"To Kate R. The Stonecliffe grounds are amazing. That is indisputable. However the management was terrible to say it politely! The "event coordinator" for stonecliffe, that I had shared all my wedding plans with throughout the planning process, was fired the DAY OF my wedding! I couldn't understand why the tables weren't getting set up by the staff or why my bridesmaids and I couldn't get into the reception site to decorate. I then got sat down by the manager, one hour after the time I was allotted to decorate and was informed that the event coordinator no longer worked there. He had "terminated her." He then also explained to me how he has fired a cook mid reception before and had to cook the meals himself! The manager then brought in his wife to pinch hit! so, THANK GOD I planned everything crazily so, including floorplans I designed in illustrator and a rendering of the ceremony site that I did in photoshop, because we had to literally do it all ourselves. SO, to answer you question I would actually not recommend it unless you hire a coordinator and use them for strictly the location only. They were very difficult to work with and handled the situation not well at all. Sorry to bring a negative spin, it was still the day of our lives and we did our best to not let it spoil anything. I would want to know that going in though. I hope that helps, and congrats on your engagement :)"

"Sarah, I must know how you did your video. I am really trying to incorporate a vintage theme to my wedding and I've tried to find an inexpensive company to shoot our wedding. A videographer doesn't seem to fit in my budget :( All the ones that aren't expensive to be honest and not to sound terrible but well they're all kind cheesy. If you could help me out with some ideas I would really really appreciate it. Your wedding was absolutely stunning!! "I absolutely loved it! So much that as soon as my fiance came home I had to show him. His words almost verbatim "That was awesome! if we can't have it look like that then it's not even worth having it". Our wedding is in the San Francisco area, and I have been desperately trying to find a someone who works with a 16mm or even 8mm. The few that I found are outrageously priced ($10,000+). Any suggestions? Bad idea to rent one and have a semi-qualified person to do it?"
