There is something so gorgeous about a perfect Fall wedding. The crispness in the air, the warm, hearty color palettes, the textures, the smells, the rustic but elegant decor. This wedding is the Fall inspired wedding of my dreams with flowers by Kathy Hoffman and a design by Custom Event Group that will literally make you swoon. It’s purely delicious.

What a fun challenge it was to not only meet their great expectations, but to surpass them! The ‘Altar’ was created by combining various shepherd hooks full of fall wildflowers, dahlias and mums. The aisle was a blanket of an artistic blend of colorful wildflower petals, leaves and some whole flowers. The cocktail hour was complete with estate made wines, games of horseshoes and a local bluegrass ensemble.
Dinner was set just outside the historic apple harvesting barn. The owners generously allowed us to scour the expansive property for fun props, which you can see from the photos, were used everywhere….from apple boxes, to galvanized bins, to an old grape press and antique family farm tables and benches – it doesn’t get any more ‘authentic’ than this.

I absolutely adore the menu card- who designed this?
the design itself just great- look so stylish
I'm from California and am considering getting married in Napa. Where is this location and how can I get married there? It is beautiful!
Hooray for a fall wedding!
I'm also looking for the venue right now and this ranch seems to be awesome! Where was this wedding?
Love this wedding! can you tell me what you used the mason jars for? It looks it some kind of label on them.
Thanks
kim
I love all elements of a Fall wedding. I love the non-matchy look of the tables!
This is Apple Farm in Yountville
Very lovely!
How fortunate to find so many wonderful props - gorgeous authentic wedding, very stylish. I was also wandering about the mason jars.
Hello all, thanks for your kind comments, we sure had fun with this wedding! Frankly, the praise should go primarily to the amazing Kathy Hoffman. My darling sister and I made those 100 mason jars with bird seed and votives (we wired them with handles - not an easy task) We tied the seating cards on to them with raffia. Later on that night, we used these mason jar lanterns - all lit up- to lead the way to the parking and shuttles, it was neat. I still have about 20 in my garage if anyone wants them! The printing was all letterpress, written by me and printed by the fabulous Victoria from milkfedpress.com
are you seriously selling the mason jar lanterns? i'd love them!
if you're not seriously selling the mason jar lanterns, can you tell us a bit more about how you wired them with handles. :) thanks!
Rebecca - I can't resist posting (Victoria alerted me to the article). Almost two years later and we are still in awe over the amazing wedding you put together for us. It was perfect. I love seeing these pictures all over again and reading about all the details that went into it. You, Kathy, Victoria and Sara are pure geniuses. We are forever grateful.
What was the name of the bluegrass band? I'm searching for one for my Lake County wedding next year! Gorgeous wedding! I could drive over to Napa anytime and pick up those mason jars from you if you haven't sold them yet!
The band was Bluegrass Intentions - they are excellent.
