Sweet, Whimsical Wedding by Choco Studio

August 17th. 2009 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 10 comments

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a major milestone in the Larson household. We celebrated my daughter’s first birthday with a big, adorable, totally pink party. It turned out to be such an incredible day with lots of friends and family, a few pony’s and cupcakes galore…one that will definitely go down as a beautiful memory in my book of life.

So, I thought that we could start the week off on an equally sweet note, with this lovely wedding that the oh-so-talented Mike and Natasha of Choco Studio Photographed

We have tons of gorgeous photographs from this wedding coming up in just a bit!

I owe lots and lots (and LOTS) of thanks to my dress maker Pris at Al's Attire in North Beach, SF who redesigned my ugly 80s thrift store find. I can't say enough good things about Al's Attire, I want to live in their shop and marry all of the employees! And Valerie at Japonica for the amazing boutonniere's, corsages and bouquets. Bewitching Elegance for the delicious vegan cake. Extra Action Marching Band (the band my husband is in) for their lovely entertainment. All my awesomely talented and helpful friends for help with the millions of details. And my incredible mom who made 50 handmade feathery masks....and of course Choco Studio for their amazing photography! All these people are my heroes and deserve major credit here. (p.s. the headpiece I made myself with goods from Piedmont Boutique and Britex)

  8. Beautiful photography by Natasha and Mike. Love the dress and feathery veil cage, it's different from the average dress. Very sweet and organic details and I love the image of the bride in front of the piano!
