I am la-la-loving today’s first featured affair. Actually, I love anything that Calder Clark of Calder Clark Designs in Charleston does and when you pair that up with the genius that is A Bryan Photo…the result is TOTAL perfection!

I actually had the pure pleasure of meeting Calder when I was in Charleston for a wedding and when I tell you that she is talented, I am hardly doing her justice. At the time, they were preparing a dessert bar for an upcoming wedding and it just might have been the prettiest thing you’ve ever seen. Plus, she gave us a cookie for the ride home, which was icing on the cake.
Anyway, back to the wedding at hand! Here are a few more details…
We designed heavy “garden garlands” to drape over the old brick columns of the carriage house lot and filled them with smilax, phalaenopsis orchids, and magnolia leaves to accent the existing evergreen landscaping at the period property.
Hung from old carriage house doors was a 50 inch wreath of the same, and creamy rose petals covered the slate aisle. We designed a few standout trees adorned with viburnum, hydrangea, smilax, and garden roses planted in wheat grass and edged with ivory satin ribbon and accented with delicate glass hanging votives. We used seagrass furniture in the dance tent and sheered the ceiling and poles with soft taupe chiffon.
LOVE her bracelet!! Who is it by?
Love the "garden garland" over the brick columns and her bridal bouquet is beautiful...wish peonies were available year round. Blue Moon Events does a great job...love the pictures on their web-site. Georgous wedding!!
gorgeous wedding! can you tell me where the bride got the lanterns that are hanging outside on the tree? is she selling them?
The Lanterns really are a great touch!
love the bridesmaid dresses! Whos the designer?
Hi everyone... thanks for all the wonderful responses to Jim and my wedding. Blue Moon Events and A Bryan Photo truly made it a spectacular event for the two of us!
Some of you had some questions regarding my headpiece which was designed by Brides Head Revisited in NYC and was purchased from Nitsa's. The headpiece had a detachable clip that seperated the french lace from the flower so that I could wear the flower by itself.
My bracelet was designed by Haute Design, and the bridesmaid dresses were designed by Jim Hjelm.
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Tina what an unbelievable wedding! Can you tell us where the hanging lanterns are from?
Hi Chris,
The hanging lanterns were rented from our wedding coordinator, Calder Clark at Blue Moon Events.
Simply gorgeous! Can you please tell me where this is and what building that is? The ceremony seems so romantic and personal...I just love it!
