Summer Wedding At The Yolo Fliers Country Club From Johnstone Studios
Tourine & Trevor Johnstone are a wonderful husband and wife photography team based in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. They are members of Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book and have sent us Trisha & Eric’s wedding memories to share with you today!
Trisha wanted a romantic garden-inspired wedding, while Eric loved birds and the great outdoors. Voila! Instant wedding inspiration!

A dear friend of Trisha’s came across a vintage French print gift wrapping paper. She just knew the paper was what Trisha needed to solidify her vision. Trisha loved the vibrancy of the colors in the papers. And thus ensued … invitations designed by Gabriela Longfish, menus, table numbers, seating card, etc….
In a perfect world, the whole celebration would have been outdoors. But, in lieu of practicality, Eric & Trish had an organic outdoor ceremony with the reception following inside the Yolo Fliers Golf & Country Club. And so, if you can’t be outdoors, you do the next best thing! You bring the outdoors in! Trisha and Eric incorporated natural elements into their table centerpieces and decor.
The candy bar was a tradition passed on through the groom’s family and specifically, from his mother. The couple are professed chocoholics and the candy bar included a delicious array of colorful chocolates in cremes, blues, reds, pinks.
Congratulations to Trisha & Eric!

Can't believe it! This is our color palette, plus our theme, which is bird and nest based. Actually showed this to my fiancee and he was so excited to see how some of the elements I have been planning might look in actuality! I would love to know about the red shoes, and I know you posted the email of the paper designer, but does she have a wed site or Etsy shop? Thnx from this "Bird and Branch Modern Whimsical Wedding bride- since everyone seems to be coming up with titles that's mine!
