We just couldn’t resist this adorable engagement session from photography goddess Elizabeth Messina. Every shot is pure, warm, and completely charming.

And since we were on the subject of accessories earlier today… check out the bride’s cute-as-can-be hairpiece…

A little about the couple from Elizabeth…
They were so sweet with each other, their love & affection was inspirational and open to all of my ideas for photographs… it was a wonderful afternoon…they were married in october 2009 at the same estate where we took the engagement photos.

I love these shots on the bed! Playful and oh-so-romantic. If you’re in the mood for even more dreamy images like these check out Elizabeth’s blog, Kiss the Groom… it’s every bit as pretty as you can imagine.

thanks for all the sweet words....the head piece is by http://twigsandhoney.blogspot.com/...the dress belonged to the bride (she's had it for sometime)....xoxo...elizabeth
Love the floral headpiece.
She reminds me of an actress... I forgot her name! She is gorgeous and the couple is so beautiful! Love the photos!!!
What a thoughtful collection of images. Engagement sessions can easily become TOO self-aware in the way that wedding photography did and can. These images offer a really lovely glimpse into how the use of props and other accessories can effectively enhance an engagement session. I really enjoy the second image of the couple kissing!
:sigh: I know this is the most random thing I could possibly ask about, but I was admiring the bedding. It looks like an old popcorn coverlet. Does anyone know where it came from?
