@Diane We’ve made large pomadors like this for some of the event work we’ve done. The base is a sphere of styrofoam. The flowers can be picked in or glued to the sphere. They are very lightweight, and can be easily transported.

We get ours from a fabricator who does a lot of custom work for event specialists: http://www.shapeformation.com/products.php

I agree with the others that the white is beautiful. And the Pomanders are gorgeous!!!!! I’ve never seen them that big. This is a really nice wedding.

Agreed on the flowers. I’ve been wanting to do giant pomodor balls ever since I saw them in a Town & Country Weddings spread a couple years ago. Amazingly beautiful!
