It’s impossible not to fall madly in love with this photo shoot. It’s simply stunning with a warm and cozy style that would make any girl swoon. That would make any guest feel like they were attending something truly special. Designed by Candice Dowling of Jubilee Events and photographed by Carla Ten Eyck, this shoot is a lesson in gorgeousness.

From Jane Rynaski of Just for You who designed the gorgeous flowers for the affair…
Taking my lead from Candice’s vision of a modern, yet vintage look and the backdrop of the gorgeous Tyrone Farm in Pomfret , Ct I saw the opportunity to take a theme and run with it. It was a play of contrasts… old and new, dark and light, soft and hard. For the bouquets I used soft romantic flowers like creamy tulips, ranunculus, garden roses and anemones , I contrasted the spring softness with the addition of autumn materials like golden bittersweet, grey dusty miller and brown scabiosa pods to add texture and interest finishing one in burlap and the other in velvet ribbon.

From Candice at Jubilee Events…
Our color story was white, yellow, brown and green with hints of silver in accessories. We used fun glass candle holders from CB2 and arranged them through the gorgeous and eclectic arrangements that Jane created.
The table was full of fun details: hand calligraphed place cards by Annie Lloyd of Pretty Mail Calligraphy. She wrote them on pieces of natural wood vainer and we garnished them with small pears. We layered the table settings with pieces from pottery barn, crate and barrel, pier one and anthropologie. Our vintage napkins came from my private collection, and the gorgeous ivory burlap table linen came from cloth connection.
The sweet table had a ton of confections made by Corine of lovely lollies: she created yummy smores cupcakes on a lollipop, complete with gram cracker crust, chocolate cake, and a marshmallow frosting! She also made delicious caramel kettle corn that we placed in brown craft bags, candied applies with caramel and chocolate covered cranberries. We had maple sugared walnuts, chunky oatmeal and cranberry cookies with white chocolate drizzle and little mini pumpkin bites with chocolate all arranged on vintage silver trays I found from my grandmother’s personal collection.

Thank you so very much to Carla Ten Eyck and all of the vendors that took part in this absolutely beautiful photo shoot. It is sure to inspire bride after bride after bride to design a wedding that is just as warm, just as elegant.
Absolutely gorgeous! and love the dress...who is the designer?
Beautiful....swoon is right :) By any chance, did the tulle wrap that the 'bride' is wearing, come from Bonzie in Ireland? Thx!
I absolutely LOVE the play on the light and dark...modern and vintage! Absolutely brilliant. Everything came together perfectly. What a beautiful bride! All the vendors worked seemlessly together! I love, love, love it!
I am dying over this shoot! Getting married in northeast CT and I am ready to change my venue. LOVE the brides dress. Any idea who designed it?

The confections look amazing. I can't wait to see more from Corine and Lovely Lollies! My first pick for favors at my events! Kristie
this is lovely! i have a question that may be silly but i've been struggling with. i adore the idea of vintage/mismatched plates but how does that work when the food is served? do the servers come and take the plates? i realize the chargers would stay, but what happens to the plates stacked on top? i hope this question makes sense! and i hope someone can clear this up for me! thank you!
Unbelievably beautiful!
where can i find out more info on that dress?!
(Gasp!) This is so stunning!!!
Stunning:)
This is so lovely! I love the candy apples and the little brown bags filled with caramel popcorn.
The rich colors are very soothing, especially the one of bride in front of the wooden barn door.
Stunning display. Thanks for sharing!
fabulous photos!!! the place settings are gorgeous and the caramel kettle corn is such a great idea!
I don't even know where to start... seriously gorgeous!
Such exquisite style for a wedding gown, stylish yet elegant. I love the goodies and the flower arrangements too, very classy. You chose the right colors for the perfect setting. Simply awesome!
The bride looks fabulous with her lovely gown. I love the silver ware, the brown natural wood on the wall and the kettle corn looks very yummy. Vintage and elegance well-blended.Perfect shots for the perfect setting...great job!

I have never, ever questioned SMP judgment til now...how in the world is this fall? I LOVE it, but could be for any season...for someone who is planning a fall wedding, I was more than disappointed to see this after the tease about a fall inspired shoot. DARN!
What I mean to say is, this seems like a white themed wedding with some fall accents (caramel corn/apples and cider). It doesn't seem like the FALL theme was carried through the whole wedding.
gorgeous detail, such a stylish wedding theme.
Christian I love your feedback- I was the photographer on the shoot and wanted to let you know what we were thinking:
here is what we were thinking for our Fall inspirations: while the dress IS white the flower girl accents of the moss green sashes and chartreuse flower girl wands add a fallish color pallette to the dress decor as do the vintage gold gown paired with the gold shoes and fur stole. We saw gold as a great color for fall and it paired well with the greens and yellows.
The flowers were very non traditional Fall which I LOVED! Jane did such a fabulous job - garden roses, anemones, scabiosa pods??!! Very non traditional fall flowers!
How many times do you see people use reds and oranges for Fall? And while it is beautiful it is very predictable. Maybe that is why you don't see Fall immediately when you see our shoot, because we were trying something new? Which is what we wanted, of course :)
For bridesmaids dresses try the gold and NOT red! That would be so awesome and new and fresh, paired with these awesome color accents that Candice from Jubilee, Jane from Just for You Florals and Beth from the White Dress by the Shore all pulled from- the green, gold and brown...
Hope you can see Fall now? At least our version of a Fall Wedding on the rolling hills of Connecticut...
This screams Fall to me. I love, love, love using a super soft, elegant color palette for Fall bringing in quintessential Fall goodness through details. I don't think that color palette alone should determine whether something is Fall, Spring, Winter, etc....I think that it's the overall feeling you get when you experience it. The warm and cozy ambiance, the yummy Fall treats, the glow from the candles. It's the perfect Fall evening for me!
Great job making this feel "fall" all while avoiding cliche! Very inspiring!!
I have to say that it was a privilege to work with such an amazing group of vendors! This photo shoot was inspirational and the location was breathtaking. Candice did such a phenomenal job with setting the stage for a fall wedding! The colors were earthy, warm, amd wholesome. Makes me want to go apple picking to bake myself a PIE!
Where are the shoes from?? I love love love them. I've been on google all day searching for t strap mary janes and can't find anything like them. I 'm searching for a pair for my november 14 wedding and love the details of this shoot.
Beautiful!!! It's so funny how things happen....I find Tyrone Farm and fall in love, especially since it is in the corner of the state where I grew up. Then I make my way to White Dress by the Shore and find a fabulous boutique with a wonderful sense of style and personality -- plus, people who go out of their way to make you feel special. And then you manage to pull it all together with a fall inspired photoshoot when my wedding is 9/5/2010. I can't tell you how excited I was! There are definately bits and pieces that I will be incorporating into my wedding. I'm already thinking of my mom's vintage fur collared gold cardigan, with pewter rhinestone buttons that I just happen to have in my closet! Much love to Ian at Tyrone farm too. He has been a dream to work with.
Whether the bride would like a vintage look or a modern, contemporary look, http://www.irisdbridal.com/catalog/custom-veils " rel="nofollow">custom bridal veil bridal veils are always the answer to completing the look on the wedding day. Being the crowning glory, it gets the most attention as an accessory and must be matched according to teh dress and the ceremony.
Thanks for featuring our shoot, Abby!! It was such a great collaboration between all the vendors. We had an amazing time and loved doing it!
To answer your question, Nicole -- you can achieve the mixed match look in a real life table setting by renting tableware similar to the ones show above. Your local rental company may have several china patterns (I know Party Rentals Ltd. does). In the past, we've had a charger and pretty dinner plate on the table and served a bowl of soup or gazpacho over it to achieve the layered look while eating. I don't recommend having too many layers on the table -- it becomes clunky and confusing to guests.
Also, I'll chime in about "fall themed". I don't like the word themed -- prefer inspired. Seasons mean different things to different people -- when I think of fall I think of thanksgiving and eating on my grandmother's silver, delicious veggies and fruits, warm and rich colors, branches, wood, dynamic textures, etc. I smell apples, cinnamon, crisp air, dried herbs, sugary confections. Fall doesn't have to be pumpkins, gourdes, and leaf motifs -- and our shoot certainly was not :)
xxox
These photos make us want to be at that wedding today and soak up all the fall-like beauty! great job!!
These pictures ooze class & elegance. I especially love the vintage-esqu accessories. Lovely.
Scrumptious! This shoot makes me think of a warm fire in the fall, hot cider and getting cozy- If only you could do it all with this kind of style!

I love caramel apples so much I might die if they were at a wedding....my camera covered in caramel standing in the corner missing the dance because for some reason I just can't get enough of them. I'm up for it, though, maybe one of our Fall '10 brides will eat up this post and I get two things I love in life...a wedding and a candy apple all in one :)
Great shots and design!
I love the rustic with the ivory, and can really see this as fall! Imagine looking outside and having bright yellow and red leaves coating the landscape. I enjoy this take on fall for sure!
