We’re going to be mixing things up a bit this week… don’t worry, we’ll still make sure you get your fill of gorgeous weddings before the new year is upon us. But for a change of pace we thought it would be fun to have some of the fabulous members of the SMP crew stop by to share some of their personal favorite affairs with all of you. The rules were simple, any wedding, anywhere on the web. Where does one even begin?
First up we have the very lovely Jenifer who chose this wedding of Liana and Mike, captured by the forever talented Jessica Claire.
From one of our Little Black Book gurus, Jenifer…
I fell in love with this wedding as soon as I saw the first photo go up on Jessica’s blog. Liana’s dress is to die for. I loved that her family and friends did all of the flowers for the wedding. The thing that strikes me the most with this wedding though, is the simplicity of it. It is elegant, but not extravagant. The color palette is understated, pale pink and blue. The flowers are simple. Each bridesmaid carried a different type of pale pink blooms, and pale pink orchids silver urns were used for the reception.
I really love that you can see the attention to detail Liana and Mike put into the wedding. The location is ethereal, everything coordinates beautifully, and the pictures are, of course, AMAZING as is anything Jessica Claire does. This was a destination wedding and was done on a budget. Liana talks about this some on her blog, and it goes to show that you can have an amazing wedding even on a tight budget if you are willing to prioritize.

very sweet!
That dress is amazing! Which dress is that?!?!
I absolutely LOVE that cake. It's super simple but gorgeous. The broach details are so sweet.
Her dress is by Demitrios....it is totally gorgeous isn't it...and she looks amazing in it:)
Very nice...
I love the dress...I absolutely love the shoes....whose are they and where can we find them?
Thanks Jenifer and SMP crew! We were pleasantly surprised to see this post up here today!
The dress is indeed Demetrios. Since we'd taken so many pictures in it and I have access to so many great designers being in this industry, I sold it to another bride who got married in Italy this summer. Glad it has a new home now! I have to admit, it was tough handing it over to the UPS guy though!
The shoes are actually GUESS ($29 from TJMaxx!) and I found vintage earrings and broach set in a pretty blue that I brought from a lady off eBay - the earrings were clipped onto the shoes. I actually lost one while taking pictures in Santa Monica! My own Cinderella-story. The shoes have been worn on other occasions this year since then, I love them so much.
Also, the flowers featured are from the cocktail hour, we have not released the reception pictures yet online or elsewhere but hope to soon! Every table had a different arrangement.
love love love!!!
Hi Liana! Your dress is amazing! What is the style name or number?
such a pretty wedding!
The cake looks amazing!
I love the soft blue color and ribbons..
Just wanted to let the curious girl know that I started searching for this dress and its style number 3093
Gorgeous dress and very flattering for the bride. The small bouquets are also great as they don't take anything away from the dresses. The fairy floss photo is fun and I'm sure a favourite of the bride and groom. Very quirky :)

I love this dress and have been searching allll over to find it! :) Unfortunately it is now discontinued and so after months of searching I'am still at a dead end. Would you be able to find out if the girl you sold it to will be selling it herself??
