Chic, Down Home Wedding, II

July 31st. 2009 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 17 comments

This is such a cute wedding. It’s one of those weddings that, if you are lucky enough to be a guest, you always remember. Details galore, charming handmade touches, a bride and groom that literally glow.

The chalkboard centerpieces, the flowers that were all crafted by family friends, the painted popsicle sticks that were used as place cards and tucked into a vintage milk crate container. Love it all. There is just so much more touching about a wedding that was crafted by friends and family and yet still looks incredible chic. It’s hard to put into words!

OOOH I love everything about this wedding from the theme to the location. I love the flower in the bride's hair instead of a veil. Where did you purchase it? Also, where did you get all of the apothecary jars? Were you able to rent them from a vendor or did you purchase them?

    katie and prettylady21:

Aly got all 7 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids, and her own hair flower from an etsy shop: untamedpetals.etsy.com!

And Katie the apothecary's were purchased from several places: Marshall's/TJ Maxx (they have such good deals on stuff like this!) and Michael's & Beverly's Craft Stores (with 50% off coupon's from the Sunday paper!).

    Karen,
The stool is something my mom just had from forever ago from who know's where :) .... maybe try a craft store or a kids furniture store???

Her dress is absolutely STUNNING; someone please tell me where I can find one just like it. Cheers! :)
