Little Black Book photographer, Paula at Luna Photo sent us today’s lovely wedding images!

Jennifer and Dan’s wedding took place at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.

Another of our fantastic Little Black Book members, Kathy Wright, is responsible for the jaw-droppingly-gorgeous floral decor!!

Susanne of Crown Weddings was the wedding coordinator for Jen & Dan’s day and had this to say …
Jen and Dan loved the Lodge as it has such a warm atmosphere and they liked the craftsman style of the hotel as well as the stunning staircase that leads to the ceremony site. They chose chocolate brown as the “neutral” color to compliment all the beautiful wood tones but because it was a springtime wedding, they wanted to add a youthful fresh approach with their main color scheme. Therefore, Jennifer chose pinks and oranges to brighten up the ballroom. They also loved textures and so instead of choosing one linen, they chose two apple green linens .. one in silk shantung for the lower centerpieces and one in a beautiful mini-pintuck for the tall centerpieces. All the stationery was designed by Wendy Ware designs with a one of a kind custom cut and they even had the cake tiers wrapped in chocolate and hand cut out to match the design. A photobooth, custom lighting and a hip DJ provided the perfect mix for a fun party after a sumptious 4 course dinner.

LOVE the color palette used in the reception ~ it’s so warm and yet could be used in pretty much any wedding season!
Our thanks to Paula Luna ~ your images are superb. And Kathy of Kathy Wright & Co ~ the floral design is just stunning!
Congratulations Jen and Dan and thanks for sharing your beautiful day with us!

The dresses are from Bella Bridesmaids. We're located in La Jolla too, as well as have stores all over the country. Congratulations Jen!

The parasols are a very nice touch to your wedding line! Very unique! Flowers are gorgeous!
Hi Jen - can you confirm if the bridesmaid dress color is Melissa Sweet's leaf? Thanks!
Hi, I was a bridesmaid, and yes, the dresses were Melissa Sweet's leaf color. :)
Hey! I know this wedding was almost a year ago but I was wondering if 3 of the bridesmaids would be interested in selling their dresses if they were only worn the one time for the wedding? It's hard to tell from a picture but I'm hoping that my three girls are of similar sizes. Pls let me know!
Thanks :)
Hi Sonia, I can ask my bridesmaids, but do you know what 3 sizes you would need so I have an idea of which bridesmaids to ask? Thank you.
Should I ask for their measurements? I'm not sure how the Melissa Sweet dresses are sized. If it's just small medium or large then off-hand I would think I need one small and two large. Thanks for responding!
