Thank you so very much to Laurin and Kenny for letting us share in their celebration. If your wedding is any indication of what’s in store…you are in for a lifetime of beauty. And to Meg Baisden for sharing the STUNNING photographs. You captured their story to perfection!

Last words from Laurin, the lovely bride…

Our wedding turned out to be exactly the kind of day we hoped for. We had great weather all weekend and all of our wonderful family and friends to celebrate with.  Even after all the planning and thought that goes into a wedding, it’s so exciting and unbelievable to see everything come together!

Coming up next…5 favorites from our Look Book inspiration board contest!

I loved that you didn't wear white and the wedding is so pretty, you didnt go the one flower for the entire wedding things, yo uuse your own vision, created your own look. I see you both in every step, it describes your personality and that is awesome and very hard to do to strangers. Congrats.

    Laurin,

I too am looking into the green for our wedding next year. Do you mind sharing a pic of how you had the reception set up? I'm planning both ceremony and reception to take place on the eastern green but having difficulty visually deciding if the ceremony should be closer to the beach and the reception street side or vice versa. Thanks :)

    Marissa,
That's so exciting- you will love it- and so will your guests. The Eastern Green actually seems to be more private, because it's not on the end of Main Street. Usually the ceremony is set up closer to the beach, where the two bathroom huts are. We actually did it the opposite way and had the ceremony right up against the street and the ceremony closer to the beach. I liked it that way because even though we got married right next to the street, I felt like our party felt more private. However, all the people who weren't part of our wedding were very nice. I hope that helps. Congratulations and have fun!
