There is something so sweet about this little wedding. Photographer, Natalie Watson, sent it our way and I have to say…it completely charmed me. From the adorable couple to the pretty, understated details, I heart everything about this adorable affair.
Tosha & Will’s soft, intimate hometown wedding took place in Greeneville, Tennessee. The couple had a traditional service followed by an intimate dessert...
We just got a little sneak peek of a brand spanking new invitation line…and I am already smitten. Particularly with this design and its girly but gorgeous color palette, its absolutely perfect choice of typefaces and the sweet, whimsically elegant style. Oh and the letterpress ain’t too shabby either. Sarah, the designer behind the new brand, Truly Smitten, is...
I kind of feel like this post should be over on Backstage! But since it’s not, here goes …
I was having a bit of a tough time getting into the holiday spirit. Lots of family stuff going on. Way backed up at work. (I’ve got a very understanding boss, though.) I was looking for some serious winter inspiration (which would mean going into last years’ weddings) and I happened upon...
I try not to recycle weddings here on SMP, as I always want the content to be fresh and completely original. But, the minute I laid eyes on this wedding, I knew I had to share it. Photographed by Andreas Avdoulos, it’s the wedding of Canada’s House and Home Editor, Suzanne Dimma and is a lesson in restraint, in rustic elegance, in understated style. And I love every...
I heart the holiday season in a big, BIG way. The pretty lights, the trees, the gifts, the hot cocoa and marshmallows. So to celebrate, we’ve asked some of our favorite Little Black Book members to craft some holiday inspired DIY projects. Little crafts that are chic, elegant and would make anyone who received them grin from ear to ear. But the best part, all of the projects can easily be interpreted into...
There is something really great about a wedding that is all fun. For me, it’s the more whimsical, sweet weddings that really hit home…that serve as a reminder of how important it is to design an affair that reflects your personality and not one that reflects what a wedding “should” look like. And if you can do that without sacrificing style, well, that is what makes for a really great celebration.
Photographed by Kirsten Ellis of...
This might be one of the more charming weddings I’ve ever seen. Sent to us by the forever talented Kirsten Ellis of Beaux Arts Photographie, it’s flirty and completely fun. It’s one of those weddings that didn’t take itself to seriously and instead was designed around the cute personalities of the bride and groom. I love that.

This past July, Deborah Nadel designed a calligraphed piece of artwork for one Style Me Pretty reader. She selected Melissa’s entry because she said “it made her heart melt”! (We’ll show you the finished product in just a bit!) But first, we’re happy to share with you the wonderful wedding that ensued … Melissa and Christopher’s wedding!

I knew that you guys would love this shoot. It’s everything that a girl could want…it’s pretty, it’s elegant, it’s romantic. It’s filled to the brim with the most picture perfect details and completely captures the essence of the Style Me Pretty bride. A HUGE thank you to Millie Holloman, Salt Harbor Designs and the rest of the incredible...
The very first From Inspiration to Reality feature that we did blew my socks off. It was incredible for me to see an inspiration board that a reader designed literally come to life. I left the shoot feeling like I was on top of the world, not to mention more motivated than I’ve ever been in my entire life. To see something so beautiful that was designed exclusively for Style Me Pretty is humbling...
I am so thrilled that one of our readers, Kate, designed a board that could inspire such loveliness. This shoot is the perfect example of how to use an inspiration board to translate an entire wedding. It’s about designing a feeling, a vibe. It’s finding beauty in the details and bringing them to life through decor, through flowers, through fashion and style. And...
I am generally blown away by the work that our Little Black Book members are putting out there. I am rarely surprised. But this shoot…totally surprised, totally inspired, totally motivated me to get up really early and start blogging away.
The From Inspiration to Reality Shoot was put together by two of our favorite LBB members...
Every now and then I am at a loss for words. It happens rarely and is usually brought on by something so pretty that I simply can’t find a way to properly describe just how much I love it. Thus is the case with today’s photo shoot. What I can say is that this shoot is the reason that I love what I do so very much. It’s the reason that I feel so incredibly lucky to work in an industry with people that create, people that inspire. It’s the reason that I walk around with...
Last night, I got the pictures in from our latest From Inspiration to Reality Challenge. And I literally cried. Sounds insane, I know…but the shoot that Millie Holloman and Jennifer from Salt Harbor Designs put together based on the inspiration board below is...
This week we have THREE challenges in our From Inspiration to Reality. While you guys are busy designing perfectly gorgeous boards that you want to see our vendors bring to life, our vendors are poring over your entries you’ve made, trying to find the one board that speaks to them the most. The next team to design a photoshoot around one of your inspiration boards is the oh-so-talented group...
