DIY Inspired Wedding in Oregon

September 4th. 2009 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 16 comments

I got this wedding just last night…but it was SO pretty, I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys! The bride and her family basically did everything themselves and with a hint of vintage charm, this wedding is all about the lovely. You just might say that I saved the best for last this week!

First up, the insanely gorgeous bride, Allie…

DIY real wedding

Allie’s gown was designed by Melissa Sweet and her adorable hairpiece by Twigs + Honey. Her gorgeous jewelry was by Tigerlilly.

We have a TON of details coming up from this beautiful affair and even though it’s Friday right before a long weekend, I hope you’ll come back for more!

I LOOOOOVE that little purse. I was looking for something to keep little trinkets/gloss, etc with me on my wedding day. Do you have any information where she got it? (I'm in Oregon, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed) :)

I was just at a gorgeous Oregon wedding...there are so many wonderful scenic locales. I am totally into the feather headpieces, and vintage inspired touches, too. Thanks for the wonderful photos, what a lovely bride and wedding! I love that there are so many creative DIY and handmade creations available for a unique wedding. -Ellen, from http://ellenmariejewelry.etsy.com " rel="nofollow">ellenmarie on etsy.

  14. In this day and age where bigger is better and what is shiner impresses, beaded veils are a must for the bride who wants to stun. Encrusted in rhinestones and covered in pearls, a beaded veil is the perfect accessory for the bride who wants to dazzle everyone on her Big Day.

  15. [...] seller oktak. But then it dawned on me that I’ve seen an oktak design before… remember this diy inspired wedding we featured last month?? Anyway, I love the variety of the patterns… [...]
