It tickles me to see a sweet, simple wedding that is just bursting with joy. Well, today’s wedding is precisely that… a colorful, charming, woodsy affair full of love and laughter. Sent to us by the incredibly talented Olivia Leigh, this wedding is so, so… well, happy. Plus, we’re pretty smitten with Olivia’s photos, so there’s already a lot to smile about.

From the bride…
When we started planning for our wedding while still living in New Zealand; we were inspired to infuse our event with the flavor of our expatriate home. Relaxed but elegant, fun and earth-friendly were the guiding principles of our planning process. The Morton Arboretum provided a perfect backdrop for a celebration that reflected an eco-friendly ethos because of its incredible contributions to environmental research and education.
In addition to planning an environmentally responsible event, the bride, Megan also managed to incorporate some very personal, well thought-out gestures for her guests and wedding party. As a way to invite her bridesmaids to be a part of the wedding she sent each of them a cute package with an image of the color palette and asked them to find something in those colors that would make them feel special. Love this! Another great idea for you newly engaged brides on the Style Circle.
Look forward to sharing more in just a bit!
So cheerful!
I love, love the bridesmaid look here. So cute and refreshing!
what designer/style is the bride's dress? i love it!!!
I'm loving the bridesmaids dresses! They all have a cohesive look based on the color palette so even though every dress is a different style and color, together they all look stunning!
Beautiful! These are great photographs of such a joyful day
I also would love to know who designed the bride's dress. perfection!
I absolutely love the brides maid dresses? Does anyone know who the designer is? Or who designed the wedding dress? What a beautiful day! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for such nice comments on our day, I'm so flattered! My dress was a sample from a great place in Chicago called White Chicago and the designer is Elma Reis Couture.
Thanks Megan! And Congratulations!
I love the satin bows on the bouquets. A unique touch, but still looks classic!
It was a fairytale wedding!
Megan, Where did you get your hair piece? It is magnificent! I am looking for something just like it.
