Santa Barbara Wedding by Lisa Vorce and Megan Sorel

Anyone that reads Style Me Pretty knows about my obsession with Lisa Vorce. She probably thinks that I am completely crazy, a borderline stalker. And I kind of am. Lisa’s work is just so ridiculously gorgeous, I turn into a giddy school girl everytime I get my grubby little hands on one of her affairs. And this particular wedding, although a total departure from Lisa’s muted color palettes, is just about as good as they get.

SWOON. The design is crazy beautiful and the photographs that Megan Sorel capture, are perfection. Megan is SO good at what she does, snapping photographs that are pretty darn close to perfect. I am so thrilled that the two partnered up for a wedding…and that we get to share it here on SMP!

Here are a few deets from Lisa…

Kelly and Gerald join our list of fabulous Texan clients. We LOVE our Texans! Kelly was all about bright, bold colors and anything fun. She has an infectious laugh and her energy and spirit were carried throughout the destination wedding weekend. The wedding itself was held at a gorgeous ranch just outside of Santa Barbara. For the ceremony – we used a combination of fruitwood chiavari chairs and benches with beautiful linen slip covers. We peppered in hot pink and bright orange pillows for additional pops of color.

Mindy Rice did the most amazing petal mosaic down the aisle, and created beautiful oversized floral statements that flanked Kelly and Gerald at the altar. Ladies were given hot pink or orange parasols – which created an amazing sea of color during the ceremony. As the guests made their way over to the cocktail reception, they found their escort cards dangling from a split rail fence we created. We used our favorite silk dupioni ribbon to hang the cards. Another amazing display of color.

I mean, COME ON! How amazing is this. And although it’s totally out of the question for most budgets, there are SO many steal-worthy ideas tucked inside. From the insane color palette, to the ribbon accents and the adorable escort card board…every detail is totally perfect. Totally.

More coming up in a bit!

For those of you looking for similar centerpiece bowls, I just saw this listing on Craig's List. What a steal, if I didn't already have a different idea for centerpieces, I totally would have scooped these up!
