Crate and Barrel Giveaway!
We wrapped up yesterday’s day of gorgeousness with an amazing giveaway by Chewing the Cud and since we have another day of pretty, I thought we could start the day with a giveaway as well! This one by our favorite retailer ever, Crate and Barrel!

Today, however is all about giving. In celebration of the upcoming holiday, we’ve picked a few of our favorite Thanksgiving inspired treats…
1. Everyone knows that the after thanksgiving sandwich is by far the best part of the entire meal. Well, take it one step further with this amazing Cuisinart Griddler. Two slices of sourdough bread, carved turkey, stuffing and a little cranberry sauce…voila. Everything you could ever want in a sandwhich.
2. And maybe next year, rather than hitting up the parents, you can host Thanksgiving yourself! Show off your cute new life and your cute new hubby. Just make sure to pick up this book that explains how to do it all.
3. The Roaster. It’s basically a must in any kitchen. Obviously good for the turkey, but also great for weeknight roasted chickens which can turn themselves into incredible penny saving leftovers…chicken soup, chicken chili, the works. It’s a must-have.
4. I love, love, love these square serving bowls. They add that little bit of modern charm to your table while still allowing your food to take center stage. Completely fabulous.

1) Painini press - i've been dreaming about it for awhile, though the financee has yet to see the benefit of hot toasty brie and tomato paninis, or nutella (and possibly banana) paninis.
2) uno belgian waffle maker - i don't make breakfast that often, but if i had a waffle maker that would change. chocolate chip waffles, berry waffles, wheat waffles (with chocolate chips)...so many options.
3) convection toaster oven - why heat up the whole oven when you can use a convection oven? perfect for late afternoon or evening snacks.
4) brio dinnerware (in green) - with all the cooking i'll need some cool plates to put the food on. the green plates go great with my kitchen/house colors. the small plates are perfect for all the snacks that will be made;)

Even though we are in the middle of hosting my family and in laws to be, plus assorted orphan friends (for a total of 16 people!) for Thanksgiving, I have to get in on this action! In honor of the holiday, thing I wish I had to help me in this endeavor:

Here are my 4 favorites - I can't wait to see if Santa brings them to me this year!
1) Bialetti ® Hot Cocoa Maker - My husband and I love hot chocolate so this has been on my wish list since I first saw it on the website.
2) Mario Batali Bistro Pan with Lid - I am slowly, but surely, becoming a better cook. This pan holds heat and could keep the dinner warm while I get the finishing touches all done!
3) 24-Cup Cupcake Carrier - I love baking - even more so, love sharing my creations with my friends and family. This would be perfect for transporting them without smooshing the frosting on top (which always happens to me!).
4) Panini Grill - My favorite panini is filled with artichokes, turkey, basil infused tomato spread and provolone - yummmm!
