Thank you so very much to the hugely talented Jenny Smith of Alders Photography for sending us this adorable wedding. I LOOOOVE to see affairs that are handcrafted, that are lovingly designed, that are so thoughtfully built. And this wedding was a labor of love that resulted in an absolutely gorgeous day.

Here are a few more of the vendors that helped to make this day so special…

YUM. To say the least.
Wait - are those brownies and root beer floats?! Beautiful, beautiful wedding. :)
Brownies and ... is that coffee? Root beer floats? AWESOME!
Beautiful! Love the setting, cakes...everything!
yup, those are rootbeer floats
awww she captured my placecard!
YES I almost cried when I saw that last picture ;P
WOW !!
I think this is one of my most favorite weddings I have ever seen... and I have over 10 MUST READ weddings blogs each day (which doesn't include the others I visit a few times a week)... so yes, I have seen a lot of weddings! I am really so sad that this was featured, though, as I think I would've stole every last detail myself had I seen this prior to 2 weeks ago (1 week after hers) when I myself got married. LE SIGH!
AWESOME wedding! Thanks, Abby!

is this wedding in San Luis Obispo? It is so fun! where did you get the wood-chips for the placecards?
hi lara...this wedding was in san luis obispo!! it's such a cute town, isn't it? I actually found the wood chips at a holiday clearance sale at the pottery barn in downtown SLO for about $2 a bag which comes with about 14 chips or so. I hope you find some this year if you go hunting!
Hi all
I am from Australia and I would love to know what is a "root beer float" and why you are all so excited by it? Love the woodchips idea though x
A root beer float is a cold glass half-filled with root beer and 1-2 scoops of ice cream. Some people like to put the ice cream in first & pour the root beer over it. You can also make one with certain types of beer (e.g. stouts or rich porters).
