Today’s first wedding is total charm. The bride’s big sister actually submitted it to Style Me Pretty, which is so super cute, as she was so blown away by the chic, DIY touches and charming home-grown feel that the gorgeous bride and groom infused. Held in Spanish Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita, CA, you guys are going to love this one!

From Emily, the brides sister…
My sister, Aly, and her fiance are both teachers, so they wanted to use elements like apples and chalkboards in their decor. Aly wanted the vibe to be casual yet elegant…it was a ranch-style setting amongst huge oak trees and rolling hills, complete with a barn, lake, and grassy knolls. The color scheme: black and white and granny-apple green, very chic, and was balanced by some “down-home” elements like mason jars filled with flowers and candles, mini burgers and a french fry bar (sweet potato fries, garlic fries, blue cheese fries and regular fries to be exact – yum!), even fresh baked apple-shaped cookie favors (made by our grandma and sister Annie!).
So much more to come!
PS…Dress is Vera, waiting on info about those cute shoes!

Ellie
Very nice use of a tilt shift lens. Great work!
Hey Kelly! The bride made the letters...I'll have more on that in a bit:)
a moss monogram and midnight blue shoes - already love it!
I love the shoes, and even just from the glimpse, I love the dress! Any details on where they are from?
Love the moss monogram. Would love to see instructions on how to make it.
Lovely, lovely wedding. I also adore the moss monogram letters...details please?
Waiting patiently for info on those shoes ... :)
i am IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love her shoes!
How can a teacher afford Vera?? Grr....
Beautiful Wedding! Where did the groom get his tie? The color is perfect.
I can't wait for the info on those shoes, they are exactly what I'm looking for!!! Stunning wedding.
SHOES! I must have those midnight blue shoes!!!!
PS Only us brides and brides to be could call that midnight blue! To everyone else, my colour scheme is navy and orange - to me, it's 'inky, midnight blue and rusty, burnt orange'!!
MUST.HAVE.SHOES
I got those shoes in black at Nordstroms, they are by Me Too. I'm not sure if they're the exact same ones but they look like it!

The shoes are the Jeannette style - I bought them a few months ago and love them! They come in champagne which goes lovely with an ivory dress.
Wow!! Stunning! Where did this event take place? Gorgeous!
Sorry! nevermind. I know see where it was held. Still stunning!!
I don't think that the shoes are Jeanette by Me Too. The Me Too shoes don't come in blue and don't have the slightly scalloped detail on the side straps. Now, I'm obsessed with finding them!
I need those shoes!
I'd love to see a DIY on those moss letters too!!! Beautiful, beautiful wedding. Can't wait to see more!
Hi, I have to have those moss letters!!!! Would the bride be willing to sell hers if she still has them? It just so happens that I need a J and an A myself! Please contact me at jboerschig@gmail.com if willing to sell!! Thanks!
Would be great if the Bride could provide a DIY for the moss letters : )
Ok, I'm in love with those shoes. But also a very beautiful wedding.
I NEED those shoes! What/where/how???
Here are the shoes in a whole slew of colors...and yes, they have the scalloped edge along the insole.

Must have these shoes in midnight blue! I can't find them anywhere in that color. Help!
Hi ladies,
My sis got the shoes (Me Too) from Nordstrom. And yes they are the Jeanette style, BUT, bad news...they are black (not midnight blue)....I think its just the color/lighting in the image that makes them look blue. They were SUPER adorable in person though....and definitely come in a lot of colors :)
And where is the dress from? :)
Ahh, it's Vera...I should have read the info. Sorry!
Thanks Emily I was checking obsessively to find out about those shoes, now I can rest! ; )
Frenchieandflea.blogspot.com has more info on the wedding and letters.
