I know that some of you are DYING to know how to make those adorable DIY Moss Covered Monograms from today’s featured wedding. Well, the bad news is that Aly, the lovely bride, is setting up shop in a new apartment that doesn’t have internet just yet. The good news is that I already had some pictures from her and I found a GREAT step-by-step to coordinate.

To go along with the pictures, I found THIS great tutorial over on The Adventures of the Grosgrain Bride. I think that it might look a little more complicated than it is. I hope that some of you will do this project as it is SUCH a great way to make a huge statement all while spending very little mula. Gotta love that!
I absolutely love this idea. I wanted to have our initials covered in flowers but it can really add up. This is a great way to get the same look for a fraction of the cost! Thank you for sharing.
They look awesome!
I would love to know if the bride would be willing to sell her letters, as I just so happen to need both an A and a J! Please contact me at jboerschig@gmail.com! Thanks!
Also, I've seen large cardboard letters at Joann's and Michaels, those could be purchased and covered in moss also! Just FYI for anyone, might be a little easier than the other step-by-step listed.
Wow! These look awesome!! great job!
these look gorgeous! if anyone is interested, here is a similar tutorial using wood letters from michaels.

Actually I helped with this wedding and know exactly where you can get the specific instructions for the moss covered letters from the friend who made them...Her name is Carol Smithback and check out her blog at www.oldwillowfarm.blogspot.com.....Enjoy!
thank you for this! is it wrong that i want to make them and cover them in twinkly lights just to have on our patio for everyday enjoyment?
Thanks for the love! Those letters were one of my first DIY wedding projects and were so much fun to make! If anyone has any questions, let me know! xoxo
The grosgrain bride blogger did hers 8 months ahead of time - i guess the moss is fine for that long, right? I too am trying to do as much as I can ahead of time.
Love these! They are so fabulous. I have a thing for making monogram door wreaths too!
They look great!
I love these!! They look great!! This was on my "To Do" list for the wedding and I ran out of time. These pictures make me really wish I could have gotten around to it! :) But I love the above poster's idea to make one for the front door of our house. Thanks!!
