This wedding, photographed by Jessamyn Harris, was simply lovely. The bride and groom infused so many elements that reflected their own personalities and gave their guests a window into their lives. From the brass band that the couple hired to celebrate the bride’s New Orleans roots, to the cheese station catered by the AMAZING Cow Girl Creamery…the wedding was ALL about the pair.

I would kill to be a guest at a wedding like this. So natural, so personal. And, I ;ove that the table settings are light and cheerful, a perfect compliment to the more organic venue. The stationer behind the cute menues and place cards is Sweet Penelope.

Thank you so much to Jessamyn Harris for sharing this beautiful wedding with us. And a HUGE thank you to the bride and groom for letting us share in the celebration!

This is where I had my wedding. It is the most beautiful place in the world!
I love the color palette of this wedding. It's so beautiful!!
the flowers are gorgeous, exactly what i am looking for for my farm wedding - great inspiration thank you!
Beautiful! Where did you get the cake topper from?
I would love to know what the name of the place setting is. I am currently looking at china patterns and LOVE this one; it doesn't take itself too seriously! Does anyone know the name or maker?
Beautiful bright color palette. So cheery and fun!
I'll check with Rachel about the cake topper and the dishes. The caterer was Cafe Primavera in San Jose - http://www.cafeprimavera.com/ - and the cheese platter was all Cow Girl Creamery cheese - SO yummy!
The florals were by Lidia Sadoun for Alicia K Designs, http://aliciakdesigns.com/ .
Yes to finding out more about the place setting and cake topper. I think it's by Lladro?
What an amazing venue!
Amazing venue! Is this in Northern California?
The venue is gorgeous! It is Nestldown in the Los Gatos Mountains. http://www.nestldown.com/
such a sweet event.
Hey everyone! It's the bride here to answer some of the questions in the comments. Thanks for all of your lovely compliments! They mean a lot to me :)
First off, the cake topper is indeed Lladro - I bought it at Macy's, but here's their whole wedding selection online: http://www.lladro.com/themes/temas.bodas-LLADRO_BY_THEME_BRIDAL/ They have quite a few beautiful options to pick from!
The china pattern we got through Classic Party Rentals. I'm not sure what the pattern is exactly called, but here's the listing on their site: http://sanfrancisco.classicpartyrentals.com/products/china_chargers/763
It immediately caught my eye when I went to their showroom because it closely resembled the china pattern that we registered for that I just adored: http://bloomingdales.weddingchannel.com/registry/catalog/Laque+de+Chine+Gold+by+Havilan/ID/2190/PID/78835 Also, it nicely carried out the dot motif that was in all of the stationery and was so light and playful!
Happy (almost) 2010!
It's the bride again - in wrapping up all things 2009 (and wedding!), I realized that there's one other quick thing I wanted to add to this post:
Elise Ho of Sweet Penelope (who is a total rockstar, by the way!) is credited above for the design work for both the menus and place cards. She did indeed do the placecards (as well as our invite set, save the dates and rehearsal dinner invites), but my now husband (a true Renaissance man!) designed the menu and the card under it, which was a description of the charity we donated to in lieu of wedding favors. The menu design was inspired by the components of the invite set done by Sweet Penelope to neatly tie everything together.
