Amy and Patrick were married at Christ The King Catholic Church in Dallas, the same church in which Patrick’s parents wed. Amy’s vision for her wedding was that of great style and design. She sought the amazing talents of Mary Wright Shah of Diamond Affairs and todd. event design. creative services to bring her dream to fruition! Karlisch Photography captured the event in all it’s glory …

We asked Amy to tell us what she loved the most about her wedding …
I loved how our monogram was positioned on the back of our Phillipe Stark ghost chairs at the reception (see image below). I also loved how the T and M were hung on the big wooden church doors- cleverly created out of hot pink peonies. The M was later taken off the door and attached to the back of the Rolls Royce that we were riding in!
The escort cards were hung from a stunning silver tree that glistened with dangling crystals. Later shelves were positioned around the tree that contained rows of gift boxes with porcelain red bird limoge boxes sitting on top. Being from St. Louis and a fan of the Cardinals I had to somehow bring my hometown flair into my reception. I really wanted each guest to leave with something tangible that they could smile at and remember the evening.
The whole weekend was themed- “I DO in Dallas!” – Mary Wright Shaw even had stickers on the buses that we rented that had the logo on them. People were spotting them all over town. It was hysterical! My mom and Mary surprised me with the decal on the wall in the suite I got ready in.
I pinned my best friend and maid of honor, Erin’s grandmother’s brooch into my flower arrangement as my something borrowed. My something old was a beautiful handkerchief that was my Grandmothers. The neat thing was that Erin was married 3 months after me and she borrowed my grandmother’s handkerchief.
We had a cigar bar outside on the patio with hand rolled cigars that was a huge hit. My Dad is a real cigar lover. I just had to do it for him! He finally had one after Patrick I drove off to end his night!
Their magnificent celebration was at the Dallas Ritz-Carlton.

From Mary … The look for the reception portrayed contemporary elegance that highlighted the couple’s colorful and warm personalities. The room was adorned with crystal and mirror accents that reflected a feel of old Hollywood glamour. Flowers included grape hydrangeas, David Austin Roses, pink French tulips and over 3,000 Sandra Bernhart Peonies.

Congratulations, Amy & Patrick! Your wedding was a truly magnificent event!!
And a huge thank you to Mary at Diamond Affairs … spectacular!
Wow - the floral arrangements on the table are absolutely stunning. What an amazing wedding and beautiful couple! Congratulations... xx
I love the hint of blue on the bottom of her shoes, and the white peonies make me swoon!
Stunning! I love this wedding! The bridesmaids dresses are some of the best I've seen! And it's in Dallas - the best city there is!
I love the ghost chairs! What a cool idea. It's great to have those at your wedding and them keep them for years and years to come in your home. Does anyone know where I can find similar chairs for less? The chairs pictured run about $410 each.
Thanks!
I absolutely love the bridesmaid's dresses - who are they?
this event is like OTT in pink, from the 3000 peonies to the sparklers to the ghost chairs to the VW Audrey, is there anything they didn't have? wow!
I, too, love the goddess feel of her BM's dresses and how they reflect the ambiance of the reception. Glamorous and goddess like from start to finish!
love this wedding... Would love to know where the grey dress is from, (attractive woman who is probably her mother!) Thanks.
I second the request for info on the bridesmaid dresses! They are absolutely gorgeous!
And the grey dress is great to!
Beautiful!
Wow! They really do things big in Texas!
Wow. She definately had the best of the best vendors in Dallas. Todd Event's and Karlisch Photography is the vendors I would have picked if I had oh about $50K more than my original budget. But one can admire!
I really like her shoes?? who makes them??
Gorgeous wedding! I love all of the details like the chairs and the T and M. The flower girls are so precious, where are their dresses from?! Thanks!
I think you meant Sarah Bernhardt peonies?
I am dying to know where the shoes are from!
The shoes are Christian Louboutin.
Christian Louboutin Shoes with Blue Soles:
For a short time, some Christian Louboutin shoes were available with baby blue soles. Intended to provide the "something blue" for brides-to-be, these creations were only available via special order, and were very short-lived. Production was eventually stopped due to trademark issues.
Thirds on finding out where the gray dress is from - that is exactly the style I want for my wedding dress! Thanks :)
From Mary Wright Shaw ~ The MOB gown is by Roland Nivelais, purchased at Stanley Korshak. The bridesmaids were Vera Wang. They were called the goddess dresses. The Vera Wang style number is VW23M11. The maid of honor wore a different dress- a sweetheart strapless gown by Vera Wang- style number VW21M14. Also, as far as the Christian Louboutin's, we had the signature red bottoms painted to blue at a new york shoe shankop.
beautiful details!!!
Hi,
Gorgeous wedding!
Can anyone tell me what the flower stands at the end of the pews are called - I am based in London and have never seen them before...
