All sorts of fun details about today’s wedding… One. Awesome photographer, Olivia Leigh who completely captured the couple’s delightful I-do’s. Two. LBB member, Bella Figura was is on this cheerful event, creating green invites, programs, and menus. And Three. Today’s bride, Megan not only found a lot of inspiration right here on SMP, but is also quite a blogger herself. Her adorable blog Pink to Green, is full of wonderful eco-friendly lifestyle advice and stylish green tips for brides.

From the bride, Megan…
The goal was to have an aesthetic to compliment such a beautiful garden setting; therefore, starting with our eco-friendly invitations, from Bella Figura, the oaktree was the icon of our event. When using paper, we tried to make it double duty or cut back when possible; for example, our escort cards also doubled as our favor and we used a reply postcard which cuts back on an extra envelope. Although small, these little details can add up.
In order to keep things eco-friendly, we had a lot of help collecting vintage mason jars and medicine bottled for our centerpieces. All the baskets used to hold our flip-flops, fans, parasols and even our programs were provided by family and friends so they could feel included in the event but also cut back on purchasing new items. We used recycled fork table card holders and found a great vintage glass terrarium to hold our cards. It was fun collecting meaningful details that were also a reflection of our purpose!
We hoped to create an event that was organically elegant, a reflection of our personal style as much as our respect for the environment and fun for our guests. Our intimate setting definitely helped create an environment that was meaningful and special; we will always remember walking into the field full of friends and family we missed while being abroad and having the sun come pouring from behind the clouds!

I love how well matched this whole wedding seemed to be… all the elements Megan & Matt chose complimented their personalities and style perfectly. From their gorgeous venue, The Morton Arboretum to their fun eco-friendly details, they created an event that was as organic as it was beautiful. Thank you Olivia Leigh for sharing your gorgeous photographs with us. Also congrats to Megan & Matt!

I LOVE that one-shouldered, coral dress! It's basically exactly what I've been trying to find (unsuccessfully) for my own bridesmaids. Megan, if you're out there, can you pretty please post a comment telling me where to find it? Or does anyone else recognize it? Thanks - it's a long shot, but I really appreciate any help.
Or the yellow one, I hadn't clearly seen it at first, but it looks like the same dress just longer. Sorry, will stop commenting now, I'm just loving these dresses.
I'd love to see the pic of the vintage terrarium card holder. Love the idea of recycling cool vintage pieces!
Hi Emily! The coral dress is from Saks by a designer names Tadashi Shoji; I just checked and it looks like it is no longer available but it is called "one shoulder jersey dress" and perhaps another place will carry it?! Good luck and thanks for the nice comments!
I love the dress! Could you post more of that here?
More of these gorgeous photos will be in our photo galleries very soon!
Hi Megan,
I have been trying to find classy looking table card holders. I love yours where are they from? Thansk,Meg
We're also planning to use a postcard for a response card to cut the extra paper (not to mention it makes postage a little more budget friendly too!). Any chance we can see the placecard that also served as a favor?
I love how the bridesmaids dresses are not matching. I'm actually having my girls do that too. It's nice to see how it looks. Each bridesmaid has their own personality. Very thoughtful!
Can i ask the bride where she got the tree image for her menu? our wedding is in 2 weeks and menus are still on the list!!
Emilou. I believe that the oak tree design was done by invitation designer, Bella Figura.
Hi Meg, I found our table card holders using Etsy, they are recycled forks bent into the shape of a card holder. Hope this helps!
Where did you get your hair piece? Is it a real flower or a piece? It is so cute and I would love to add a nice delicate touch like that.
Lovely wedding, love the tree background...
Another gorgeous dream green wedding! These green brides are so creative. Your description of "organically elegant" is perfect. Congratulations!
Megan
