I think if you could turn a glorious fall sunset into a wedding, this might be it… Together with many talented vendors, this couple transformed their idea of a beautiful, no-fuss affair into a stunning event that seemed to perfectly compliment their easy-going personalities. Thanks again to Lauri from Zoom Photography for sending it our way.

From Karli and Nick…
We let the location set the stage for all of the many details of the day. We chose a caterer, Living Room Events, that understands the importance of using local and seasonal produce. We felt it would be so special for our guests to experience local, fresh produce, especially if it came straight from the farm. We really liked the idea of finding and using little things that made the day completely unique to us. We found so many beautiful, handmade items on Etsy, from the sweet cotton lovebirds on top of our cake, to the bridesmaids’ beautiful citrine and gold bracelets. One of our favorite finds was the distressed white wooden “S” for “Spence.” When we bought it we had no idea what we would do with it, but we just loved it!

Finally, in response to Abby’s unbelievably sweet comment in the first post of this wedding… I have to say THANK YOU!!! I can’t say enough about the brilliant, hard-working team here at SMP. It’s an incredible crew and I really feel very proud (and insanely lucky) to consider myself a part of it. So, I hope to be back often… because, as you can imagine, I’ve fallen head over heals for my job.

The signs are a cute, more tailored departure from the wooden board signs. Very nice touch!
Love the idea of the dancing sleepers. And love the canopy as well. Everything looks perfect.
Where did you find the wooden S? I love it and would love to find a W!
I believe that they got it on Etsy.
This was the best wedding I've ever attended. Thanks for showcasing it!
Yay for Old Navy Flip Flops! I love that they are 2 for $5 most of the time or $2 a pair on clearance. It is such a good touch and the wedding guests like to know that you've thought of them by providing them. Plus with so many color options you can match your color palette easily! Love it!
The tent was actually provided by Zephyr Tents - we would love to be in the credits! Thank you!
Thanks for letting us know Jenny! Just changed it for you. Gorgeous tent!!!
LOve it!
The last photo exemplifies why we all love weddings! Such a sweet image. Awwwhhh!
So excited this wedding was published here! I am very proud to be a part of the team that helped create this event. Such a beautiful (inside and out) couple. Would you mind putting LUSH FLORAL in the 'credits' section? Thanks a million....JF
Of course! So sorry I missed you!
Every thing is so cute, mostly the location you have created, but didn't get any idea behind dancing shoe. Is there anything special behind this idea??
I would love to know where they found the cute chalkboard shapes!
Michelle. I just got the scoop on the signs. They bought the signs and then spray painted them with chalkboard paint, they went to Michaels, but you can also get the paint online http://www.dickblick.com/products/krylon-chalkboard-paint/ " rel="nofollow">right here.
Thanks for the shopping tip Elaine, I was just about to ask as well! :O)
Thanks again for the beautiful posts, Elaine! And a HUGE thank you to all of the vendors that helped make our day so beautiful!!! And of course, thank you to Lauri Levenfeld with ZOOM Photography. She is such a gifted artist and we feel so fortunate to have found her to capture our day! Love from Karli & Nick!
