For anyone who is looking for a little high glam, a little seriously fabulous inspiration, this is your lucky day. Filled to the brim with fashion, style and details that would make any girl swoon, this affair just happens to be Lisa Hoffman’s sister…so you just know that it’s going to be good.

From Lisa Hoffman of Ceci New York…
I believe all weddings are special. And each one offers a different take on personal individual style which I love to experience everyday with all my different clients. Personalization is a big trend in weddings and this wedding that I am about to share with you is extra special because it’s my younger sister’s wedding!

Christie and Danny just got married over labor day weekend at the historic El Cortez Hotel in San Diego and it truly was a wedding full of inspiring personal style. Their theme was Old Hollywood, which is a trend that is still going strong. With its classic and timeless appeal, how could you not love it? But what I love is that Christie put her own touch on this theme and made it her own.

Christie’s dress is Vera Wang, jewelry from Carolee Jewelry. She infused champagne golds and antique coppers into her bridal bouquets. The hydrangeas were actually spray painted! I loved the unexpected color palette for flowers. So different. Flowers were done by Jennifer at Nantucket Florals.
Each of us bridesmaids had a different vintage hairstyle and our own individual feather jewelry hair pieces. The bridesmaid dresses were hand made by my mom but inspired originally by Priscilla Of Boston.

All the photography is courtesy of the fantastic fine art wedding photographer, Justin Lee. He believes in bringing style and grace to his photography and his goal is to create beautiful, vibrant, timeless, fine art images while being gracefully interactive. An as a bride on your wedding day, the nerves are running high, so you want to find a photographer that makes you feel incredibly comfortable and sexy while capturing the most outstanding images for you. As you can see, Justin will not let you down.

Coming up next, the AMAZING invitations and paper accouterments that Lisa crafted just for her sister’s big day. They are GORGEOUS to put it mildly.

Amazing wedding! LOVE, love, love the florals!!! Thanks for sharing :-)
This is awesome-just awesome. Can you give me any information on the bridesmaids hair pieces..??they're just what I'm looking for! Thank you
Weddings in San Diego are so beautiful - I'm so happy I live here!
This bride is absolutely stunning! If she isn't a model, she should be :O)
Or maybe she should be a wedding consultant (if any of these ideas were her own). Her wedding details are amazing!
I am in love with that dress!
the bride's hair piece and jewelry is so gorgeous! do you where it's from?
Beautiful wedding! The gold hydrangea is a fabulous touch. As a floral designer, I am delighted to see florist "think" outside of the box.
I'm so glad you love Christie's wedding and it's inspiring you all. The hair pieces were either hand made or bought from Etsy.com actually. They have a huge selection for really great reasonable prices. Here's the direct link http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=handmade&search_query=vintage+feather+hair+piece&order=date_desc&ship_to . Her jewelry is from Carolee www.carolee.com. I'll let her know that she has a calling in the wedding industry. And thanks for the compliments. She really is a gorgeous bride!
The bracelet is to die for! I can't find it on the Carolee website - but would love to be able to find it, if it can be found somewhere else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Her sister is gorgeous! What a beautiful couple and amazing wedding. I adore the bottom of her dress also. A truly lovely wedding! I love the photo of the little ones with them and the little fella in his dapper hat!
Wow, now THIS is a beautiful wedding! I love when themes are carried through so seamlessly through every detail. I can't wait to see the rest. Absolutely 100% amazing.
Have to add my LOVE in here! I LOVE her bouquet! We see so many lovely bouquets on SMP, but Christie's is really different!
Handmade bridesmaids dresses! Hair pieces from Etsy! This wedding is definitely after my own heart. BRAVO for such a stylish execution!!!
Does anybody know where the bride got her dress or the designer's name? It's beautiful
CONGRATS CHRISTIE!! The wedding looks absolutely lovely! Christie was our Space Designer for THE PRIMPING PARLEUR and The Parleur Girls want to wish her all the happiness in the world! Lisa, I can't wait to see the invites! I am sure they are BEYOND beautiful!!
Thanks Lisa! Christie's dress is Vera Wang. I believe she got it at a boutique in San Diego but we all know you can find Vera pretty much anywhere these days. She looked amazing in it, didn't she?
By the way, if any of you are looking for a great (and very reasonable) seamstress to make your bridesmaid dresses, my mom is completely ready and willing to help! She has been making her own clothes since she had to learn to sew when she was 12 years old. I've used her my whole life and of course, highly recommend. You can email her at mymarilynn@yahoo.com or call at 760.753.3689. Give her your vision and she'll help make it a reality!
What a blast we had documenting such an amazing wedding! Everything about the day was perfect and Christie & Danny's unique style came across in every detail. I was SOOOOOO inspired in every moment and It was an honor to be a part of such a stylish, creative, beautiful event. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love!
What is the style of her Vera Wang dress. It's beautiful, but I couldnt find it on the Vera website.
thanks
Thanks everyone for the nice comments!! I had a lot of fun designing the wedding and am so pleased you all find it to be beautiful! It makes me happy to know the details came through and were appreciated. I tried to put my own spin and personal style in the details, flowers, overall feel and of course, my dress! That thing is amazing, right??!! It was kind of hard to find ( as you know it is not on the site ) I first saw it when I was in Las Vegas, and my maid of honor/best friend and I went to great lengths to find again to purchase since we both knew it had to be the one. I ended up finding it through Bliss Bride in Del Mar (san diego). The shop is super cute and the girls there are great. The style number of the dress is 1G019- hope that helps, but if you want to purchase it a discounted rate, I think I'm going to sell mine. (kinda having a hard time parting with it... but that was always my way of justying the purchase- ha.) So let me know.
Thanks again for all the comments, to my sister for helping me with the invites and Justin for taking such awesome photos!!
Just stunning! I just love all the rich colors.
Thanks for the info on your dress Christie. . .
It REALLY is beautiful. . .
I'm interested on the dress, so if you decide to sell it let me know. . .

Michelle- I got the bracelet at Bloomingdales... You might want to try there. They carry a lot of the Carolee line. Hope you find it. :)
Congrats on the gorgeous photos Christie & Justin! J-Lee rocking another amazing wedding as always!!
Hi Christie,
Your wedding pictures are beautiful. I am in LOVE with your bracelet!!! I would like to call around to see if I can find it, unfortunately it is no where to be found online. I have been searching online all day. Do you happen to recall what it is called or what the stlye number is? This is very forward of me to ask, but if you are willing to sell it, please let me know. I would love to take it off your hands. Cheers, Amber
Hey Amber,
I got it at Bloomingdales... Try there and see if you can find it. I don't have any style number, but you might want to email around the pic? I think it was from the Carolee LUX collection... I'm not sure I want to sell it, but let me know if you can't find it and I'll consider it.
GOOD LUCK!!
I would also love to know if you can track down the bracelet! Please let us know if you do.
everything about this post is beautiful....so so beautiful
Christie, you are so kind to respond. Unfortunately, I live in a very rural town of 300 residents, many 100s of miles away from a Bloomingdales. It is difficult to call for a charge send without a style number. Nonetheless, I am kinda late to the whole thing as my wedding is in less than two weeks (Oct. 17th). Thanks again for your information.
Best of luck to the other women in finding the bracelet!! It is a gorgeous piece!
Cheers,
Amber
Hi Ladies-
I've spent a few hours looking online for this bracelet! The best I can do is a site you can rent the bracelet from:
https://www.imoveritonline.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=307&osCsid=1865bafb17417314c592d5fa70f89213
They also have a few other Carolee bracelets as well. Otherwise, try zappos.com or bloomingdales.com. I found the perfect Carolee bracelet for my dress at maxandchloe.com.
Good Luck!
Kelly
Sorry the link didn't work! Go to the site and search for "carolee flower."

I am not sure if anyone is still checking this - but I would love to know who did the hair for this wedding? Thanks! Erin Burns.
