Crystal at Distinct Occasions in Toronto sent us a positively beautiful wedding from this past July that we think you’ll love. The ceremony and reception were held at the Miller Lash House on The University of Toronto’s Scarborough campus.
from Crystal …
The Bride & Groom really wanted a great relaxed and FUN wedding for their guests! The couple went for the chic vibe of Miami incorporating lounge areas into the reception and keeping everything crisp and white with accents of fuschia and bright blue to add a special spark.

The stunning floral decor was provided by Rainflower Company …

The dinner was catered by Daniel et Daniel and included a menu of chilled watermelon gazpacho and chicken breast marinated with lime, chili, garlic and cilantro ~ sweet and spicy!

Allyson Meredith Cakes designed the gorgeous four-tiered wedding cake.

Very, very, very beautiful!
Our thanks to HRM Photography for providing these fantastic images from Elizabeth & Derrick’s wonderful wedding and celebration!

Thanks everyone! This was our wedding and we had a lot of fun planning it and a wonderful day on our big day.
To the person who asked about the invitations - I designed them myself and had them printed at a specialty paper/print shop in Markham, Ontario - a place called Paperland. I also purchased the cardstock there and my maid of honour and I took on the task of cutting everything down to size ourselves as well - everything but the pocket folds which we had pre-cut but which we scored, folded and glued ourselves.
There is more information about how I did my invitations, in my online wedding journal, at http://www.WeddingbyColor.com/soulwishes .
Thanks again everyone! And special thanks to Distinct Occasions for helping us pull it all together on our big day!
Love the pics
