I love to start the day with a real wedding feature. It’s my favorite part of Style Me Pretty, my favorite part of writing a blog. And this wedding, is one for the books. Photographed by Max Wanger, it’s totally and completely perfect. The bride has that rare combination of spunk and style and Max captured the story to perfection!

From the beautiful bride, Gwendolyn…
First off, let me just say that i adore style me pretty and used it as a resource VERY often while planning my own wedding. you are such a great source of inspiration for those of us planning these big things on our own! with having never done this before it’s such a great thing to have someone to help guide you through!
My now husband and I met over 8 years ago in Los Angeles where we worked at the same record label. Both from the midwest, it was our love of music that brought us out to LA. Through the years our lives and careers have changed a ton and I’m so glad we took that long to get to know each other before we decided to take the plunge and plan a wedding. The planning is the hard part!
So much more to come from Max and Gwendolyn!

Max-
Great use of color de-saturation. Well done.
Wonderful photos - and style. More pictures please!
So beautiful! Where are those fantastic shoes from??
i love the shoes too! where are they from? it's so hard to find charming shoes.
agreed. we have to know where details on those beautiful yellow shoes!
OMG...I LOVE those earrings!!! Where did you find them??
thanks so much for all of those kind words!
there were some questions i wanted to answer so i'm putting them all here in one spot.
1. the earrings are from nordstrom rack! (they were about $10)
2. the shoes are miu miu (from the barneys warehouse sale - again 75% off!)
3. that is cotton candy on the plate that i bought online (less than $1 per person and we just added ribbon, a map heart and a button)
4. the sign with our names my dad made for the entrance - he's an artist/sign painter by trade. he's so amazing!
i think those were all of them.
thanks again for all of the sweet words and thank you abby for sharing our special day!
