Thank you so very much to Allie and Josh for letting us share in their celebration. I am hoping that Allie will stop by next week with a DIY project inspired from her many wedding crafts. She has such a lovely aesthetic, such a thoughtfully beautiful approach to design and we’d love to have her share some of that with us!
I hope that everyone has a happy and safe holiday weekend! Here are a few more pictures from today’s affair to see you into the weekend…

From Allie…
More than anything, though, I was overwhelmed by the joy of spending so much time with our family and friends. We are blessed with very close families, and we were able to plan some events for the week of the wedding to spend more time with them. Most of Josh’s family lives in California and we were so thankful that they came up to Oregon to celebrate with us. We are simply unbelievably lucky to have these people in our lives. And they’re ridiculously fun too, as is evident from the photos from the dance floor…

Simply beautiful wedding! What a gorgeous couple!
PS: Where or where did you find those great escort and table number cards? I have been looking high and low for just such cards!
Elizabeth, we cut them out with a Cuttlebug and the Stampin' Up curly label die:

For paper, we used Eames Furniture Weave 120# cover stock for the escort cards and table numbers. It coordinated nicely with the Arturo soft white that we used for the programs and some other details.
Hi Allie
Were did you find the cute little birds?
so so romantic...the color palette, flowers, & the fabulous details! I love this wedding :)
I adore the wedding cake topper! Did you make that also? How did you do it? I love that you used birds throughout. :)
How did you make/where did you buy those scrolls on the cupcakes? LOVES!
I LOVE those birds!!
Great ideas! Was a font used for the lettering?
Such attention to detail! So very inspiring, what a beautiful day.
That's some sweet wedding photography -- I really like the B&W dancing photo. Our own wedding photographer was rather expensive, but was really good, and it was one of the things we've never regretted spending money on.
I loved the wildflowers in the centerpieces, those paired with the modern vintage typography was so well done! I can't wait to see the diy!
I love the flowers in your hair. Is that a headpiece? If so, where did you get it?
It's great when you can do it yourself! Love the bird theme throughout. All of the elegant cards with the little birds are beautiful! Also the cupcakes look very elegant not to mention delicious!
those cupcakes are amazing!
Kelly, the birds are by Kikkerland; I bought some of them at Anthropologie, some online, some on eBay. It took a while to get enough of them for the escort card board and tables!
LauraS, my mom made the cake topper birds. They were inspired by Ann Wood's lovely birds (www.annwoodhandmade.com). My mom experimented with a few different patterns in making her own.
Meghyn, I made the scrolls... I just printed the titles on text-weight cotton paper and curled the edges in opposite directions with scissors (the same way you'd curl ribbon for gift wrapping).
Ann Britt, the lettering on the scrolls is Burgues Script (available online from Veer, www.veer.com). The lettering for everything else was calligraphed by the ultra-talented Jenna Hein (lovejenna.blogspot.com).
Joelle, my hair piece was a custom feather flower made by Myra of Twigs & Honey glory: www.twigsandhoney.com
Thank you all for your lovely comments!
Kelly,
I really want to do my own flowers for the tables at the reception, and was thinking about doing different types of bottles instead of your typical bus vases, and when I saw your pics I got so excited. Where did you get the bottles and flowers? Dis you do it yourself?
Thanks,
Cara
i love all the details and colors of you're wedding! Especially all the flowers! It's beautiful.
I so *LOVE* your wedding. I just came back to it. You really captured the most what I'm wanting for ours - birds, vintage bottles, wildflowers. Beautiful! Do you still have those bottles - going to sell them? *wink* My family is in Portland...really, how much do you estimate you paid for all the bottles? I'm having a hard time finding them for anything less than $10-15 each!
