taking advantage of the gorgeous design of our venue. So we'll be eating barbecue, drinking hard lemonade and sitting by the fire pit roasting marshmallows while LBB member DJ Beat Train plays our favorite tunes. It's a quirky, upscale barbecue and I can't wait!
These are too cute! For our wedding we are going for a classic and elegant look with a bit of funk thrown in. Oranges and pinks with navy accents at a small vineyard in CT on a property that has an airplane hanger from WW2 as our venue. Industrial meets country!
Classic, timeless & elegant.
Love these! I like classic, formal weddings with family touches added throughout everything!
Love! Love! Love them! We are having a spring wedding and it's going to be classic and elegant with an old hollywood feel. There will be lots of crystals and feathers throughout. Our colors are black, white and green.
I love Paloma's Nest! Our wedding style is whimsical vintage. It will be held at an old victorian mansion in the foothills. All of the flowers are heirloom blooms of sweet peas, lilacs, and antique roses. The palette is traditional black and white. For the first part of the night, we will be playing a lot of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and Big Band Music. Our wedding will celebrate many different eras of the past, while celebrating the fact that our love will grow into the future!
Our wedding is going to be intimate (25 of our closest friends and family) and chic- rustic. We are having our ceremony & reception in a 106yr old home that has been turned into a bed and breakfast. To say the least, I am living my dream of marrying my bestfriend in the most quaint and unique way!
My wedding style is classic winter with southern/cozy/rustic elements thrown in :)
I would love to have one of those on my bedside table to keep my ring at night!
My fiance and I are having our wedding in a heritage barn built in 1837, in Grafton Ontario. The barn has been refurbished since with glistening hardwood floors and vintage chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. We decided to go with a rustic but elegant style for our wedding. Our colours are butter yellow and white with pops of teal. Our table numbers are painted wood and we've incorporated wildflowers wherever we can to enhance the barn's charming, organic appeal.
So cute! And as far as my wedding theme? Think shabby chic under the october leaves.
I think it is modern and a little whimsical. It is in an arts building so maybe a little artsy!
My wedding is easy elegance with a touch of romance. It's going to be on a July evening at a wooded campground near a lake.
What perfect and lovely gifts for the lovely ladies in my wedding! I hope I win since these would be the perfect touch to my classic white wedding with a touch of whimsy in the fall.
Our wedding style...natural elegance. The ceremony/reception will be held on the expansive front lawn of a historic masonic lodge. Taking that into consideration, we really want to draw from the surroundings - not compete with them. We are looking forward to creating a garden party feel - light and airy with organic decor that highlights the beautiful grounds and impressive brick buildings.
These are so sweet. I love that the bowls become a keepsake after the wedding. I'm an Etsy junky and will definitely order one for our ring bearer...once I find the perfect quote to put on it!
Our wedding is rustic glam -- pretty meets country... just like us!
My wedding style is organic romantic, vintage modern. :)
Our wedding style is simple elegance. It is going to be at a villa with outdoor ceremony and reception.
classic and elegant!
thank you!
What fabulous bowls! Our wedding is fun and quirky (funky) with a dash of vintage tea party. Our colors are black, green and more green. :)
These are beautiful! We're doing a fall, rustic wedding with browns and greens and lots of woodgrain.
These ring bowls are fabulous :) Our day will start with an outdoor ceremony in a gazebo at a park, then the reception will be at an old restored piano manufacturing company. Simple, Elegant and most important, a reflection of myself and my groom to be.
My wedding is very Kate Spade-y. Basically, it's just going to be awesome.
Our wedding style is woodland forest/fall. The ceremony is in a grove of trees and the reception is indoors in an adjoining restaurant with 200+ candles, iron chargers, and iron candelabras. I love the rich, warm colors of fall and I also love Paloma's Nest!
My wedding style is elegant and classic. I want it to be timeless :)
My wedding style is simple greenhouse elegance with a little bit of playful whimsy!
It's on the first day of spring (03/20/2010), and is going to be on an outdoor covered veranda, with brick walls on one side, and vine covered wood panels on the other. It has high white translucent ceilings that are rounded, and has a strong greenhouse feel. My bridesmaids and I want to evoke a more "pretty" and girlish look, rather than sexy.
I really love the bowls for their minimalist and simple beauty. Would be perfect gifts for my bridesmaids, who have all helped me to create the style of my wedding!
Our August wedding will be rustic elegant, organic, simple, and summery. The ceremony will be outdoors looking out on Vermont hills and the reception in a nearby barn. My dress is light, romantic and fluffy, with a few floral touches that are picked up in the bridesmaid dresses. The colors pick up the shades of Vermont in August - lots of greens and dark brown. The ring bowls would be a perfect gift for my seven bridesmaids. Fingers crossed!
Ohh I love these, so simple! Our wedding will have a lot of sweet elements all tied together, natural, DIY, vintage, rustic country wedding. Can't wait!
Our September wedding style has taken an interesting turn when we reccently found out our venue in Newport, RI had beeen sold and our reception cancelled. We are now re-planning our roaring twenties themed affair in a new location in a short period of time. The venue has three unique spaces so we hope to create a warm, romantic feeling throughout the night carrying guests from a garden courtyard cocktail hour to a candlelit formal dinner and end the night in the third space for dancing in a gorgeous renovated chappel for some big band music.
These bowls would be wonderful gifts to commemorate the day, we have ceratinly learned that wedding planning can take many twists and turns in the past month but we are even more excited than ever to celebrate the big day
My wedding 'style' is very DIY and classy. I guess the two got mixed in together because I've taken a love for unique style, unique flavor, and combined it with some soft details and punches of color. Our colors are Ivory and black, with pops of turquoise and apple/lime green. :)
These bowls are GORGEOUS, and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for them!
Our wedding style is socal beach casual. We just want our nearest and dearest to celebrate with us on our lovely day. No better way to do it than at a warm beach side wedding in orange county!
Urban Cottage; modern yet feminine. ;)
It is hard to say exactly what our wedding style is - except for it is totally us...vintage romance meets rustic chic. We are having a small wedding with only our imediate family. Our ceremony will take place at a privately owned 18th century plantation. For our reception we opted for a 2 hour dinner train ride aboard a vintage train. After the train we will have everyone back to our rental house for cake, cocktails, and the creation of a time capsule.
These are so great! Our style is classic with New Orleans French flair.
Our wedding style is "vintage garden party meets city" (our wedding is in Central Park).
I would love one of these to use for our rings on our wedding day. It would be such a bright spot in my week to win!
My June 19th wedding style is French Whimsical Garden Party. Can't wait. Love Paloma's Nest.
These are great!
Our wedding will be vintage with country charm. Picture old hardwood floors with shimmering chandeliers :)
Weve been describing our wedding as old Hollywood glam plus vintage with a little bit of rock n roll.
Ahhh...I love these bowls! I keep a tiny text bowl that says 'JOY' on my bedside table.
Our wedding style is handmade/homemade rustic chic awesomeness. :)
Our wedding is going to be held in the crypt where King Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon feasted for six days on swans, stuffed with larks, stuffed with sparrows. We are going to be a little more restrained, however, opting for a High Tea in the Library feel with a twist of 50s jump-jive.
We are going modern mixed with traditions that we love, fancy yet hopefully relaxed too. Thanks!
Garden wedding. Whether it will be in LA or Florence remains to be seen.
LOVE Paloma's Nest! And SMP!!! Our wedding style was just decided this weekend as we finally found the perfect venue!! It will be warm ruch Tuscany! With a twist of course. Hoping for a casual rustic family dinner feel- for 150 people! Our October wedding will wave warm tones with pops of vibrant color. Browns and Navy will set the tone and Yellow, Coral and Lime will accent! :)
I would describe my May 8th wedding as Southern Romantic with a rustic twist. We're getting married in Charleston, South Carolina at the historic Governor Thomas Bennett House built in 1825. The house is incredible, with a gorgeous floating staircase; and while the inside is amazing, we are having our ceremony and reception in the secluded garden.
These are amazing, I adore them. Our wedding is simply about us and our love, we think that is "theme" enough.
Our wedding is a Vintage/ shabby chic affair in the Texas hill country. Mercury glass, chandaliers, rustic hardwood floors all complimented by rose and champagne colors. I want a bowl with our signature phrase "Truly, Truly, Truly".
We're having a simple and elegant affair full of romance. Thanks for the fabulous opportunity!
Our wedding is vintage Seattle- with a classy jazz club twist
Our wedding is simplistic romantic vintage. We only had two dates to choose from so we are having a June wedding in our hometown in Florida....outside at a historic home (we and our guests are going to melt!). Lots of beautiful candlelight and gray and purple as our colors, with simple but gorgeous details.
french bohemian artist. thanks you for the giveaway! i have been eyeing these precious little bowls.
Our wedding style will be a blend of classic with vintage touches and DIY projects. The venue is a winery in western WA, which should be romantic and naturally beautiful! Love Paloma's Nest & SMP :)
These bowls are beautiful! Our wedding style is vintage- we're getting married in a hotel built in 1911 right on the coast on Galveston Island.
Our wedding style was termed "European Garden" by our florist! That's the perfect description! A little vintage, a little DIY, and a lot of color! Thanks for doing this giveaway! : )
The vision for our wedding is a fun, not too formal garden wedding that feels like SC. It's important for us to have an intimate wedding to spend time with each other and our family & friends!
Our wedding style is, casual but classy: A summer botanical garden wedding..
Yes please! We're having a casual summer wedding on a lovely June afternoon. Ocean blues with yellow flowers and lots of happy people!
My wedding style is classic, laid back, modern, fun! Yay!
my wedding style is simple and sophisticated...i opted for a hint of silver dress with tiny buttons up the side - just fab. colors = lavender and white - black and white details...silver tie for groom - rings = titanium & platinum...great giveaway!
Our wedding style is going to be art deco vintage glamour mixed with a little southern backyard bbq chic! We're getting married at the hemingway house in key west and mixing two fabulous and spicy families (puerto rico and alabama!). I'm picturing romantic ivory and purples with silver mercury glass and soft gold accents :) a paloma's nest bowl with a fitzgerald quote and holding our wedding rings will be the perfect touch! So excited!
I have a british meets colonial vietnamese wedding style with a mix of modern and vintage items in between since my fiance is british and I'm vietnamese. Lots of tea cups and birdcages to boot! Love Paloma's Nest!
We are having simple, but elegant beach wedding at a house on Lake Michigan. Our colors remind me of the fresh and clean feel of the Caribbean and we hope to set a fun, warm mood.
My wedding style is mostly classic with a mix of some modern elements. I love the idea of having timeless style at my wedding, but I also like the idea of embracing some of the current trends.
Both us like simple designs and clean lines. Our wedding style is modern chic infused with romantic elements.
My wedding style is relaxed, romantic vintage. May 29, 2010 I will marry the man of my dreams!
A country-garden, relaxed atmosphere. No stiff, formal wedding for me!
nadia[dot]torrieri[at]gmail[dot]com
Casual Elegance is how I would explain our wedding plans. We want the elegant (not formal) look, but the casual, fun atmosphere.
Our wedding style is Modern Victorian. Lots of clean elegant details (stripes and clean white or matte black surfaces) with sweet romantic touches (lots of roses and vintage frames/candlesticks). We're planning on an LDS Temple wedding and a reception in Westchester county, New York.
Our wedding is Sex and the City meets Vintage Chic. Luckily for me, my FMIL has tons of cool vintage furniture and other decor that we can incorporate!
Classic, elegant, black tie wedding with black and white color scheme, and some fun surprises and accents.
Modern, vintage, relaxed - basically, clean lines with some old fashioned details. I've loved Paloma's Nest for forever!
Modern with some touches of bright color and country feel...
Technicolor modern wedding with as much glitter as possible. Good music and good food. Family and wonderful friends.
These are so cute! I would like to think our wedding is classy, simple, but elegant! Our reception is at an art gallery and I could see lots of Paloma's Nest items used as decorations! I love it!
So sweet! My wedding is "antique romance"...in February...in the Midwest. Hopefully it won't turn into "snowstorm," because it would be a shame to not have any guests!
Our wedding is something we have lately been calling "The Love Harvest" It's going to be a raucous farm/harvest wedding, with a generous helping of feral whimsy. Think autumn bonfires, family style all-local rustic feast, toasting with homemade pear cider, bluegrass band, and if we're lucky maybe a poi-spinner or some fire breathers.
Our wedding is going to be bright, colorful and fun, but with as many natural, earthy details as possible! I love the idea of using lemons, limes and other fruit as part of the decor!
I like to joke that we are bringing 'Outback Elegance' to the States for our wedding later this year because my fiance and I live in Australia but are returning home to get married among our family and friends. So just what is 'Outback Elegance'? First and foremost, it's natural beauty, with a few touches of luxe. (We'll be married among the mountains/foothills, but it doesn't mean I don't plan to have a fabulous pair of shoes!) And, second, it's an opportunity for us to share our new life with those we love most... Attendees will be exposed to Australian beer (NOT Foster's!), cuisine, crafts, sweet treats, fashion, and more.
Because we are spending sooo much just to fly home for the event, these little bowls would really make a great addition to our day and help us as we strive to remain as cost conscious as possible! (It sure is tough!) Thanks for considering my entry!
Our wedding style is clean and modern. Love those bowls!
Our wedding style is simple, nature, ocean-and-wood-inspired festive love! That's a crazy bit, right? No, it's whites, blues, and amber, and taking place in the woods... though the ocean is my heart. :)
Our wedding style is 'woodsy whimsy'... Rustic chic with a touch of fairytale. We will marry in a barn, serve hot cider in hollowed out apples (which should make for a pretty tasty edible cup, afterward!), and follow candlelit lanterns through the woods to our reception tent in a neighboring field.
Hoping our "Lucky in Love" wedding theme will make us the lucky winners of this bowlerific giveaway!!
These are gorgeous and whimsical! Our wedding is very diverse, but we are sticking to a very literary and rustic southern appeal. I am an English major and a lover of words and books, and I have adopted the southern culture that my wonderful redhead and I have grown up with. Sausage and biscuits, mason jars and bales of hay!
My wedding style is vintage and chic. I want to feel like I'm hosting my nearest and dearest family and friends around a elegant and fun night :) Lots of ivory, dusty rose & gold.
Our wedding style is US....we want everyone to walk away thinking that our wedding reflected exactly who we are, young, fun and IN LOVE!
ohh what a great give away! Our wedding style is " Chic homemade love " with handmade details reflecting us and honoring those that we love while keeping the atmosphere light and fun for all present to celebrate our special day.
My wedding style is country charm with a touch of class
Our wedding will be elegant, family-oriented and romantic. We are getting married on a bay so there will be the calming influence of the water while kids are running around and screaming. I can't wait!
Our wedding will be a southern family style event in southwest Florida.
Our wedding is going to be traditional with a hint of modern spliced in. =)
Our wedding theme is reusability. The dress is my mom's, and hopefully will be my daughter's (when I have one!), the bridesmaid dresses are all $30 dresses that they all said they'd wear again, we're using pictures as centerpieces that we can display in our house, and we are hopefully trying to buy decorations that can be used again. Money is tight, so spending a lot of money on something we'll only use once isn't an option!
october 23rd. full moon. autumn. burnt orange, deep red, dusty yellow. vintage tins. apples. pears. fall foliage. bourbon. oktoberfest beer. southern-style nibbles. chocolate cake. classic rock. pumpkins carved by the kids. old photographs from family weddings. dancing while neil young sings "on this harvest moon." oh, yeah, and the best man i've ever met. i can't wait.
Our wedding style is elegant, clean and laid back with the theme of love birds. Those bowls are so cute! I've been seeing them everywhere lately.
Our wedding style is filled with la pasión! Perfect blend of two cultures...Mexican and Caribbean.
My wedding theme is elegant with a twist! Formal wedding, ceremony, and reception site- the twist is breakfast for dinner and a modern DJ
DIY Simple Chic- My fiance and I are both geology students. It's important for both of us to have a simple wedding without all the overspending. We both have big families so the smallest we could make our guest list is 100. Planning a simple wedding has been relaxing after a day of working on my thesis. So far, I found a $30 Calvin Klein gown that fits perfectly and blue sequined shoes for $20. We are going to have the wedding ceremony in the woods and the reception in a local restaurant. My cake is even simple. My grandfather will be picking up 100 pastries from my mom's hometown bakery in a town of about 9,000 people. We plan to stack the icing filled pastries on top of a cake stand like a pseudo french style wedding cake- just without the baker and all that fuss! Love the white ring bowls. They would make excellent gifts and for the one we keep, our accessories for our kitchen-to-be are all white! Perfect fit!
Our wedding is being held in the backyard of my grandmothers house at the lake. My grandfather passed away a couple of years ago and my fiance and I thought that it would be the perfect way to include his memory in the service. I learned how to swim there and my fiance and I fell in love at the lake. It a perfect culmination of old and new.
Oh I have been eyeing these perfect little ring bowls for SO long! My wedding style is modern elegance, fun, light hearted, cocktail party in a gorgeous museum setting.
We are having a relaxed beach style wedding
I love these ring bowls! My wedding will be very modern and bright. It will be held in Downtown Miami's most iconic building on the Sky Terrace!
Organic - Vintage - Glam. Love these bowls!
I would describe our wedding style as classic, vintage and chic.
Our wedding will be sleek vintage with a streak of modern
Our wedding will be romantic, classic and southern
What adorable bowls! We're going for an urban, modern, romantic wedding.
Our wedding theme is rustic chic but with our own twist- a photo booth!
our wedding style is traditional Indian meets American romantic. lots of red roses and gold sparkles. :) these bowls are fabulous!
Sweet little bowls! Our wedding style is romantic, laid-back, and simple.

Our wedding style is fun, laid back (we'll be eating BBQ) with a hint of vintage flair and bling! At the end of the day- we're in love and getting married!!!!
I've been in love with these bowls from the first moment I saw them!! (like my fiance =) We're having a vintage romance wedding the only way we know how, New York style!!! Classic, a little offbeat, and effortlessly chic.
when we sat down to come up with our wedding style, we both came up with the same words to describe it: classy, casual and fun (we had different orders though) - Since then it's been so much fun watching everything we pick out come together to paint that picture - these bowls would fit that as well!
I would say a mixture of classy, modern, shabby chic:)
My friends are the ones getting married and their style is Victorian whimsy! =) Thanks for this chance!
What a lovely contest! I would say that our theme is rustic elegance with a dash of modern chic- we are having our wedding and reception lit by candlelight under the stars, and dancing will happen in a modern art studio!
Our wedding style is like the best dinner party you have ever been to. Warm, inviting, and totally us (a little bit country and a little bit big city glamour).
love these paloma's nest bowls! they would make perfect bridesmaid gifts! for our wedding we are going for a classic feel w/a little whimsy, all black & white w/a few pops of primary colors.
Gorgeous bowls, have been eyeing them up for a while!! Our wedding is in New Zealand, and is best described as vintage fun in the mountains, bringing the spring outside inside!

our wedding is modern with antique/modern twists! :D
My fiance and I are deployed to Afghanistan, so since the last nice place we went to together was Italy for our mid-tour leave, we will be having a Tuscan theme wedding with all the military traditions (saber arch, men in uniform) :) Thanks for the opportunity!
Modern and with a star theme! I'm folding hundreds of paper stars to use for my centerpieces.
Outdoor casual cool with elegance and charm sprinkled in.
We are getting married in July in an art deco building in Spain and guests are flying over from all over Europe. (and hopefully those gorgous bowls are also prepared to cross the ocean...) Our colour scheme is black - white and limegreen and your website gives me tons of inspiration for designing a lot of things by meself.
We'll be having a modern and whimsical wedding with the main colors, sapphire, blush, and charcoal
I want those bowls! :) Mine will be Old Hollywood. :)
my wedding style is bright and sassy with purple being dominant!
We are going for Modern-Rustic-Romantic...a real mix! The reception is at a 1,000 year old castle overlooking Florence, Italy. Colors are Blush, White, Burlap Beige, with pops of "Cerise", a punchy, pinky red. I didn't want to do the usual Napa/Tuscan rustic thing, and I think what we've come up with will be gorgeous!
We're calling our wedding "Romantic Rustic" because we're incorporating birch wood, garden roses, twine, kraft paper, and my dad's antique bottle collection. It will be in the mountains of northern California at the ski resort where we met. The colors will be apricot, butter, kraft, and blush.
my wedding style is modern vintage!
Were so excited about our "vintage romance" inspired wedding! I've fallen in love with our antique a family heirloom details from our seaglass blue mason jars collection, an abundance of candles and my dress that screams old-world vintage elegance! I can't wait;)
We're having a "Love in the Library" wedding, in Cambridge, England. We're both PhD students. We're night owls, met in the library. Having our wedding in the college (a stunning Victorian building), surrounded by our family and friends (who can't wait 'til we get real jobs and don't have to study any more!)
Thanks for the chance. Love the blog.
Hey :) gorgeous bowls :)
Our wedding is a countryside fete theme, lots of strawberries, candyfloss and bunting :)
Love the cute bowls! Our wedding theme is classic, black-tie with the Fleur de Lis symbol-since it is in New Orleans, LA
Our wedding is rustic with a dash of 1920s glam! and I can't wait! 8 more months!
So simple and elegant, I love them!!
I'm marrying my best friend in April! I'm a writer/photographer and he's a musician. Our wedding is taking place in the courtyard of a 1920s warehouse turned art center--and that's pretty much our theme: vintage industrial shaken with modern organic with an aristic twist. These bowls would be such a special treat to use on that day!
Our wedding will be colorful and casual. Chalkboards, lanterns, and bright flowers. A slight contrast to the end of October.
PS-I was just looking at these bowls on Etsy for bridesmaid gifts! Love them!
My style is DIY and "The Office!" I like doing crafts, and to save money we have done a lot of stuff DIY, and we are theming our wedding mostly around the TV show "The Office" (There have been enough wedding ideas on there!)
First, let me say WOW! 425 comments and its only Tuesday! Not so shocking that so many other brides love this site as much as I do (and want to win this awesome giveaway!)
My wedding style is "rustic elegance." We're getting married in our hometown out west on June 26 with a church wedding and "backyard" reception on a mountain, and I'm trying to capture the rustic and simple wildness of an Idaho summer in a classy and elegant way. From handmade wooden signs to wildflowers in mason jars to the jaw-drop-worthy natural scenery, I can't wait to see how it comes together.
I've been a "DIY-er" for as long as I can remember so needless to say I'm an Etsy fanatic! Caroline's simple yet stunning works of hand made art would go beautifully with our wedding style. Which at this point can only be described as Anthropologie done DIY style. Shades of spring green, with accents of brown and hints of pink work perfectly with the creamy, matte finish of these bowls. Would love to showcase them at our wedding!
style: vintage, rustic, diy, FUN!
vows said under pine trees.
drunken dinner party, dancing by holding each other too close.
i think more of the feeling for the day, and it's just about love, being at the center of all these people reconnecting and making new memories.
Our wedding will be in Charleston, SC in October. The theme is fun and whimsical with red and aqua details. I never would have considered these two colors together before, but I am loving it!
We envision an intimate dinner-party-at-sunset kind of wedding reception. It will be held this June (yay!) in a historic whiskey warehouse with 45-foot ceilings and cool sculptures strewn about. Hoping to be lucky enough to win these beauties.
I've loved these for sooo long!
I would say our style is 1940's swingin' jazz celebration!
These are so adorable! Our wedding style is 'It's a Wonderful Life'... a vintage holiday, Thanksgiving weekend wedding at a historic hotel that looks just as it did in the 1920s and is famous for its holiday decorations. We want it to be formal but cozy... a ballroom full of candles, but doughnuts, too!
Our wedding is going to be garden glamour. It's going to be outdoors with loads of chandeliers and little seating areas and nooks for our guests to mingle in.
Our wedding style is rustic meets vintage charm. Fall wedding, located at a secluded county park, in a large stone cottage-type building that was built in the 1930s. The color scheme includes a wide range of jewel toned reds offset with a pop of aqua. Lots of antique aqua mason jars, and warm candle light. Most importantly its all DIY! :)
My wedding theme is "Classic Southern Soiree" with a touch of modern glamour... I'm using black and white and hints of bright yellow throughout for a pop of color!
Love these bowls- I'm having a vintage garden style wedding in a restored barn. It will be full of lace and wooden elements. Can't wait for 5.22.10 :)
Our outdoor, on-the-river, wedding at my grandparents' home is going to be "sweet and simple" with both country and modern elements. Super excited!
We're aiming for casual vintage elegance, but it's constantly evolving!
We are going for classy with Hollywood glam feel! So fun!
Our is nighttime-bistro-fun. Less than 2 months to go! (3-20!)
our wedding theme is nature-inspired with hints of modernity.
Our wedding style is a little vintagy and classic.
Our wedding style is rustic garden french theme with the ceremony taking place at the beach followed by reception at a old world style french restaurant with alot of wood, stone and tall candlesticks! 3/25/2010 can't come soon enough!
Our wedding style is modern meets vintage with colors of champagne and raspberry.
Our wedding style is modern, sophisticated loungy atmosphere. Our ceremony and reception is in a loft style venue and our colors are black and white with pops of yellow and tons of candles!
I like to think of our wedding as an intimate dinner for our 50 closest friends and family. Since we are having a smaller wedding we want to incorporate unique touches to make our guests feel special. I would love to gift my bridesmaids with the intricate and beautifully crafted bowls. It would be such a special keepsake from them, and something they will always use! Thanks for your consideration!
modern fall theme with many traditional key aspects
My wedding style is Rustic Elegance - orangey, corally, red with hints of champagne and brown.

Our wedding is southern-themed, in the vein of Charleston, South Carolina, my favorite city in the world, and the place where my fiance proposed. It will be dripping with wisteria, sparkling with South Carolina seashells, and decorated with all the colors of rainbow row. It's everything vintage, classic, antebellum and purely Charleston.

modern vintage with simple, chic decor. unstuffy, casual, and fun just like the future hubby and i.
Our wedding style is going to be love in Paris. Europe was our 1st big trip together. :)
Our wedding style is a romantic vintage garden with some Parisian accents (we're headed to Paris for our honeymoon!). Ivory peonies, vintage sheet music covering hundreds of votive candles, tall silver birch wood vases, and shimmery vintage blush runners line banquet-style dark wood tables. My maids are wearing a gorgeous teal that makes the ivory peonies and blush spray roses really pop! The dresses match my wedding shoes - 4 1/2" teal stilettos with ruffles at the toes!
I am loving the bowls. Thanks for this awesome giveaway!
these would make lovely BM gifts. We are having a rustic, Latino palooza, complete with a pinata, Spanish music, wild flowers and tapas.
What a great giveaway!
We want our guests to leave their hearts in San Francisco-- yes, we're embracing everything we love about the city. Great organic food, amazing views, superb music, and even the fog and the hills (during a trolley ride). I would love to give these to my BMs and mother and MIL as a reminder of the event.
Vintage Hawaii! Love the bowls...

Our wedding style is very whimsical, we are having an outdoor ceremony and reception that will be a fusion of Wonderland and a faerie world... think a very classy mad tea party! I love these bowls! My wedding is a casual backyard fall affair. Family is helping to cook desserts. Flower vases made out of the trunk of last year's Christmas tree. A good infusion of the outdoors since that is where we spend so much of our time. It promises to be a good time for all.
These are great! I'm having a whimsical summer afternoon wedding.

Our wedding is class, romantic, and a little modern. We are trying to being elements of the outdoors and nature inside for 200 ppl!
The wedding style that we are going for is elegant with a vintage feel to it.
This bowl set is absolutely adorable. Our wedding is a formal November ballroom affair in a large castle - bold and elegant but with a touch of romance. We are taking advantage of fall's rich color palette and using merlot, champagne gold and browns to give our formal wedding a majestic feel, and bringing in romantic accents with lots of ivory roses and a satin ballgown with hand beading and floral accents for me.
these are so cute! i'm going for a vintage-contemporary wedding with a diy-feel. these would be perfect!
The bowls are practically perfect in every way! I just got engaged and I had never really thought about my wedding day until just now. My Fiancé found your blog and recommended it and now I have tons of ideas. I am just so grateful for all of your fabulous content. Our wedding will be very intimate focusing on old world romance and details.
our wedding style is simple romantic backyard vintage, with all the details being diy and designed by me and my future husband. i love these bowls and think they compliment our style and would be such a sweet way to thank all those that are working so hard with us to make our special day happen!
Our theme is "vintage/rustic/laid back/classy." Lots of themes in one, but we think it works. Love these. I'll probably order one even if I don't win!
Our theme is going to play off of our site, which will be either Bear Mountain State Park (NY) or a Vanderbilt Estate on the campus of FDU (NJ). Either way the theme will be rustic with personal touches that reflect who we are. One of the major (yet subtle) elements will be video games, since we met because of them and he proposed to me while we were working at E3 in Los Angeles, the largest video game expo in the US.
i absolutely adore these bowls! such a perfect and personal touch. my wedding is in nyc this spring - the theme is modern vintage. i love the contrast of old meets new...it is so very new york! our ceremony is in a beautiful stone church, and our reception is in an open white loft that is filled with antiques. we are doing cocktails on the roof, and dinner and dancing in the penthouse. colors are navy, yellow, and charcoal. i love mixing lucite trays with polaroid cameras, big wooden farm tables, with sleek white ceramics...and flowers and candles everywhere...
simple garden classic
Our wedding style is Marie Antoinette...ethereal with a touch of whimsy.
outdoor backyard wedding. : )
Three words I've envisioned while creating our wedding style has been simple, elegant, and romantic. And these bowls are fabulous, love them!!
I love these! My wedding style is romantic, but understated. I'm getting married outside with a river in the background.

Seattle, WA girl meets Billings, MT boy. Custom blown glass chandeliers surrounded by NW evergreen trees. Smoked BBQ ribs with dahlias from Pike Place Market. A little bit urban mixed with a little bit rural. Love Paloma's nest!
Mine is eco-modern, so these would be ideal!
We're having a fall wedding on 10-9-10, in brown, red, orange, and yellow. Lots of silk fall leaves and silk roses in fall colors. The reception is a lounge atmosphere with couches and hors d'oeuvres. It will be a semi-casual afternoon wedding and it's taking place in the Museum of Science in Boston!
Our wedding style is clean, classic and simple - in a very elegant kind of way. I also describe it as crisp :) LOVE IT!
our wedding is taking place in iowa. although travelers of both the states and of the globe, we've got grandparents in iowa and couldn't dream of getting married without them there. my grandma shared with me how her and my grandpa got married back in the 1930s. it was just them, a couple that were their witnesses and afterwards they all went out to enjoy a glass bottle of coke. we plan on having a modern wedding, organic in feel, texture, and mood. but i hope to toast to my future husband with a glass bottle of coke amongst friends and family.
What a great gift idea! These would be perfect for bridesmaids and aunts! My wedding will be a bit elegant a bit vintage - but lots of fun with lots of family!
I have to say our wedding style is indie, laid back and just FUN! I have a hard time describing it - ultimately, I want it represent the feelings/mood I get from watching Hellogoodbye's music video for the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpoW90bckgs " rel="nofollow">"When we first met". My fiance and I are getting married this spring, the weekend of Memorial Day weekend, and are planning to have an outside reception, complete with bonfire, backyard games, sparklers, and loud music.
Our wedding style is bohemian garden party.
Love, Love, LOVE these bowls!! Our wedding style is laid back, vintage-y, peaceful, and FUN! We're getting married at a beautiful old Inn over looking the water and mountains of Maine. I know my bridesmaids will absolutely love these ring bowls as much as I do.
Our theme is "Family Tree," in short. Sort of a formal family picnic, if that's possible? Comfort food, tented outdoor affair =)
I have been admiring these bowls for quite some time now - gorgeous. Our wedding style is traditional, romantic, garden, musical, personal..... held under a grand tent at my parents home with live music!
I am from Nashville and my fiance is first generation Indian and we can't wait for our "East Meets West" celebration.

Our wedding style is rustic elegance. We live in the country and we would like to embrace our roots, but we still want a lovely, elegant affair to celebrate our marriage. A barn wedding doesn't have to be dusty and dirty. We have chosen rich fall colors to compliment our venue space. It's going to be more than I could have ever dreamed of!
Our Wedding style is Elegant City. We are getting married in San Francisco and want to have a formal but fun wedding. So we are going to have a photo booth and candy buffet :)
