July 15th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 22 comments

We are devouring the amazing wedding that Rebecca Feeney of Custom Event Group recently got her hands on. Granted, there were only 22 people in attendance so there was lots of wiggle room for crazy beautiful flowers (by the AMAZING Kathy Hoffman) and details galore. That said, there are so many elements to find inspiration in…the stunning color palette, the warm...

If you aren’t already familiar with the fabulous Rebecca Feeney, she’s definitely a name to add to your must-have list. Rebecca’s work is one part chic, one part completely personal…always undeniably fabulous. And this wedding, a tiny affair of just 22 people (which of course means that you can go bonkers with the decor), was utterly gorgeous.

There is just something to love about this wedding. The traditional, but beautiful approach. The amazing little gaggle of kiddies (dressed to the nines of course). The perfect flowers, the feeling of pure celebration. And Jenne Hohn, the event designer behind the day, did an incredible job at capturing the spirit of total loveliness.

Engage ’09 Wrap-Up, II

July 15th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 5 comments

It’s one thing to write about beautiful events day in and day out. It’s another thing entirely to attend one as a guest. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been to some pretty beautiful weddings. A lot of them, actually. But, there was something really magical about the party at Engage ’09.

The thing is, the artists and planners behind Engage ’09 understand completely just how important the details...

July 15th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 6 comments

I am WAY tardy in posting the Engage ’09 wrap-up, but…better late than never! For those of you that have no clue what I am talking about, I recently headed down to the most fabulous wedding vendor get-together in the Cayman Islands hosted by the incredible Rebecca Grinnals of Engaging Concepts. Lucky, lucky me, I was asked to speak on a panel called Innovating with Style with the amazingly talented...

It’s definitely official.

California Chic Wedding by Jose Villa, II

July 13th. 2009 by Abby Larson | 34 comments

I heart Jose. Really, really heart Jose. His work is always so clean, so vivid. It tells the story of the day with a sense of timeless romance, with a hint of whimsy, a hint of pure gorgeousness. And this wedding is no different. Held at a local winery in Los Olivos, California…the wedding is all about an intimate gathering of close friends and family. Love that.

The AMAZING cake was designed by Decadence and for me...
