We were SO excited when we saw a new submission from Ingrid of Myrtle & Marjoram! And to top it off … she sent tons of images … no clue how I’m going to limit this post to a reasonable length!

This is the awesome nature-inspired wedding of Natalie & Brian in Grass Valley, CA.

Escort Cards, Place Card Tree

from the gorgeous bride, Natalie …

We wanted everything to be as simple and natural as possible. We chose the Empire Mine as our location because it is the most beautiful natural setting with acres of huge trees. It was a place that we liked to visit whenever we were in town visiting my parents, and we especially like that it is a place that we will be able to go back to year after year. To keep things simple we didn’t have a big bridal party, just our three siblings, and they could wear whatever they wanted. Since the park was so pretty, we didn’t have to do too much in terms of decorating. I just love the color yellow, so that was incorporated into the flowers. The Jewish chuppah that we stood under for the ceremony was made of curly willow branches to blend into the surroundings, and the top was crocheted by a close family member. The weather was perfect, everyone we love was there, and everyone had a great time and danced all night. It was just the most beautiful day.

We have so many more wonderful images from the day coming up shortly!
