There is something completely magical about today’s photoshoot. It’s very Anthropologie, very dreamy. It’s the kind of life that I live inside of my crazy imagination and to see that really come to life is such a treat. Designed by Lucinda Wesson of Chocolate Creative Design, along with help from some of our favorite Connecticut vendors (see full list below), the style is so steal-worthy, I hope you are all saving it in your must have folders!

A truly old-fashioned wedding reception would consist of nothing more than cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, champagne and cake. Inspired by the color and texture of champagne, I hung more than 40 clear, hand glittered and hand-snowed glass bubbles gently above the guests. Textures, layers and a bit of sparkle to capture the light was what inspired a true warm and decadent winter wedding.

A glittery gold-specked overlay over cream satin crinkled linen created the foundation of an all-white dessert table. An antique sterling-silver swan filled with white lilies and glittery spikes anchored one side of the table while apothecary jars filled with clear glass bubbles anchored the other. Small glass globes filled with snow and miniature lit paper houses acted as bases to hold vintage plates covered in coconut and delectable desserts were artfully placed on top. Petite old-fashioned desserts covered the table. Last but not least, a gingerbread wedding cake depicted the Island’s own barn, complete with miniature weathervane and snow-covered truck.

Three glass cloches, each depicting a handmade winter scene, traveled down the center of the table and served as conversation pieces. Shades of white lilies, carnations, spider mums and roses spiked with glittered ferns and colored glass balls filled vintage milk glass and pressed glass goblets. Vintage candlesticks with hand-glittered white candles festooned the table with light. An assortment of clear and purple glass balls danced in between the arrangements. Glittered and illuminated Star Paper lanterns filled the darkened corners of the room and brought in the clear winter night sky.

Total gorgeousness! I'm archiving these photos for inspiration for next year's holiday decorating... it's like a magical winter wonderland come to life!
Thank you so much for such an informative article. As a wedding planner in Gatlinburg, TN, I am always looking for great articles and tips to share with my brides. Please take a look at my website, http://www.everafterplanner.com , and let me know if you would be interested in a spotlight or the opportunity to be featured in my blog. Thanks!
Oh wow!! This is beyond gorgeous and elegant!!!!
The details at the wedding are so so so cute love it!
OH, MY, GORGEOUS! I am in a dreamlike state now. BTW, I adore Anthropologie so that added to my being so enamored. White and jewels tones with that antiqued vibe just give the people in the photos such a glow and sense of tradition and place. I love it!
Does anyone know where you can buy a belt like the one she is wearing? I need one for my dress!
Hi Talia!
That Belt is available from Tova's Store!
Hi, I am in need of some help. I must find the shoes that are in the top picture of this page (T-strap gold heels with the embellishments). I read that someone said they are Anna Sui, but I can't find anything from Anna Sui in a similar shoe or even a website that has helped. When you look at the pics from the wedding the bride is wearing different shoes - are those the Anna Sui's you were referring to? Any help/leads on these shoes above will be so much appreciated! Thanks so much!
I love those embellished shoes as well. Anybody know where they are from?
Hi Shawna!
The embellished shoes are vintage Anna Sui from 5-6 years ago...I would find some fabulous gold t-straps and a glue gun and find some fab gems and glue away!!
I love the gold shoes where did you get them? Jx
Such incredible inspiration! Makes me dream of a winter wedding. Thanks!
