Rising Moon Video Productions

When we asked Style Me Pretty’s LBB cinematographers to send us one of their favorite films from this past year, I have to confess, I had no clue what the difference between a highlight or a trailer was. Might not sound like a big deal to you, but for me, a blog editor, that’s pretty sad. And I was pretty embarrassed to ask anyone about it. Thanks to Naomi at Generations Cinemastories, now I know!

And so today, I can tell you that I have not one, but two terrific trailers from Mike Novelli at Rising Moon Video Productions in Colorado. When I say they’ll each bring a smile to your face in their own special ways, believe me! They will.

First up ~ Allison and John’s wedding. “Their September wedding at the Cherry Hills Community Church was full of tears and happiness and their reception at the Denver Grand Hyatt loaded with laughter and lots of dancing!!! Enjoy …

Sweet … yes?

If you’re not smiling by now, you will be … plus, you may even find yourself doing a little toe-tapping!

Evan and Elizabeth’s wedding trailer from Rising Moon Video Productions

Yes … pretty sweet!

Mike says, “I love shooting weddings in Colorado.  It makes my job so much easier when we’re shooting on a mountain top with blue skies and tall aspens all around! Evan and Elizabeth were so much fun to work with and she was such a trooper! Willing to run down into the trees in her wedding dress and heels … didn’t even phase her when the grasshopper tried to find a new home in her gown!”

For more of Elizabeth and Evan’s weddings, Mike has just posted the highlight version of their wedding film on his blog [here].

Thanks, Mike for your truly terrific contributions to the wedding film industry AND to Style Me Pretty!

Help! I'm getting married in Beaver Creek in March. I desperately need to find a good florist! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so much!

  8. Allison says:

Rising Moon is the best cinematography company! They capture your day in unimaginable ways!!! We couldn't have been happier with their services...and these two trailers above are just a small example of how wonderful their work is, and how great they are at customizing your video to fit your love story. Great work! :-)!

    Hi designershay-
I was married in Beaver Creek in June 2009. We used a florist named Sweet Pea Designs. They did a really nice job. They also service most of the area's top restaurants and hotels for floral arrangements. I can't find their website, but after my wedding there was a article in the Denver post that mentions them and has a picture of Paige (the owner) arranging the flowers for my wedding. Hope this helps! Oh, and here is their email address: spdavon@aol.com

While I'm writing, I have to say...John tearing up in Allison and John's video makes me cry everytime. You two are adorable together! As much as I've loved watching your relationship grow over the past 9 and a half years, I can't wait to see it grow for many many years to come. Love you two!

  10. Joy says:

I don't know Allison and John, but I know that video made me cry! What an inspiring couple!

  11. Kelly says:

    Those are some awesome videos.
