Jessica Claire is great for a couple of reasons. For one, she’s really good at what she does. Two, she’s really generous with her time and her knowledge. And Three, she understands how important the details are in photographing a wedding. Today we are featuring a photography workshop that she held for up and comers and industry pro’s alike, all styled by the INSANELY talented Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings. Every vendor that participated in designing this affair is pure talent…from the gorgeous flowers by Lauryl Lane to the sweet paper touches by MaeMae Paperie and B. Poetic.
Here are a few more pics to drool over that some of the photographers attending the workshop shot. First up, Kari Sikorski…

Next up, Rachel Clare…

And a few more from Richelle Dante…

Here is another look at the vendors who helped style the shoot…

More to come in just a bit!
I love those hot air balloons, sooo adorable! I would love to have the directions on how they were made!
I love the turquoise accents...
Where is the flower in the second brides hair from? I am looking for something similar to put in my hair =)
I MUST know who designed the dress in the first row!! ...its gorgeous!! :)
I looooove the last image on the right (the one that lets us peak through the eyelet of the chair to see the centrepiece). I love love love it. Great colours, great photography- stunning decor! You can almost smell a beautiful soft cottony (sp?) fragrance....I'm thinking of clean laundry and a summer breeze. Oh, I love it! thumbs up!
Where is the venue? It is beautiful!
What great style. I love the colors and the antique feel. Beautiful!
Hey Gals. I have a few answers for you!
In terms of the floral hair piece, it was designed by Kaitlin of B. Poetic. Be sure to check out her work...it's amazing!!! You really can't go wrong.
The white hot air balloons in that shot were just large 3 foot balloons that we embellished with ribbons, paper penant flags and handmade paper rosettes. We just used tape to affix the trimmings on. The other hot air balloon was made from paper mache. We had intended to do tons of these, but they kept popping. When you're working with such a large piece, don't use a balloon like I did. Look for something with more structure...chicken wire perhaps. I used liquid starch and newspaper for all the layers...the last layer was pages ripped out of an old reader's digest book. Good luck in all your crafting adventures!
Wow. Just stunning. My favourite detail is the drink cart. Love her dress.
awesome job summer! i love her and her work!!!! she is soo talented!
This shoot is so stylish!! Bravo!!
I love the shot where the groom kissed the bride on her forehead in front of a paper curtain made of crepe paper in colors of white and blue and the big paper ball decor accenting the whole outdoor picture. Photographer did a good job of capturing the bride's enigmatic charm and beauty awed by the groom's sweet, undying admiration!
what are those blue/gray ball flowers? they look like Billy Buttons/ Billy Balls (Crespedias) ! (except not yellow!)
i LOVE this shoot! gorgeous vintage details. the hot air balloons are genius. the paper rosettes are so lovely -i'm definitely going to steal that idea!
holy moly! I love those polka dot, rufflie shoes! Where are they from????
