I knew you guys would adore this wedding as much as I do! It’s easy love…with perfect details tucked in every corner and a bride and groom that are madly in love. Photographed by Meg and Charles at Meg Baisden Photography, the wedding is pure gorgeousness!

From the beautiful bride, Laurin…
I love getting crafty, so anything I thought I could do myself I tried. (Not everything made it off my kitchen table, some things I tried only a mother would love!) The style was a little vintage, a lot eclectic, and a tiny bit preppy. The invitations were stamped with old stamps I collected from Ebay and I did the calligraphy. We had so much fun picking stamps for each guest’s invitation that felt special to that person. (So many states, professions, hobbies, causes, music to choose from!) My mom and my godmother hand postmarked all the invitations from Rosemary Beach’s adorable and tiny post office.
For the flower and table arrangements, we took full advantage of Kenny’s mother’s favorite pastime- antique shopping. She loves to scour flea markets, estate sales, antique shops and Goodwill for old pieces of silver, glass containers, French jelly jars, and old linens. They were perfect and it was fun to use things that were part of our family. Our floral designer, Christina from Nouveau Flowers, is pure magic. I also made the flower girl basket.

For favors, we had a galvanized bucket full of pashminas for the female guests- which were very useful once the sun went down. My mom and I sewed on small personalized clothing labels that had our names and our wedding date.
More in a bit!
This wedding is just making me straight up JEALOUS! Every detail is wedding perfection. It's just all together LOVELY!
Mason Jars add such a nice touch when done correctly!! great pics!
we're loving the color palette- very similar to a palette we put together recently.
The vintage stamps is genius, and I must say that is definitely "us"... so we may be stealing that idea. I'd love to see pictures of how that mailing went out.
mason jars pretty much rock [well,...when done correctly]! pics are fabulous!
Great idea with the pashminas!
This has to be one of my all time favorite weddings! Beautiful does not do it justice!
Also, where did you get your pashminas? Trying to find about 70 for my daughter's upcoming wedding.
What a beautiful, sweet affair! I love the tables and all the flowers. Peonies everywhere! Congratulations to the happy couple :)
The peonies are gorgeous! And I agree with all about the Mason jars- perfectly done.
yes, love to know about the pashminas as well? Very Beautiful. Such a nice romantic feel.
I'm loving the wedding gown. It's timeless!
Im interested in how you found/used the old stamps. What did you search on ebay? How did you know the stamps would work for mailing in terms of postage? Thanks!!
My jaw just dropped. Not even kidding. This is STUNNING!
I'm not the bride (LOVE this wedding, wow), but I just went the vintage stamp route and have to say it was soooo worth it. I used an assortment of California and Texas stamps, as an ode to where we are both from (the wedding is in CA). Of course not everyone noticed them, but those who did really loved them. I followed the recommendations of Miss Cowbow Boot on weddingbee. Looked up stamps on sites of the major sellers on ebay (SeaJay is one), found the "Scott Catalog" number, and then did ebay searches until I found reasonably priced versions of the ones I wanted. I felt like it was my one crazy bride moment, but I loved doing it!
uhmmm... yes. i love this.
I love the little candles in the jars. It all looks very cute! You guys really have amazing ideas.
Thanks everyone! The pashminas were from a website called rainbowbridgebiz.com They were really reasonable, like $4 or $5, and I think I got a discount for a buying a certain number. For the stamps, I used the phrase "unused stamps" when searching on Ebay, then narrowed it down to those that were lots. It was really time consuming, some of the stamps I had to glue on, but I thought it was fun and totally worth it. The people who did notice it, really appreciated the thought that went into it. I do think it would look cute, and would be way easier and less cumbersome, if you wanted to use the newer adhesive stamps. There are so many stamps (1, 2, 3,5,10,17,28, 44 cent) and they change them often enough that you could collect some great ones quite effortlessly. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the information about the pashminas Laurin, I really appreciate it.
I also have to say again, that this is probably my favorite wedding ever on SMP! A beautiful, beautiful wedding and you were a magnificent bride! Your dress is to die for!
where are the awesome vintage silver vases from?
I have to say this is one of the most stunning weddings I've ever seen. I could spend hours at your site, well done!
Cheers,
Gabreial
