Flowers Uncut on TLC Tonight!
You’ve probably seen the ads for TLC’s brand spanking new show, Flowers Uncut. Jeff Leatham is one of those complete visionaries that designs flowers for some of the world’s most elite players. And lucky for us, he is bringing his genius to the tube with some of the most gorgeous, over-the-top weddings and events you’ve ever seen. The minute I laid eyes on Eva Longoria’s RIDICULOUS flowers, I literally fell out of my chair. Well, the show is debuting tonight and the fab team at TLC has sent over a little sneaky peek…exclusive for SMP readers!

I completely agree with his "scents" of smell theory. We always try whenever possible to add a hint of something scented into the brides bouquet... like sweet pea or even bayleaf... the more senses you can touch on, will heighten the memory. Gardenias are perfect! Can't wait to see the whole show!
I'm excited for this show tonight! My husband adored a lemon verbena perfume I wore, so I had my florist incorporate lemon verbena in my husband's and his groomsmen's bouts - the scent was calming and amazing, and he loved it. For our day after session, he had a fresh mint boutonniere that also smelled amazing. Less girly than flowers, too.

Cool! Great concept "Fragrance Memory" So true. We do the same when we meet with our potential clients...try to create a sensory experience that feels and smells "homey and comfortable."
Can't wait! and...great video. Fragrance memories are some of the strongest for me, especially when it comes to major events. Nothing matches the intent of a wedding, then just that...lasting memories!
As a florist myself, I and my friends and co-workers love to take inspiration from Jeff and incorporate it into our designs. I have been hoping for TLC to have a show on flower design. I can't wait!
I totally fell out of my chair when I saw Eva Longoria's flowers too!! What I wouldn't give to have been able to shoot that wedding! Sheesh! I'm really looking forward to this series! Thanks to TLC for the sneak peek!

I love his take on flowers and fragrance memories! We are planning on having both Gardenias and Stephanotis (I am not a fan of roses) because my Grandmother and Godmother had Gardenias and my parents had Stephanotis at their weddings. I can't wait to see more!

Thanks for the preview!! I am so excited about this show :-) I liked his point about Stephanotis on the lapel. Gardenias are my favorite smell and flower so they will be an important flower for the day... just need to be careful because they bruise so easily...
