I cannot wait to share this next event with you… a stunning color palette and countless gorgeous details, this Beverly Hills bash was a sophisticated twist on the traditional Halloween party. Meg Perotti photographed the event hosted by The Stylish Soiree at Franklin Canyon Park this past Tuesday. I had a terribly hard time deciding which photos to include… every...

October 29th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 19 comments

Thank you so very much to the always incredible Aaron and Jen Delesie for sharing today’s RIDICULOUS wedding with us. My poor husband is going to have to deal with a vow renewal because I now have my heart completely set on a wedding just like this. And to the lovely Brooke Keegan for being so sweet as to share all of the behind the scene details. I am sure that I speak for...

Outdoor Wedding by Aaron Delesie and Brooke Keegan, IV

October 29th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 24 comments

I am always full of words. Always. And usually I sound a bit like a 16 year old girl gushing over her latest crush. People make fun of me all of the time for it and I can totally see why.

But today, I am ALL gush. I am trying very hard to restrain myself from saying every 16 year old phrase that pops into my head because this wedding turns me into butterflies and total mush. I love it. I love the simple, restrained style. The vintage, worn-down luxury. The effortless elegance. I love...

Every time Aaron Delesie sends me a wedding, I know that it’s going to be good. Aside from being a genius photographer, he also has a really good eye for style and design. And he knows exactly the kind of wedding that I am going to fall madly in love with…simple, organic elegance, perfect details, a timeless and yet fresh perspective. And this wedding, is just that. And SO much more.

More from the lovely, lovely...

There is no way for me to do justice to this wedding. It’s a little bit rustic, a little bit elegant…completely and totally gorgeous. The details are...

This is my dream wedding. Seriously. My dream wedding.

Vineyard Wedding with a Purple Palette

October 28th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 30 comments

I think I say this every time I feature a purple wedding…but normally, on any given day, I am not a huge fan of purple. It’s a lovely color, especially when it comes to really lush flowers, it’s just that all through junior high and high school, my best friend bought everything purple in sight. So she kind of ruined it for me. But! This wedding just might convert me. The purple palette is STUNNING and the details, that were largely DIY, are perfection.

Held at the...

Black and White Wedding Photography by Justine Ungaro

October 28th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 16 comments

I pretty much never feature black and white wedding photography on Style Me Pretty. And, it’s not because I don’t love it. In fact, the walls of my house are covered in black and white shots from my own wedding and my cute little daughter Audrey. It’s mainly because we focus so much on details, that I usually like to put full color images up that really pop. But these, that Justine Ungaro shot of today’s...
