i absolutely agree with your love for C&B! although there are zero C&Bs in the great state of oklahoma, i am a huge fan. from the beautiful dishes (white pearl are on my registry) to the unique one-of-a-kind items (who doesn't want a slate cheese board?), C&B is the place to register. and i would absolutely love all items of this contest!

I love Crate & Barrel because, since I was a very little girl, I can remember going to the big C&B store, fingering the flatware and dreaming of a home filled with the shiny pretty things I found there. I watched my older family members receive beautiful wedding gifts from C&B, and anxiously awaited my turn. Now, it's my turn!
Those classic black and white boxes are nostalgic, thrilling and brand new all at once, and I feel a rush of excitement each time I am gifted with one.

Awesome giveaway! I love these products. I love C&B because they have so many cool designs and functional products for our home. This was seriously my fiances favorite place to register because things were affordable and functional. I love Crate and Barrel for so many reasons - but the number one reason, and the reason I chose to register with them for my wedding, is simply how wedding-friendly they are. There's so many fantastic, stylish things to register for - all at prices that are reasonable, so I don't feel guilty asking my friends and family to purchase them for me. They've got a great online shopping system that makes it easy for guests to navigate my registry and purchase and ship a gift, and for people like my Nana who don't do the whole online shopping thing, they also have hundreds of stores across the country. The reason I love Crate & Barrel is every time I go to a wedding, I walk in there about an hour before I am supposed to be at the wedding, and every time I do, someone always comes up to me, after I print out the registry, shows me to the place in the store where each gift is, and then they always box it up so nicely, and voila! It's done! I just love Crate & Barrel and I get a little peeved when people don't register there because then I know I can't leave getting a present to only an hour before the wedding. I must plan ahead otherwise.
Weddings can be a lot of work and stress but thanks to Crate & Barrel things can also be easy and fun!
I had a blast setting up my registry and it is easy as pie to add/change and review my choices.

I love Crate & Barrel because they pull off a modern yet traditional style. Plus, they host very cute private registry parties for couples, complete with registry how-to's, mimosas, and your own scanner so that you don't need to wait to register until the store is open to the public.

Crate and Barrel is the best at mixing old and new, vintage and modern is such a classic and graceful way! They are the go-to store for all things home. Their unique pieces can also be used throughout each season, I am in love with their new fillable votives, so cute! They were filled with clear rocks all summer and now, artificial snow and jingle bells with holly for the holidays! My husband and I saw and LOVED similiar votives in Mexico on our honeymoon, we were thrilled to see them here at home!
Sadly, I just realized my love for Crate and Barrel this year. I used to live in a small town and the closest store was 4hrs away. So this year when I moved to a big city, I couldn't believe what I had been missing. They have EVERYTHING and it's all classic and very clean looking. Yay another give away! Oh how I love Crate and Barrel (C&B) ..simple yet satisfying! The store is just not a place to furnish my home/kitchen, it’s a LIFESTYLE! Earthy but elegant is my personality & style and C&B helps achieve that at really really affordable prices! You don’t have to be a professional interior designer or chef to shop there, the stores are very basic but "basic" never means "boring" to them! More to the point, C&B is the kind of store you want to thrust yourself into everything they sell there and then say to your self, "See, it's not so hard." I love cooking but even more soo since I started shopping at C&B. The real measure of a successful home store is how dog-eared and sauce-stained your cookbooks get. Call it the difference between shelf appeal and kitchen counter appeal. Want to guess how my cookbooks look lol? As long as I can read the recipe Im still cooking!!

My husband and I (we got married a few months ago) registered at Crate and Barrel and still have a whole bunch of items left. I would not have a kitchen if it were not for Crate and Barrel. They are affordable for the newlywed budget while looking upscale, classic, modern and chic at the same time. Not a day goes by that I don't use something from my Crate and Barrel registry. There is always something I want from Crate and Barrel whether it's a new seasonal item that will be just the right touch or a serving bowl that will perfect for any event.
Crate & Barrel is excellent because it's got pretty much everything you need for any part of your house/apartment -- and it's all classic and stylish, and generally affordable. I love the glassware in particular, and, although I'm not really in the furniture market because I'm drowning in hand-me-downs, they have some really nice pieces! The bars, bookcases and media centers are particularly nice. Anyway, C&B is awesome, and that's all there is to it.
I live in NYC and go into C&B at least once a week. I love that it is a one stop shop for modern couples-- furniture, housewares, gifts, and gourmet treats. There wasn't one part of my Thanksgiving tablescape that wasn't C&B or CB2!!!

2. i know that i will be getting a great product, and that it will be affordable.
3. I know that my purchase will be unique and that it will last.
4. I don't think i"ve ever had a bad c&b experience. Your products have all lasted, your employees are friendly and helpful, returns and exchanges are simple as can be.

I credit Crate & Barrel with bringing my fiance and I closer together. Well, okay, maybe that was a bit of an overstatement. These past few months since we have become engaged, he and I have become true epicureans--cooking, eating, we love it all. I never thought I could ever drag him into a mall, much less a Crate & Barrel, but he acquiesced when I told him that the store was a great place to look at kitchenwares and begin our registry. We spent almost three hours on the first floor of the Oakbrook store alone--becuase I just couldn't get him to leave!! He got such a goofy grin on his face picking up the Caphalon pots and pans, musing over the knick-knack gadgets, nearly pressing his nose against the display case of the Shun knives. I couldn't, for the life of me, pry the little scanner out of his hot little hands. This sounds cheesy, but he honestly kept talking out loud about how excited he was to cook in our new kitchen together, and idealized future holiday dinner parties and soirées. "Maybe we'll get plastic mixing bowls for our kids to play with--they won't make as much noise as the stainless steel ones when they use them as drums." I just told him that once we have kids we get a woodblock for our knives instead of keeping them on a magnetic strip. :)
I love Crate & Barrel! They have such beautiful, modern pieces! And they're reasonably priced! Seriously, love them!
C&B is simply my go to shop for everything for my home - kitchenware, dinning/entertaining, decor, furniture (though I can't afford most of what i want yet, but one day!), even my lunch bag is from C&B!

I love Crate and Barrel because they offer both classic, utilitarian pieces, as well as fun pieces, and pops of color. Crate and Barrel was our first choice for registering. We attended their "Wedding Party" back in October in their U-Village, Seattle location. I loved the fact that they had an event just for Brides and Grooms to play with the products, ask questions, and start their registries without fighting through the crowd during their normal store hours. What a fun morning we had! Plus they gave us a beautiful heart shaped bowel as a gift! Wowzers. My fiance and I feel comfortable registering there because we know that our guests will find things for us that fit any budget, and everything is high quality. Crate and Barrel has that special niche where classic, timeless style meets the festive and trendy. I can't wait to see those beautiful white boxes with black letters 'Crate and Barrel' arrive at our door.
Crate & Barrel is one of my favorite stores for 2 main reasons:
1) They were the only store around carrying an ice cream freezer designed to keep ice cream cold on a picnic which I needed within 2 days for a 3rd date with a woman whom I've been seeing now for almost 6 months (pretty sure it was the ice cream that won her over..), and
2) They are one of the few stores carrying reasonably priced open stock dinnerware in various sizes. It is INCREDIBLY hard to find nice dinnerware with 3 sizes of plates and 2 sizes of bowls, and trust me...I've looked! (and looked, and looked, and....)
Crate&Barrel is the ultimate in home decor and furnishings, so of course it's the greatest for wedding registry as well. Every one of their pieces, whether a chair, napkin, or serving dish, showcases their pairing of style and quality. I love shopping Crate&Barrel because most pieces are affordable, and the items work so well with many types of decor. My only complaint is that there isn't a store in my city!
(p.s. - I have long admired that same bed, perhaps someday it'll be mine!)
I love Crate and Barrel because you can walk through the store and find that everything can pretty much go with everything - and WELL! :) Their pieces are classics and match any lifestyle. We registered for our wedding gifts here and it was wonderful... I could spend all day in that store :) ha!
I love Crate and Barrel because they have everything i need- from the bath, living, and kitchen basics to the red wine aerator. Yes, I need one of those. And it's all great quality with classic design.
I love everything about Crate and Barrel. They have fabulous design. I can always find something I love there. So far, the greatest thing I've found are the sea salt caramels. I also like how they have furniture from reclaimed wood. That's what I call recycling at its best.

I just registered at Crate and Barrel this month. I have done some of my registry online and some in the store too! The store is FILLED with eye candy and has a great mix of products from contemporary to traditional. I love the endless combinations of flatware, table linens, and dinnerware that you can mix and match for any holiday. I cannot wait to have a set of plates and flatware of my own from C&B! My Crate and Barrel wedding registry is doubling as my Christmas and birthday list this year!
I love Crate & Barrel, because it is the one store that my fiance and I agree about everything in. He is a man of simple taste: clean lines, neutral colors, and thinks less is more. I, however, love bold colors, patterns, and alot of visual interest. Registering was starting to become slightly frustrating until we stepped in to Crate & Barrel. I LOVE Crate and Barrel and wish there were more in Mississippi. They have beautiful modern and classic products. Wedding gifts from Crate and Barrel will not make our home feel like my grandmother's but something classic but is still our style and fits our age. Everything in the store screams buy me. Seriously! I am a sucker for anything shiny and C&B always has beautiful shiny stuff. Oh, my favorite are their holiday napkin rings! No matter how hard I try to walk by, their displays always draw me. Even if I say, I'm only going to take a look around for a few minutes, I end up staying for at least an hour. To top things off, all the good finds make it hard to walk away empty handed- you know, a set of candle holders or a hurricane, they always seem to complete my home decor. To add to their amazing products, C&B always has great customer service. I will definitely be registering at Crate and Barrel for our wedding.

Crate and Barrel is a feast for the senses much like SMP! I'm drawn into the store by the bright seasonal palettes. Once in, I'm obsessed with touching all of the beautiful, classic fabrics, glass and china. When I get home, I can't wait to taste the amazing spreads and baking mixes that I've bought. The smell of that mexican hot cocoa says holiday at home every time!

If this doesn't sum up why Crate & Barrel's registry is so fabulous, I am not sure what does : ) - I read SMP every day (and have for the 7+ months that I have been engaged) and although there have been some incredible give-a-ways, I have never entered to win any of them until now. We are having a destination wedding and feel bad registering for gifts. But, everyone keeps telling us that we HAVE to register. So, we finally discussed where to register and Crate & Barrel was the obvious choice. Even so, I dragged my feet registering until I saw the SMP contest, and that was the push to finally get me to register. Having attended 11 weddings this year alone, I sincerely appreciate C&B. Just started making our registries and I'm so glad I saw the reminder post for the CB Giveaway! I'm from a small town and the closest C&B or CB2 is well over an hour away. Anyway since I've moved on from that area and closer to urban civilization, I've become so smitten with C&B and CB2. I love the fresh style yet timeless beauty and functionality. C&B gives you style in options and thats another reason I can always gush over one thing or another. Its nearly impossible for me to pass by a C&B store and not go in...it drives my fiance nuts but he lets me have fun.

I used to wait for my parents to pick me up from evening classes at Crate and Barrel. They worked long hours and they're just always late by nature. So I spent a lot of time in the store - in the beginning, I fumed at having to wait so long. But then I started browsing to pass the time, and surprised myself by actually liking their products.
I love the wooden theme/look of many of their products, their bright and happifying holiday decorations, and the fact that I can envision setting up a home when I walk in.
And I could use a nice knife set.
We registered at Crate and Barrel when we got married many years ago. Our dishes from there were some of the only things that survived our house being flooded after "the storm" in New Orleans. If only all of our other things had been as durable as Crate and Barrel's!!!

Once my husband and I got married and moved into our new home together, to our dismay we found out that water was leaking into our already finished basement. We ended up having to spend a lot of our wedding money on redoing the basement instead of completing our kitchenware/bedding sets. ;( This Crate and Barrel kitchenware set would help us out tremendously!

The thing I love most about Crate and Barrel is their classic styling. There are definitely items in colors and styles that can be trendy or seasonally appropriate, but these are items that you'll always want to have around you, that will always be in service around your home, pieces that you won't get tired of looking at. The Crate and Barrel items around our home get used frequently and are removed for other things. That's the way things should really be, in my opinion.

I bought some kitchen towels from Crate and Barrel 6 years ago. They've been washed hundreds of times and the colors are still bright, the edges aren't frayed, and they look pretty darn close to new. So quality would be my reason to love Crate and Barrel.
Aside from loving their updated-classic look (especially the colors they pick for things - always fun) I really love their customer service! I ordered a huge serving platter that arrived broken - I called to let them know and they put a new one in the mail, no questions asked, no need to return the broken one. So great!

i love c&b for oh so many reasons!! it was a no-brainer for registering! i found registering VERY overwhelming, especially because my fiance and i don't own a home yet. there is just SO MUCH stuff out there! how to choose practical AND stylish things that will serve us well in our apartment and later on in life when we own a home? how to make sure everything coordinates when you're purchasing for an imaginary home? can work equally well for a fun get together with friends and a nice dinner with my new, extended family of in-laws? crate and barrel made it SO easy--everything coordinates well so we feel like we have a cohesive style that isn't bland or generic. every piece can be dressed up or down. everything is practical AND fun. we're so excited and happy with our crate and barrel registry and just keep adding to it! can't wait to see what we receive!

Before we registered, I always wondered why everyone registered at C&B (and for all white dishes!). Then we went through the registration process and ended up at. yes - C&B. They just have the best selection of things that will last a long time (but we didn't register for just white!) and have been so great about returning and exchanging things!

I love to host, everything from girls night in to dinner parties for all of our couple friends! Crate and Barrel makes my job simpler by presenting ideas in a clean manner and providing products that make me look like Martha Stewart! The men like to check out the knives and the women love the napkins and placemats I use for my tables!

C&B's products are extremely well made and durable. We don't have one locally so anytime I shop in their stores, my stuff has to come back via plane. I've NEVER had anything break or chip. Plus everything is classic and beautiful.
Just walking into Crate and Barrel makes me drool. It is all that I have ever wanted my house to be and more. I just walk around picturing the separate rooms of my dream house; dining room with Crate and Barrel centerpeice, kitchen with bamboo cuttingboard and a pass rack above the counter, Crate and Barrel living room. The only thing I don't like about Crate and Barrel is that my house self esteem plummets to rock-bottom when I step indside my own little house after browsing through the store. my wife and i got married last year and believe it or not...we didn't register! we then moved to the southwest where there isn't a crate and barrel (at least here in nm and we were coming from boston where, omg, there are enough to keep me sated). the cheapo pans we brought on our move have already all bit the dust except for the last one which is down to one handle (for shame, they were ikea, i know, i know) and we kick ourselves every day that we didn't get the kitchen essentials we should have asked for after our nuptials. we are constantly in the kitchen and for some reason buying quality kitchen stuff has just been on the back burner (pun intended). this would be the best wedding gift...what we were originally too shy to ask for.

I LOVE ole crate & barrel cause even as I sit here preparing for impending surgery in only a couple of days, something that I am considerably nervous about... I look at their website and at my registry and a huge grin drifts across my face. I temporarily forget about my anxiety and fears that I have been sitting with. Besides, if I'm lucky I'll have one of their infamous white boxes with black lettering on my doorstep when I return from the hospital!
