Choosing your wedding photographer is HUGE. You don’t want to just capture the moments, you want to capture the mood. You want to have something to hang onto after all is said and done, to relive the memories over and over again. But choosing your wedding photographer is like buying your first piece of REAL art to hang in your home. Each photographer has his or her own unique style of painting the picture, capturing the light, telling the story. Choosing THE photographer for YOU is huge.

Kenneth and Elaine Soong are the artists behind Just Married Photography. Based in Edmonton, they have a style uniquely and fantastically their own!

from Elaine & Kenneth …
When Cheryl was planning her wedding, she was looking for stylish venues with character and soul, and photography that was different from any other. She was successful in obtaining all the vendors of her choice for her dramatic, elegant wedding. The rocking bridal party of 12 got ready at the Varscona Hotel on Whyte. It was a very chilly day, but the bridal party braved fierce winds for stunning pictures around the old Strathcona area of Edmonton. The ceremony and reception were held at Murietta’s Bar & Grill, a dazzling venue to have a wedding with a personal touch. This wedding had a modern yet vintage feel to it and the results were cinematic, timeless images.

from the bride and groom …
We didn’t have a theme, we just wanted our wedding to feel organic and easy, yet elegant. What we wanted most though was for our friends and family to have a great time and feel comfortable!

Our congratulations to Cheryl & Jeff on your marriage and for finding Just Married Photography to tell your story SO magnificently!

Beautiful wedding
Absolutely stunning work from Elaine and Kenneth! So beautiful~! Especially love the first shots of the bride. Just stunning.
First photo of the bride on right is simply breathtaking. What a timeless, stunning bride! Beautiful Wedding.
So excited to see a wedding featuring the dress I'll be wearing next May! (Pronovias Diamante in case anyone is wondering)
We're getting our pictures taken by graffiti too! Looking at these makes me even more excited about it!!
Beautiful pics! I would expect nothing less from Kenneth & Elaine.
As someone who has used them for their own wedding, I can say that not only is their photography incredible, but they are two of the most incredible people as well.
I am confused. The first shots of the bride, (and most of the rest of the wedding) are shot in a wonderful desaturated style. Simple and elegant. So why did they choose the background with the crazy painted walls for the group shots? It simply does not go with the rest of the wedding!
