There is just something about a DIY inspired wedding. Knowing that the bride, the groom, the friends, the family members all took time to craft a wedding with their own hands is well, lovely. I know that might sound cheesy, but to me, it’s the handmade touches that really make a wedding special. No matter what your budget, no matter how large your vendor list…it’s always nice to have a little bit of handmade charm.
Allie and Josh’s wedding was all about the DIY. And it was beyond perfect…

The wedding took place at Zenith Vineyard in Salem, Oregon. The ceremony itself was GORGEOUS, with the fabric draped along the ceiling and twinkle lights tucked inside. The girls all wore Jenny Yoo dresses in various hues. So, so cute.
But, if you can believe it, the reception was even cuter! We have tons of details coming up, plus…Allie is stopping by to share a little behind the scenes sneek peak!
What font was used in the "cards" sign???
Nevena, it's the lovely, lovely Burgues Script:

I also posted the cards sign, and some of our other materials, on my blog as PDF and InDesign templates, in case you're interested:

I'm in love with the card box and this venue...so charming!
Yay! Go Oregon! Love the string of lights under fabric. That may very well become our dance floor lighting! Thanks so much Abby and Allie!
Kelly,
Did you guys do your own flowers or did you get them done professionally?
