Turquoise and Yellow Bridal Shower

September 9th. 2009 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 22 comments

I love that we’ve recently started featuring showers and rehearsal dinners. They are such an integral part of the wedding process and they always serve to inspire LOTS of steal worthy ideas. This shower, designed by the fabulous team at Dooby Design Group, was all about Turquoise and Yellow fun!

The color palette alone is fabulous but it’s the details that have me swooning. Especially because so many of them are steal-able. A turquoise table cloth with a yellow runner. Colored vases like these from IKEA. Candy in those same pops of color…jelly beans, rock candy, twizzlers. SO easy and so cute!

Thank you so much to Dooby Designs for kickstarting the day with such a punch! LOVE the colors, love the chic but whimsical approach to design. And if you haven’t checked out Dooby Design’s website and blog, it’s a MUST!!!

This bridal shower is so cute!! I wish I'd hired a professional photographer for my sister's wedding shower. We had a Southern Breakfast at Tiffanys theme and it turned out really cute I think despite my poor photography skills. http://2sistersblog.com/2009/09/09/a-southern-breakfast-at-tiffanys/

  7. The color scheme was pulled together really well!

We are thrilled to see Dooby Design featured and we were so happy to photograph this event! We've been a part of a couple events Dooby Design has had a hand in, and Aisha's work is beyond fabulous! The candy bar at this particular event was just stunning in person - it was very hard to resist sampling all the deliciousness on display. She did a fantastic job pulling it all together. :)

I love this color combo! In fact I did a few entries on it myself and created some free downloads for bridal showers:
