One of our commenters said that it wasn’t surprising to see that this wedding was sent to us by Caroline. So true. Her work is always spot on gorgeous so when I see her name in my inbox, I get a little giddy. But aside from Caroline’s perfect pictures, what I really love about today’s featured affair is the total sweetness behind the couple, their sense of design and their approach to wedding style. It’s just so cute, so charming…so obviously easy to fall in love with.

I looove Style Me Pretty – one of the sites I religiously visited while wedding planning. In terms of the wedding – I don’t know if we had a look we were going for because I think at the end of the day, our color scheme or vision for the wedding kind of started to go out the window and it just became a collection of things that we liked. My favorite part of planning by far were the flowers. Initially, I had wanted to create my own centerpieces, bouts and bouquets but the logistics of it all seemed really daunting. Lucky for me, I had a wonderful florist who invited me to come with her to the LA flower market in the wee hours of the morning. I got to pick out the flowers I wanted in my bouquet and got a tour of the market. It.was.so.magical! To thank our friends who helped at our wedding, I also made boutineers out of ribbon and fabric. So I guess in a way, I got to somewhat DIY the flowers.
I really didn’t believe people when they said that the wedding wouldn’t turn out exactly the way I planned. On the day of, there were so many things we had prepared, made, or bought for the wedding that got forgotten, left in the car or lost . I am so thankful that Ben was there to remind me to look around and take in all the love and support of the people around us and not to focus on the little things. The most memorable moments were the times spent laughing with our wedding party, dancing with our parents and Ben sneaking in a smile over his drums as he serenaded me. It was really, the best day of our lives.”

Location is beautiful!
Where did the bride get her hair comb? I've been looking for a comb exactly like that for my wedding. Thanks!
I've been on SMP forever, and this is by far my favorite wedding. Probably because it has a TON of the same details that I plan on using for our wedding :)
